Good lord... as someone new to this kind of game this fight nearly broke me. The red phase is basically all or nothing, either I get in rhythm and parry everything, or I get off rhythm and get hit by every single one. I'm on about my 20th attempt now.
Also, is it an amulet that lets you shoot 3 arrows? Haven't come across that yet.

Yes it's easy to forget because you're not thinking about it in combat. Happened to me too!

Just beat this boss after about the 6th try & came to YT to see a pro take her down! Really fun boss fight. I was able to improve little by little & get more of her health down each time. The parry window is really generous in this game. When I figured out how to avoid her spinning unavoidable attack I was proud of myself lol.

Ground slam athra move was what I used when I panicked at the charging twirl move.
Accidentally Cinematic AF and deleted a Huge chunk of health.

During the transition phases if your not good at pary you can run to the left or right and keep jumping and dashing in the air. Great video, helped me out alot
100%. That's what I was doing at first but if you have perks for parrying such as health restore or athra build-up, it's a really good way to top up!

amazing skills! I actually died right after landing the last hit (I used the square hold attack which attacks at distance), and I got hit by the laser beam I think. But my attack landed first, so I respawned at the tree but the challenge was completed. I got the life increase thingy, but never got to see the after battle animation :(, so thanks

You can actually let the poison and use it as additional na damage, when the bird is diving all remaining poison will popup on the bird's body.
my boss fight went to phase 3 quickly with having still most of her health unlike in your video lol and it's driving insane.
Everyone must forget that red attacks can be parried as well if u have the Perk Elusive water.
Can someone help me understand why when I do the three straight counters, and she recklessly attacks, that I don’t get the cutscene? It just turns into a normal counter, and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

Damn you guys are good..... I'm considering cheats just to bypass this. I can never parry anything.... Even against single soldiers.
@@Ezio470 with practice you’ll get it I’m sure. Each boss takes me quite a few times to figure out the different attacks they do :)
So um I have a bit of a situation here. When I first fought this boss, we killed each other at the exact same time, and the game respawned me at the last Wak Wak tree and treated this as me defeating the boss. Now I can't talk to the wolf to get the last amulet I need. Any solutions?
My problem with this fight is when the screen zooms in during one of her attacks
How have you got so many amulets and the triple arrow shots and powers already by thos stage?????

I always like to explore every section before doing the main objective. I suppose if you just main line it, you can get to this point pretty quickly and not have many upgrades.
Yes , side quest, and exploration get you there. I have plenty amulettes already and the main ones are already maxed up, so the secret is, more exploration/dungeons/foes. Nevertheless gg on this flawless victory

I've definitely heard good things and I do like metroidvanias. I think the exciting combat is what really sold me on PoP but HK is absolutely on the backlog!

This is one of the places I wished I could use the d-pad to move instead of having to use the sticks. Too slow and imprecise to switch from blocking left to blocking right.
Why U have so much healings? I have only 4 blocks
This fight hinges on parry a lot. And it's the only thing i suck hard at. Stuck at this boss for 3 days now. Don't feel like playing it anymore.
I can never time when to press L2 correctly to parry.

Both ways are legit but you get athra for parrying!

Hahahaha for whatever reason, after dying a couple of times, there was a glitch, out of nowhere. I was hit over and over but no health taken. So I just started hitting back. Guess what? I lost no health and I killed it. I couldn't see sh*t, since the colors of the screen were messed up. After killing it, I kept moving to the left (direction I was heading) and eventually died (since graphics were all messed up). Re-started the game and kill was saved. So I didn't have to go through the boss again. Hahahahah

This PoP is pretty much my first Metroidvania game and this boss pattern was throwing me off because every boss before her actually has a good fight pattern (in my opinion).
Boss movesets after the Forest Queen are equally as challenging. Good luck and have fun!
