My God how Bernie has lived. The collection is one thing, but he was there. His memories are more valuable than the cars. Almost. The cars? They are so much more than mechanical history. It's been said before far more eloquently than I could. What a treat to be allowed into the warehouse of dreams. Thanks!
I don't think its possible to live a more full life than Bernie Ecclestone. These are the stories he can tell on Camera, imagine the confidential stuff and characters he's had to deal with. That is a man built harder than tungsten. Incredible
The interview with Bernie is the best part , he's such a trickster. Would love to see him and Jordan , have a fireside chat down memory lane. Hopefully there is loads of unheard stories about Bernie to come .
Bernie, your story of buying Connaught is legendary, and so inspirational. I have read and read so much about it. Your first team, an F1 driver, a manager, then Brabham owner then FOCA! People in F1 today and following it have NO idea how much they owe to Bernie Ecclestone who made F1 what it is today. It all began with a dream at Connaught: Bernie and his driver Lewis-Evans, who dared to put a dream into reality.
No person on the planet is more worthy of finding new homes for these historic heroes of motorsport than Tom Hartley Jnr. I’m hoping you can do an in-depth video of each car at some point but above an in-depth lengthy talk with Bernie before such amazing stories and memories are lost forever. If his life is not worthy of a movie I don’t know what is. Thanks for another quality video!
At around 7 mins , there a piece about Colin Chapman , interesting to hear Bernie talk about him. He was one of the last people to talk to him before he " disappeared " . Very telling comment and body language from Bernie. The ammount of financial trickery involved to keep a f1 team going is staggering the pressure must have been immense.
I've spent a reasonable amount of time around historic racecars and seen some amazing collections but that is the best collection of significant vehicles I've ever seen.
This collection is honestly hard to fathom. I think the sale price, no matter how high, will be undervalued. It’s a borderline priceless collection of cars.
I could watch you speaking to Bernie for hours and hours on end , what an amazing man and you’ve got such an incredible way about you , incredible video and production too
This series has been truly the most interesting watch in a long long time, Tom has such a great knowledge, he should do more stuff like this. Seeing Bernie so humble too is great.
I’ve only just come to realise that these formula cars are beautiful. What has happened these new vehicles wouldn’t hold a candle to the aesthetics of the past.
Not just a secondhand car dealer, Tom Hartley Jr comes across as very knowledgeable regarding formula 1 cars. This has been an excellent series of classic cars, well done Tom.
These images and details presented in the video are incredible. I collect a model of the championship winner for each year of F1, I’ve got all 74 to date, and these videos of the real cars up close; with the immaculate condition of the collection give me the best look at what the actual cars looked like. I love all the details and seeing the evolution of the technology in F1 since 1950. Just amazing that one person would own such a collection. And if anyone should I guess it’s Bernie. 🏁
Interesting how he said chapman “disappeared”. but reported to die of a heart attack. Shortly around the time he was going to be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
It’s so sad that the cars will always be worth more than the history that bernie has lived and created . What a stunning collection of cars , will be very interesting to see what each car sells for esp the real classic vehicles
One day in the future we will look back at this collection and say ‘ do you remember when THJ sold that one off Ecclestone collection’ show this video to your grandchildren ❤
Someone needs to convince Bernie to write a true version of his story to be published after death. He has probably the most encyclopaedic know of F1 and though he doesn't believe it, what he knows is going to be lost when he is not around and needs to be made available to everyone. His contribution, including the more questionable bits, is going to be overshadowed and eventually lost. He owes a lot to F1, but I think F1 probably owes him more.

Tom's content on here is mindblowing. he's got some of the best racing timeless history on here! This is nothing short of incredible.

And another unmissable experience with Bernie and Tom. It's getting better and better. Thanks again for sharing.

Favourite episode of this collection.
Bernie doesn't say much but you can tell he loves these cars
Just bloody WoW !! The most interesting/ prestigious/valuable..collection..full stop .. moving car collectors onto a new level 🤷🏻♂️
Sad to know this unbelievable collection will be broken up and separated from Bernie. Thank you for a monumental series of videos.
I could watch you speaking to Bernie for hours and hours on end , what an amazing man and you’ve got such an incredible way about you , incredible video and production too
Greatest collection on the planet. So enjoyed these looks at this entire collection. Cool as.

Cudos to Bernie Ecclestone.
He was the right man at the right time!! He's a Motor Racing Legend. Thank you for all your achievements.
Great series thanks Tom, and Bernie, respect!!
Happy days, 4 Sundays in a row, perfect time aswell, sat down with a roast🤤
Such an amazing collection, the best in the world a far as f1 goes.
Waau thank you very much for these priceless collection of historical treasures. Mind blowing. Love from Africa.

the breadth of this collection is genuinely stunning
Bernies Collection should not be broken up, but be put in a Museum for all the world to see.

Another fascinating and superbly shot and produced video. Big respect to the production team.

Love these episodes so much history!!
Brilliant collection
Fantastic collection Bernie, why are there no Lotus cars?
Merry Christmas to you Tom thanks again for your great work
Thank you tom , been waiting again
He is 94 years old and still kicking it
Amazing series!
Stunning!
A man who has lived through the ages.
What a shame if this collection is broken up. Surely, for someone, this is a museum in a box?
Amazing Bernie!
Talbot-Lago T26C is supreme. Love that car
I have really enjoyed these videos. Tons knoledge is second to none. Bernie seems like a really down to earth gentleman too.
Just look at that Auto Union!
Thanks, Bernie.
When is the auction? Can we watch live?

Incredible collection.
The more we hear from Bernie, the more we learn that he was behind a lot more than we knew, and cared a lot more about people than he let on.
La F1, un championat fantastique❤🎉🎉🎉😅
🎉
Need a documentary about the great man bernie.
Update on The Firs please? Merry Christmas 🎅🏼
This is the era I’m fascinated with….. I bought the factory lol
One day in the future we will look back at this collection and say ‘ do you remember when THJ sold that one off Ecclestone collection’ show this video to your grandchildren ❤
So is this an auction? I feel like it should be auctioned for highest value and really determine market value
Now we're talking. ❤️
Wow. Bernie admits Colin Chapman "disappeared".
To South America, right, Bernie? 😄
So the big question is did Chapman actually fake his own death?
Why did Bernie stop with the 2002 Ferrari?
😎😎😍😍
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Colin Chapman didn't 'disappear' !!!!!
Funny Bernie say people would not be interested in his life. I would watch a film about his life.
Talbt-Lago T26 #110007 My fathers Lago ..
As of 4 December 2024. Bernie is selling his collection through Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd.

Colin Chapman...
