Bro, just get a tablet 😭
Ain’t the same bro owning everything physically is way better
Bro just watch lol. I've come to learn
Got this same DVD player today for the same purpose: connect external sources. Your video was perfect for me! Exactly what I wanted to see. 💪😊 This is 2023, but its features are very useful, even as a camera monitor.
Exactly! Glad it helped. I always thought those 'input' ports had so much potential. I wish modern devices would have that option.
I have the Apeman 15” dvd player. It only has the AV in. I spent some time hooking it up but it stayed as a blue screen. After trying different inputs on the RCA plugs, it finally worked! My yellow plug fits into the red socket, the white stays white, and the red goes into the yellow socket. It works from any device that can adapt to the html cable such as my Roku, phone, and tablet. Now I have a bigger screen to watch movies!
Thank you for your guidance!
Awesome, glad it worked. Those RCA cables can be tricky!
I might be late to the party but I have a sony DVP-FX930 portable DVD player and I want to connect my phone to it to display my screen is there a way I can do that
You'll probably need an adapter for your phone. Depending on iPhone or Android, it would need to be lightning/USB-C to HDMI. I know there are some adapters that will do that but I've never tried it.
Very few portable dvd player's had video input and one could possibly fit a raspberry pi computer inside one of these as well ...
Yeah I'm sure you can. In fact some of the older Raspberry Pis have an RCA video output so you wouldn't even need an adapter.
I have portable dvd player which came RCA cable what ment connect it to TV will that work planning test a firestick on my portfolio please let me know thanks
It depends if that RCA plug is input & output capable. Does it say that in the plug? If it says input then yes you should be able to use it for that.
It has output input
I have a TX10Pro, which has AV. Connect two RCA cables to the RCA cable coupler, if one of the two RCA cables goes to the TX10Pro and the other to the DVP-fx770 audio out or video out ???
Please reply
It's hard to say without knowing your setup and the cables/splitters you're using. If you just want to transfer the video from TX10 to the DVD player, try connecting the cable to video in/out jack. You may need to try different cable connections to get video in the DVD player. If you also want to transfer audio you're going to have to find a way to split stereo audio from the TX10 using splitters. Then connect to the audio in/out jack.
@@erasertech16 Thank you
Does it work on PlayStation systems…PS4 or PS5 🤔
It should work as long as it has RCA outputs and you have the right cables for the connections.
That Widescreen Sony DVD player
You can play Blu Ray Discs too
I can playy ps2 to my portable dvd
I just bought one and I am quiting netflix because it will be too expensive soon.
That's a good idea.
What if i have AV in and another for AV out?
Use the AV in to input your video source. The AV out port is to connect it to an external device like a TV.
@@erasertech16 So do i use the AV in with the HDMI to RCA dongle if I want to use chromecast and have the portable dvd screen as a screen? Sorry I am not very familiar with the terms...
Yes exactly. That should work. Chromecast -> HDMI/RCA dongle -> DVD player (AV in).
@@erasertech16and also projector
@@amdreanarieonly for widescreens. I also used HDMI TO RF to adjust and stretched aspect ratio settings and also HDMI TO VGA and VGA TO VIDEP adpaters too for all non-widescreen TVs
HDMI2AV only for widescreens
That's correct. That Digital to Analog converter won't let you use a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Not verry portable once all hooked to streaming devices but excellent video
Good point!
