      For a dual band setup the KVC is better but they are virtually unobtainable.
      The best bridge for a dual band setup using the Breach or the new Armasight sidekick is the Rayvn Rail.
      I did a video on it. Much less expensive and made strictly as a dual band bridge.

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like them for the weight savings if running two bridged -14s. It’s not a huge weight savings but some is better than none.
      Functionality-wise, the standard pack’s gain knob is better at adjusting gain versus the buttons and the standard power knob is better for IR signaling. But if you don’t use the gain much or have a need for IR signaling then it’s a wash.
      The dual fuel capability (AA or CR123A) is a great feature.

  • @yaneemdetey
    @yaneemdetey 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    it's a very particular setup... That bridge also have two more types of arm, that one for "Flir M24" (in fact it's just fixed dovetail and it wont work with foldable one as they not lined up at all) and the mini n seas one. M24 is something isnt worth the mention unless you like fixed units like rnvg or anvis and the mini n seas bridge... oh f/ck i love the mini n seas bridge. It's a little heavy and overengineered but the bino is just very solid, you can put the coti in middle (hi, PSQ-36!) and you can control with easy just by stowing/unstowing it, never touch the switches. Only downside it's heavy enough (even so still less than 2xPVS-14) and not able to turn on/off while being up.

      @Scott After trying all the mounting options, my printed one is by far the best since I fitted it specifically for my eyes and head shape. I used it for some pretty hard hiking in very dense brush, it got a lot of branches and a couple of falls, still worked fine. The print settings and type of resin used makes a huge difference, but the Breach itself really pushed me to go to the full setup with dual tubes + COTI, I just found the Breach to not have any setting that worked for me versus a COTI's settings for palette/outline, not to mention how the overlay is a true fusion versus the psychedelic mind-overlay of the PVS+PTQ.

      for being the best PVS-14 bridge it's not a big deal. The only bridge that i found as stable as dedicated binocular and the reason it's so good is Wilcox Arm that fixing 14 straight. Yeah, it's heavy as fuck, controls are complicated and on/off buttons not working (at least for me), but it's really solid, not wobling and easy to stow/unstow.

    • @DaveSmith-cp5kj
      @DaveSmith-cp5kj 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Overpriced yes, but not overcomplicated. All the adjustments on there most people can benefit from. That said, it is only overpriced from the perspective that you have a CNC mill and can make your own bridge, If you don't, then the price is reasonable. Night vision is a small market. If you really want to save the bucks, you can always pick up a $90 chinese clone. Just bungie everything up well because it's just pot metal and can fail if you get too aggressive.
