Hi. Quick question. Thought I give a try to Luminar ai. I have encountered and issue with some of my night photos, shot long exposure. Specifically white light trails show purple instead of white(raw file)
Hi Kamil! Welcome to the channel! Many things can cause purple tints on the image. It can be caused by a filter you're using in front of the lens (very common issue), it could be due to your camera being configured with some picture profile adding magenta to your images (but if you're shooting RAW you might just be seeing the preview file, so you gotta configure your software to show you the Original) or it might be some preset being applied during import of your files. I'd check all these before buying Luminar, because it could happen that the problem will persist. Anyways, the software is pretty cool! Surely worth downloading the free trial and seeing if it's for you or not :D
@@FlyEnri jpg files show normally. Light trails from cars show as they should. As soon as I open raw in windows or luminar ai white light trails are purple
Ahhh the problem is happening only inside Luminar? What about when you open them on Lightroom? If the JPGs are fine the RAWs should be too. Unless it's a weird preview issue.

I currently need a computer/laptop, I’m debating wether to buy a gaming computer & a Mac (for picture editing) which will prob sum up to $3k or just 1 gaming computer $1.5k Most of the people I’ve asked (on TH-cam) they all say “macs”, I’m not a big fan of apple laptops, because in my poorly opinion they’re pretty expensive and they don’t really do much, Ive just heard they’re pretty good/fast when editing pictures etc, & the airdrop feature is pretty cool, but idk if an extra 1.5k is worth it. Thank you
Hi Leo! What's up ? Thanks a lot for watching! So this computer I assembled myself around November/2020. It's a Ryzen 3900x / 32G RAM / Nvidia 1050ti. If you need the mobility of a laptop go for it, but definitely a fixed workstation will be more powerful for the same price. For this one I spent about what you said, $1500 for the parts and $500 more on a great BenQ monitor with color accuracy. I wasn't a huge fan of Apple also, always thought it's a very low cost benefit, but these new M1 notebooks are very powerful for the price, even for video editing. I have also a Dell XPS notebook, and to edit pics on Lightroom it's perfect, but Luminar is a bit heavier, you need a dedicated graphics card to run it smoothly. So whichever you go for, be sure to have a good graphics side to it, and don't forget monitor color accuracy (something gaming notebooks for example don't have). Regarding the Airdrop feature, this is something you can get on windows using AirDroid, exactly the same functions and much more :) Hope this helps and welcome!
Hi Ian! The issues I found were commented in the video. Importing the pictures was a very strange process with thumbnails disappearing and exporting takes quite some time. I checked Skylum's community forum and couldn't replicate the bugs people were complaining about in my version. At least seems like they are actively trying to solve everything. Are you using it?
Bit of the warning. Avoid this program like a plague. More bugs and issues than it’s worth. See support section. Wasted 60 quid on this turd of the program

should've had affinity photo in the market comparisons, does most of what photoshop can do with a one time price
