My God how Bernie has lived. The collection is one thing, but he was there. His memories are more valuable than the cars. Almost. The cars? They are so much more than mechanical history. It's been said before far more eloquently than I could. What a treat to be allowed into the warehouse of dreams. Thanks!
Bernie, your story of buying Connaught is legendary, and so inspirational. I have read and read so much about it. Your first team, an F1 driver, a manager, then Brabham owner then FOCA! People in F1 today and following it have NO idea how much they owe to Bernie Ecclestone who made F1 what it is today. It all began with a dream at Connaught: Bernie and his driver Lewis-Evans, who dared to put a dream into reality.
The interview with Bernie is the best part , he's such a trickster. Would love to see him and Jordan , have a fireside chat down memory lane. Hopefully there is loads of unheard stories about Bernie to come .
I don't think its possible to live a more full life than Bernie Ecclestone. These are the stories he can tell on Camera, imagine the confidential stuff and characters he's had to deal with. That is a man built harder than tungsten. Incredible
Interesting how he said chapman “disappeared”. but reported to die of a heart attack. Shortly around the time he was going to be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
I could watch you speaking to Bernie for hours and hours on end , what an amazing man and you’ve got such an incredible way about you , incredible video and production too
I've spent a reasonable amount of time around historic racecars and seen some amazing collections but that is the best collection of significant vehicles I've ever seen.
No person on the planet is more worthy of finding new homes for these historic heroes of motorsport than Tom Hartley Jnr. I’m hoping you can do an in-depth video of each car at some point but above an in-depth lengthy talk with Bernie before such amazing stories and memories are lost forever. If his life is not worthy of a movie I don’t know what is. Thanks for another quality video!
One day in the future we will look back at this collection and say ‘ do you remember when THJ sold that one off Ecclestone collection’ show this video to your grandchildren ❤

And another unmissable experience with Bernie and Tom. It's getting better and better. Thanks again for sharing.

Incredible collection.
Need a documentary about the great man bernie.
So is this an auction? I feel like it should be auctioned for highest value and really determine market value
Who disappeared 7:02
So the big question is did Chapman actually fake his own death?
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Seriously
