I dont see Pitt beating WVU this season. WVU has a lot of experience & talent returning on this years roster, coupled with Pitts new OC, new QB, personnel vs concept mismatches, portal losses on defense, itll take them a few games to find their rhythm. That said, an easy schedule does help them gain traction to get a few more #s in the Win column this season. If they played WVU before Cincy I would say their chances would be much better since they have a new OC and wouldnt have to show much vs KentState so they could surprise WVU with new concepts and lack of film for gameplanning, but given they play Cincy first and will have to put their base concepts on film vs a much improved Cincy team from last season, I think WVU takes the W and covers having enough film to get a good enough idea of what they like to do. WINS: Kent State, Youngstown, Cal, UVA, BC TOSS UPs: Cincy, Syracuse, SMU LOSSES: WVU, UNC, Clemson, LVille I think Pitt wins at least 1 of their toss ups and goes 6-6, maybe 7-5 in regular season. I do like their new OC hire, hes a creative OC and if PItt fans are patient and give him another offseason to align the offensive personnel to the concepts he prefers to deploy I think Pitt can get back to competing near the top in the ACC. However, I think this season will be a "growing pains" type of season, again somewhat bolstered by a weaker SoS, which will actually help them. While the season ends with 1-2, winning the last game allows them to enter the offseason on a positive note and maybe makes a bowl game, giving the roster more practices to help setup the 2025 team to play at a much higher level.
Not losing to Cal nor BC, but fair analysis overall. It will hinge on the new OC and QB synergy and if they can get a young buck like sincere Edward’s to take the reins at DE
Buddy, Pitt isnt going to beat WVU. I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck there will probably be more WVU fans at that game than Pitt fans, not to mention WVU on paper absolutely blasts Pitt's roster.

You really think these two teams are the same rosters from 2022? I'm sure WVU fans are going to be way more pumped for this season than Pitt fans, and it will show in the stands.
