Im listening today in Hispanic heritage its dia de los muertos and you must remember those who've moved on or else they fade away in the after life so even tho i never heard the song from the original composer till now that ive been searching. He is shining in the after life.
I wanna be like you when I'll be old lol you rock every time I hear you man ! Much love from Quebec brother !! You have a crazy tone every time and so much feel !!
@@NicTadaronne hope you don’t think I’m old Nic:( I’m only 28! lol only joking. Thanks so much brother, it inspires me seeing comments like this. I had a look at your videos and you are on your way you have some great chops and you can feel it also. It just takes some time. I was at your stage at one stage . You’re not far off me man. Keep it going and much love !
@@TheBEEFBOY its a pleasure no problem man! It was indeed a joke as I figured out we were in the same age group ahah but seriously do you play since you’re a child ? I started 16 months ago and I can’t say I am not proud of my progress but it feels like a huge mountain between knowing the pentatonic scale and playing around in my bedroom versus covering Hazel flawlessly as you do repeatedly ! The gap between average and pro seems so hard to break but I’m putting all my heart into the journey🤘💪
@NicTadaronne yes bro I have been playing since around 8 years old ! Quite some time now. And wow bro for 18 months you are flying ! This time next year you will be a boss. Trust me one day soon you will look back and surprise yourself how far you have come so far. I have never practiced scales in my life and that’s being honest , I have always just practiced my pitch whilst listening to songs and once you get pitch right, you can make it seem like you are a lot more advanced. Sit with backing tracks on and play along to them and you will go a long way my friend. Thanks for the kind words brother. Means a lot
Good balance of putting some space in there.....nicely done. Maggot Brain is a big fav of mine from when I was a little kid and heard it on the radio. I never heard anything like it and it grabbed ahold of me.
Thank you very much for the comment. I remember the exact feeling when I heard it too! I really don't enjoy this take I have up I think I can do the song way better justice so keep the eyes peeled I might put up another one . Thanks again bud
Wow....simply wow. I love that Eddie Hazel is not forgotten here by you. That tone is killer. Did you loop the backing track or find it online? Have you taken the cosmic ride with Satch yet like on The Crush of Love? If so then possibly Randy Holden with his "Fruit and Icebergs?" This is the psychedelic 70's all over again.....
What a lovely comment to read my friend thank you ! - and yes Eddie is a beast and he is slept on heavily! I wish he had more material out there. I found the backing track from nowyoushred, best page for backing tracks on TH-cam. And thank you , I have never heard if this so I will for sure take the cosmic ride with it tonight! If you have more reccomendations they are always welcomed my friend.
I realized after coming across your California Dreamin' Eddie Hazel version last year that I didn't need to see the video tbh. Just listening to the emotion you bring to your playing is the cat's meow..... Since you asked I will offer a band out of the UK that you might know. Agnes Strange. The debut album was released in 1975. Some sweet psych, acid, boogie blues rock. Kinda in the Status Quo, Grand Funk sound. Anyway the 2nd album for some reason was archived for 25 years until it was released in 2000. The song I will link is the title "Theme for a Dream" If you like it you will like the album. Cheers th-cam.com/video/6xJCf-1gqiI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z3OlcmWwVLtDDAW1
@allthingsvinyl4185 bro you introduced me to crush of love...I am forever greatful. Keep your eyes peeled for a cover of it soon. I'm going to devote more time and effort to this page. Alot of the videos I have up at the minute I really dint like either and think are scrappy. I will get a listen to this one now bud. Keep them coming
I'm gonna throw Billy TK's killer album when he was with The Human Instinct 1960s-early 70s. Out of New Zealand. If you know him you know him, he is a guitar god/ idol from that scene. Jimi was a fan. His distortion, reverb, tone and wah is mind blowing. It's called Stoned Guitar, 1970 release. It's a very diverse acid trip but it also has covers from Jesse Harper and Rory. The title song is killer. Black Sally is too....btw my name is Mark. th-cam.com/video/Tz8q5PG-Lsw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VQq5vWYJhLWrCyO1
Phenomenally GIFTED. So you're Ambidextrous as well. Wow, Playing Left-handed brings a Completely Different Sound... Most especially when playing a Right handed Guitar. 🎸💯🎸
@@TheBEEFBOY I've Only seen You Play Right handed, yet, It could be the lettering on your Amp that appears to be backwards. Usually when someone is making a video of themselves, you have the camera on a Selfie setting, as opposed to someone else recording you. I noticed when you sitting down playing, appeared to be from the left side. That's why I thought you were Ambidextrous...
@@TheBEEFBOY I Still Didn't Know you were a Lefty... However I'm also Ambidextrous, and My Mother played guitar and my Uncle still plays. When my Mom was teaching me to play, she wouldn't allow me to use a pic, and after 2 weeks my thumb blistered up so badly, I quit. I learned that your thumb produced a different sound. But regretted not sticking with it, and only have the ability to tinker around with the Big and Little E strings. I Favor the Lead Guitar and the Drums. My mom taught me how to play drums, yet, I'm not even considered to be a rank amateur. Lol
