ATC 250R 3 wheeler vs TRX450r at Glamis - GoPro 1080p

- Some bikes drag racing up Olds at Glamis. The 3 wheeler that took off like a bat out of hell is me on my 1986 ATC 250r with the usual mods (pipe, carb, rad valve, porting). The other two 3 wheelers are both 1985 250R's. The quad with the cameraman on it is a 2005 Honda TRX450r that is all bone stock. The other quad is a 1986 TRX250r.
This vid is kind of old and was kind of lost in the middle of another vid I already have online that was just a really long raw footage clip. Shot with a GoPro HD in 1080p mode.

The 85 250R is a beast. I HAVE AND LOVE IT. When I saw the title I knew right away that the 3-wheeler was gonna take it no problem. TRIKES RULE
That r is a beast! The 450 is tough on it’s on own. I have one bone stock, I also have an ‘82 185s modified that will run circles around it.

nice. i have never road a 250r 3wheeler or the 250r 4wheeler but i have road amany 450r`s and those thing are beasts, my little brother has a 07 trx450, i got a 400ex
@Dammit250r Actually...if you pull the clutch every time you tend to ease out on the throttle a little, or dump the clutch after a shift, i think that would cause more wear. Although...its different in the dunes than riding logging roads..

Im not an expert with clutches but every time you shift do you have to pull in the clutch or do you only use it went goin from neutral to 1st?

Fuck all the haters... The four stroke boys are so clueless. They grew up on all those YZF450's and CRF450's. Sure, those are fast... No doubt.
But they don't compare to a 250+ two stroke on the top end when it comes to just screaming RPM's spinning paddles to the top of a hill, two strokes will always win. The 450 4 stroke boys will dominate in motocross, but drag racing and hill climbs are the realm of the two stroke. Usable power be damned.
