Definitely a slow burn of a video, hope you all enjoy it 📽️ Quick update! Gonna be dropping a lot of filmmaking related content the next couple weeks, have one photography project coming soon, but gonna try and find a stride with content I’m passionate about at the moment. Love you all and thank you for your constant support
everything amazing aside...the sound design was so beautiful...it felt so natural and yet so dreamy...and the way the shots were composed in 'part 3' was just so delicate and beautiful, i was gushing...and the fuck was with the ads separating different segments and mood turns....this was so beautifully compiled...idk why am i still writing...i just fell in love with it a little. (so much to learn)
I want everyone wanting to get one of these cameras to know, that a lot of what makes these images "special" is down to skill and scenery. You could easily exchange the tool with something similar. Don't expect to get what you hope for by just pointing the camera at anything. I think it's important to remember this, especially when a camera gets this much hype.
100% agree. I've had Fujifilm cameras since 2016 so I get where the hype stems from, but it is just that: hype. If they're saying on TikTok or whatever that it's a cheat code, it's not. It's harder to take decent quality pictures with it than a decent phone. It's just like any other enthusiast camera, there's some automation, but nothing like a modern phone and kind of assumes you want to learn the basics of manual photography. That being said it is a wonderful package (lovely item, compact-ish, high quality lens) and Fujifilm does try their best make everyday photography fun - arguably the most important thing for amateurs.
It's a thought-provoking piece that leaves you wondering about the future and the impact of our actions. Kudos to you for such an engaging and meaningful production! 🎥🎶
love the shot at 19:04 Beautiful locations overall and I love the choice of music in some parts specifically the Phillip Glass type stuff which gave some of the scenes a Naqoyqatsi vibe.
First things first, 4th of July in LA is like NO other ! People have NO idea lol. The amount of fireworks, the sound, the smell...unlike anything anywhere else lol. Second, those phone calls in the beginning were comedy ! Great video man. I'm still watching but ,love the image on top of the bridge w/ the small pop of color in the background.
8:45 has my jaw on the floor, obv slow shutter with flash but where is the red coming from? brake lights from a car? trying to understand how this was achieved. i guess the on camera flash is first curtain so probably the red is coming from car lights but im unsure
Your videos feel like “between the sheets” by the Isley brothers if that makes any sense lol. You’re a big inspiration for my short films on my channel bro.
hi serr! i'm a fan all the way from brisbane australia! thank you for your videos that inspire me everyday to learn more and experiment more with photography. can Iplease ask for you to make a future video showing us a workflow in color grading? :) :)
god how sharp it is.... what used to shot video parts here? what your main camera for video atm? watching you from your x70 videos))) talent was seen from the start
in a world filled with gopro’s and dji osmo photography vlogs, these types of videos are always refreshing and very much appreciated
Definitely a slow burn of a video, hope you all enjoy it 📽️

I have the x100t and its a similar experience. I completely agree with you

what video camera did you use to shoot the video
Calling in to order an X100VI is like getting a reservation at Dorsia. Possible, but not easy.
Amazing video as always. Would love to know what camera was used to film the videos
me too 🥲 I need to know what camera and lenses
I like the American Psycho phone call reference hahahah
Another banger
Potentially obvious question - do you shoot everything in log for flexibility in colour grading?
Are these photos edited in post or is it in-camera-recipies only?
