Worf totally deserves to be the top of the list. Also his performance in PIC S3 was amazing; he was put through so much shit in TNG and DS9, but he gets help and grows as a person, and I'm so happy that he got to do that.

Don't forget Brent Spiner also had a brief voice-only cameo as Data in THAT episode of "Enterprise", as he's briefly heard over the Enterprise-D comm trying to get some advice from Counsellor Troi. Jonathan Frakes managed to make his way into an MCI Friends and Family commercial with all seven members of the TOS crew. While I won't count it as an episode appearance, I have to give him part credit for TOS. In addition to TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, LD, PIC, DIS, and SNW (the latter two behind the camera). They really need to sneak him into Prodigy, even if just for a voice cameo.

But, imagine how excided Trek fans would get if it was announced there was going to be a 10 episode series called "Worf: Son of Mogh". You could have special guest appearences from TNG and DS9 characters and the entire quest he goes on could be revealed to him by Sisko?
And, like any great Klingon fable, he has to find worthy warriors to join him on his quest?
Perhaps, he has a dream with Dax telling him where to find these 'warriors'?

I did not recognize Majel Barrett's voice as the TOS computer. But the computer voice was so distorted that it makes sense that the audience wouldn't recognize Nurse Chapel's voice coming out.

    • @andrewmurray1550
      @andrewmurray1550 ปีที่แล้ว

she wasn't the computer voice in TOS - Sean never said she was. She was "Number 1" and "Nurse Chappel" in TOS, characters that have surfaced again (separate actors in Strange New Worlds.).
Majel was the computer voice in TNG era, and Voyager, including the TNG movies.

"voice over" part was mentioned - Majel, as "Computer Voice". The opening monologue (opening credits) of TNG was Patrick Stewart doing the "where no one has been before" intro. The other shows have no such opening except TOS which was Bill Shatner doing the "where no man has gone before" intro. Can't count "Faith of the Heart" opening titles of Enterprise.

I’d like to suggest you do something similar for all regular and recurring characters, no matter who played them. So for example you have Spock in both pilots, TOS, TAS, the six TOS films, guest shots in TNG and the Kelvin films by two people, and Kirk in the second pilot, TOS, TAS, the first seven films, the Kelvin films, and guest shots in the recent streaming series.
If you did this, I’d suggest you arrange it in chronological order. With the first pilot, you’ve got Pike, Spock, and Number One, you can count The Menagerie for Pike and Una, as well as their Discovery and Strange New Worlds appearances.
The second pilot introduces Kirk, Scotty, and Sulu, all of whom made appearances after TOS, as well as Lt. Leslie.
And don’t forget the punk rocker on the bus! Lol
Finally, you can also track appearances of the ships, shuttles, and runabouts, as well as Starbases, running from the beginning.

Sean. This is not related to this video, but what's the back story on Riker saying to Picard, "Excellent use of the word 'burgle'" to which Captain Shaw nods in agreement. That definitely looks like a behind-the-scenes joke. Nowhere else does anyone in Trek congratulate a captain on their vocabulary! This is when they are planning to burgle Daystrom.

Great list. Its a very predictable list too. How about a top 10 or 20 of most appearances from non main characters. People like Ro, Barkley, Wesley, Seska, Naomi Wildman, Icheb, different borg queens, and of course Q, So many more not mentioned here.

TrekCulture you need to make a video on the Bridge Ensign's that were there for more than one shift and why they had a big turnover with the others?
Was Picard just super hard to please and he kept asking for new Ensign's to sit at the helm?
Or was Picard more of a Kirk than we knew and he would "me too" them then transfer them to another ship?

Worf was great, and also we got to know much about Klingons, more than any other species!
And it was cool Worf was like "the ideal klingon". "Klingons do not laugh" 🤣 yes they do.
Klingons are not that honourable, especially that advocate in DS9. I like the klingon restaurant and the cook. He even plays klingon music and sings.
And they have strategy and "Guile" 🤣

“Et in arcadia ego” is Latin not French, so the “T” in ”Et” is sounded. Rhymes with “bet” or “debt”, take your pick but the “t” is definitely there to be heard. “And I in paradise”
