It will!! lol. But honestly, it’s all about getting exposure to higher ranks and learning how they play so although my rank may go down temporarily, it might be a good thing
If you keep playing well into the new season, who knows, you could place really well off placment matches and not have much, if any, setback. Good luck! If I get this mod my goal is gc, as I am a c1 who peaked mid c2.
I actually can't express how much I love this series. You made me realize why I always get stuck in competitive video games. I'm only a diamond but some people have said I could be higher. My biggest problem is decision making just like you. I remember being absolutely insane in another game but I was somehow in one of the lowest ranks. It's because I either didn't think about what I was doing or made the dumbest decisions ever. Hopefully you hit ssl and I can get champ :)
If I focus I can win a lot but sometimes I'm an actual idiot lol. Oh and I'm a nervous wreck sometimes.

I easily got champ this season cuz of a pro training routine:
10 Freeplay for getting used to the rl physics again
Shooting training packs for 5 min to get ur precision back on
A few 1v1s not for winning just for the feeling and warming ur Defence and offense up against a real opponent
Back into Freeplay again and feel the difference
2v2 swetty grind
Honestly man it’s so cool to see how far you have come, you’ve improved so much already and it’s great to see that people who are downing themselves and thinking they’ll never hit a goal, because it’s just so hard for some people to hit such a milestone and I really hope you do it 🤞

You know what, this series has actually gotten me to do some training for really the first time in my almost 2k hours. I've done some stuff in the past, but it was never to attack my weak spots like it is now. I hang in the mid diamond ranges with speed, recovery, and decision making alone (dm being the weaker of those), but my mechanical ability is regularly outclassed by plats and high golds.

I highly recommend trying octane, even though fennnec fits the hitbox i can see that the touches are weirdly taken.

I guess the coaches that said she was uncoachable were on to something. I found the things Cbell was saying in those videos were very helpful and I jumped up in rank quicker. Also I would see people would queue up with her on stream who would clearly carry her.
@@bigmood8370 She was making progress though, obviously she's not uncoachable but I do think she doesn't put in the time in training it takes to get better. I think she was given the tools to succeed but didn't use them as best she could. If an SSL personally shows you how to get to SSL but you don't practice what you learn, you'll never get there. And she's been playing for so long too so I really didn't think she'd just give up, I don't know what happened. 🤷♂️

I love this series a lot and I would love to be proved wrong, but unfortunately I'm a doubter. I think it will take at least 2 more years to reach ssl if ever. Getting hardstuck in gc3 is very easy and I was in gc3 for well over a year before I finally made a push to ssl. The difference between 1500 and 1875 is way more than it looks. But I wish you the best in this challenge Cbell I hope you can reach ssl faster than I could

This video series is basically Cbell going, “if you want something done right you need to do it yourself”. The last video about Emmie was 7 months ago, so I am guessing she hasn’t made much progress. I think she would benefit from using the same mod, but I am guessing she isn’t as committed to the training grind required. Most people just want to play matchmaking instead of training mechanics.
nah. you just train mechs in games. annoy teammates and opponents and learn something. its good fun

@@intervention704 as someone who used to freeplay hours on end to train mechs with friends who just train mechs in game, my mechanics are a lot better than theirs are. you can only train certain instances so often in game, and its especially harder when you dont understand how to create those instances in the first place.

I grinded a bit recently (my gf is on vac). Got GC2. Crazy to be above this legend. I started in 2020 ? A few weeks before F2P and CBell was a great source of knowledge
Good series man. I really hate to say it but that Byle teammate you had was kind of justified in his quick chats. Plus dude was probably rage queuing lol. To be fair to him I’d be pissed too if I were in his situation. After seeing someone miss a few open nets and playing way too close when no one is back in GC1. Difference is I try to stay calm and not seem like I’m getting annoyed with anyone, because that’s when teammates start playing nervous and making mistakes. Maybe that’s what happened to you after he stopped playing. Anyway though, keep up the grind cause this is an entertaining journey to follow.

4:48 Hey CBell, sorry to be blunt but in 1s, this would be a won kickoff, right, but in 2s, it's a hard lost kick off, goes straight into the opponent 2nd man wheels for an easy outplay on your mate. (Since it goes on their side of the field blatantly, unless ur mate follow and opponent doesn't, it just put your mate in the diciest situation)
Nonetheless, great improvements overall, keep grinding, you'll get there eventually !

Also focus a lot on defense. Most people are good on offense but suck at defense. So also focus on that. Good luck :)
