These are all of the bumps that aired during the May, 27th broadcast of Toonami on Adult Swim. Some clips were not included because they were actually the intros which were already uploaded.
CoCo Jenkins glad I’m not the only one that misses this Toonami, I hated Tom 5’s design. Still don’t like it, I think it’s a complete downgrade. He looks sloppy, dirty, ugly, and short. It’s like they just mixed together some random robot parts and put a head on top. Tom 3.5 looked smooth, and the overall style was just nice and slick. Really had that late night feel like you said. The “new” layout is also super generic and the promo beats are meh. The absolution now looks bland. The current lineup isn’t that great either, but to be fair I stopped watching cable TV a few years ago.
youre exactly right, the reason why they arnt as prime as they were before is because they need a good budget. i mean those bumps from the past were made from 11 years of broadcasting. we need to make it even better than that
in fact I think CB fits perfectly with the LATER bump. Theres nothing like watching the end of a Bebop episode and then say "See you later space cowboy" only 2 seconds later Toonami saying LATER.
I think it's so dark in the ship because there's no SARA yet, and she's the AI of the place. So when she's back, I think they are going to reveal the actual lit up fully functioning absolution. That would be a perfect way to introduce SARA in my opinion.
They should also have a toonami for the main channel too. The time lot could be Young Justice,Generator Rex,Sonic X,Batman TAS,Justice League/Unlimited,Samurai Jack, and DBZKai. Just saying because CN needs more a variety these days. Nowadays it seems like they play the same 5 shows everyday consistently.

It's reminiscent of the old days when it was just Moltar and a bunch of cheap license shows (NOT that I really remember that far back too well, but I know things second-hand) Plus DW was a pretty awesome thing, so you gotta give props to the programmers, in my opinion.

I absolutely stopped watching cartoonnetwork and it was 10:22pm tonight when I flipped it to cartoonnetwork and I saw Deadman Wonderland on the T.V. guide. I was thinking, "Ok, new anime to Adult Swim." I flipped the channel back to Fatal Encounters and flipped the channel back to cartoonnetwork at 10:59. At was when I saw Tom say, "Ok, it's another night. Let's get this thing started." He pushed a button, and Toonami started. I ran to my computer quick as hell and got on to ask

Now Toonami just needs to bring back their "Friday Movies", their music videos (like the "Robots" music video commercial), & their "Character Promos", then Toonami will be complete again and the nostalgia will be filled to the brim

Actually if you get funimation channel it is pretty close. They just have to get funimation on every tv provider.
