Your baby is just as loved and as important as any other child in this world . I’m so glad you felt some validation from the doctor. I will pray for you and your precious baby .❤
I'm so glad you experienced Medical professionals that truly care about your baby and can get peace that the baby will be in great hands. Love and light❤
It’s comforting to know there are Doctors who really care. Every baby should be given equal opportunity to thrive. It doesn’t sound like this little one isn’t going to be a worse case scenario which is awesome. If it were mine I’d be the same and it wouldn’t matter, baby is wanted and loved
It's great that you've received some positive news. Every baby is a precious gift from the Father and we are thankful to be on this journey with you. ♥
You're the perfect gift for your baby your having. The baby is meant to be Lord's will, you will do the baby well, and the love will be much. Prayers big time!
I heard this saying recently, “God gives special babies to special mothers”, which is so true. God is Faithful, and carries you and your baby under His wings!! I’m glad you’re feeling more confident with the Dr situation, I know that can be trying, especially when you usually home birth. We’ll be praying for you at our family Bible study, blessings
I'm so glad that you are finally having a better experience with medical staff. So thankful that there are others willing to fight for your baby as well ❤️ Hugs and prayers!
I can see the relief in your face and in your voice, Momma Bear! I am so happy that you found a team that will do whatever is necessary to treat the precious life of your baby. Keeping you close in my prayers. ❤
You my sweet friend have the almighty physician the healer about all .And he has everything in order and he make’s no mistakes . I m praying for you your sweet baby and your family! And I pray you are at peace with the faith you have I know GOD made this gift. There is no greater blessing. He sent this gift to you your husband and amazing family! GOD bless you all.
So glad you found a good doctor who is very reassuring and seems very happy to help and care for you and baby❤ thanks for the update! Continued prayers for you, baby and family 🙏🏼
Over the years I have followed a lot of heart babies and many of them go to Boston Children’s. Boston Children’s also saved my BFFs nephew. It was a miracle, he has serious heart defects, Boston did surgeries and he is a happy 14 year old!! PLT!
So happy that you're feeling more supported by your medical team & getting some answers. It's so heartening to have those that are kind & compassionate to help you & your baby. God bless your family. 🩷🙏
I am so glad you have had some positive experiences on this journey. You are 100% correct, lots of people are praying for your baby and family and we will keep it up!
My twin girls stayed in that NICU(fellow Mainer here) for 3 months in 2012. The only issue we had was vaccines but overall they received EXCELLENT care. They absolutely know what they're doing there. The doctors, NPs, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and anyone and everyone were amazing.
❤❤❤❤ Praise God for the team of medical people who are treating you and your baby the way you both should be! This update made me tear up with gladness. I can tell that some weight has been ifted from you. I'll continue to pray for you.
My youngest sister was born with a hole in her heat. She’s now 50, works super hard, married & has 2 lovely children. She’s totally healthy, praise God
I'm so glad you had a good positive experience. You deserved a great visit. I'll be praying for the drs and the team as well that will be helping care for you and the baby. I'm so happy for you. God is so good! Ty for sharing.
Thank you for your prayers! It’s rather grim to look at most information about trisomy 18. They say babies are incompatible with life. But we all know God is in control!
That ultrasound office sounds terrible! The last thing you need in a time like this is negativity. I’m so glad the rest of the hospital isn’t like that. Prayers for you and your family.
Where I had my babies (I had them both in the same room which was uncanny!) it’s a whole seperate building, downstairs is all the ante natel departments midwifes, ultrasound, classes and the restaurant etc then up one floor are the ante natel wards so where you go if you’re an inpatient before babies come and the postnatal wards where you come after delivery. You walk through the doors and go one way for ante natel and the other for postnatal. Straight ahead is the day room and behind you are the private rooms. Then up on the 3rd floor are the labour and delivery rooms and the operating rooms and nicu is up on that floor. I’m so relieved that you’re baby will be well looked after, I think most people who are hands on are loving and caring but those who are higher up seem out of touch and only go on what’s written in books and are so cold. I’m glad you got some peace from this appointment xx
Praying for you and your sweet baby ❤ May you only have good news to share, may The Almighty answer your prayers, wishing you only revealed good for you and your family. Sending lots of love.
So good to have a positive update, totally agree medical team attitude can make or break. With you with the mama bear, sure our teams shudder when one of our children have an appointment, not because of the children but because of me 🤣Still praying here for you all xxx
I read up on the problems that could happen and was surprised that children can survive, depending on the severity of the symptoms - I'm glad you decided to go ahead with the pregnancy xx
this is great. that the medical world still has not fallen to the claws of capitalistic disregard. for humans. it is your choice with your baby. thank goodness you will have the peace of knowing your team is on the side of your baby and their right to exist like any of the rest of us. i do admire you so much for your choice and outlook. i am quite sure I'd not be the same level of amazingness in your shoes. i am not particularly religious - but i am praying for your baby & for you.
Praise God! God is good all the time! I am so happy you received great news. Don’t claim anything the doctor says the baby may have. It sounds like you have good doctors. I pray you continue to receive good news at all of your appointments. You are so sweet. I would have made a scene at the appointment lol. Jesus is still working on me!!!

You followed your faith and I’m so glad you did. Not enough people trust in the Lord these days. I remember when I had an ultra sound with my 7 year old at about 38 weeks and they told me that he was measuring almost 8 lbs. Well I had him a week later and he weighed 6lbs 2oz. I was so relieved because before him the biggest baby I had was 6lbs 4oz. I’m so happy for you and your little one.
I had 2 babies both born premature 15 weeks early and 12 weeks. Early both had to go to INCU they had such beautiful amazing nurses doctors 1 nurse per 2 babies
Life will find a way. For God created all things to thrive, that is why animals and people change to give all creatures the absolute best change for survival and happy and prosperous lives.I don't know why your town, local Drs were so fatalistic. They obviously are not trained in any of this. I totally agree that the answer is not to end a life that God created and gave to such a family to love!
Still praying for you and your baby, glad you have a good support team in the dr. and other workers there at the hospital. But man, that ultra sound situation? That lady that didn't want your daughter there? She sounds like a seriously unhappy woman to treat you all like that. Crazy!!
My daughter's best friend had an ultrasound when she was 16 weeks along they told her baby would be in icu and hooked up to vent and feeding tube and all kinds of stuff. She delivered baby. He was perfectly normal there was not one thing wrong with him so if she would of ended the pregnancy like they wanted her to it would of been for nothing baby was fine.I wonder how many babies get aborted for health reasons and there's nothing wrong .

There are too many Karen’s in the world.
Have they done a quad screen to get a definite diagnosis. ? That will tell you for sure if it's trisomy 18. Also don't most babies keep their fist closed? I remember trying to clip fingernails and their fists are always clinched. I just don't understand why they cant tell you for sure . Wish the best for you and your family.
A quad screen is actually not a definite only amniocentesis.
