All three of our big domestic manufacturers are producing vehicles now that can compete with the best of anything else from around the world. They've come a long way in improving quality and technology.
Bought a white jeep cherokee trailhawk lastnight. Had to special order it. Should be here in 4 to 6 weeks. Last vehicle was a 2005 jeep liberty renegade....has 209500 miles on it. Traiding it in for a new one. ......i would love to watch it built from the ground up
+ S Justice FYI...........your Cherokee is slightly disguised Fiat/Alfa Sedan...bad vehicle in Europe/bad in the USA FYI.........your Patriot is a slightly disguised Mitsubishi Galant Platform...and its base engine is Mitsubishi engine too(built under license by Chrysler and the Koreans also). Mitsubishi has surrendered to becoming mainly a Platform-Giver...........as most people that know anything about vehicles....know Mitsubishi engineers/sells garbage vehicles. Nothing to love about either vehicle...both poorly engineered-built vehicles. last time I recall.....Fiat-Chrysler group have the worst reliability-durability-build quality of any vehicles marketed in the North American Car Market.
+D McNamara Actually they have one of the best reliability-durability-build quality of the world, known as the worlds best off-roaders. Our Jeep only had one problem in its 8 year life, still runs strong and proud.
Not sure what your talking about. But we have own a 07 Patriot since 07 and it has been a great vehicle for us. Not a thing wrong with it. Any vehicle you own can go bad if you do not take care of it. Plus things have changed...

I just bought a cherokee limited and after watching this process especially the metrology part and the inspection of gaps which is 2/10 of a millimeter, I can't help but wonder how I can SEE and FEEL unacceptable panel gaps in my doors and tailgate for a brandnew car. It was like it was slammed there and screwed it and done. Other than these panel gaps that I am so disappointed, everything seems great and Liking it, I have to give jeep credit for that.
Somebody was smoking something before they inspected my 14 Jeep Cherokee , I have a lot of misaligned body panels. OH and thanks Jeep for the JUNK 8.4N system. How nice to have a buzzing noise on the AUX section.

For 2014 MY vehicles, most issues are ironed out now for 2015 MY as I can tell from forums.
