    Yep, I missed Red Lotus Flame King Crime. It's not direct RDA support, but it may as well be. It's pretty good for tuning with Soul Resonator and milling normal traps
    Also, looking back at this now, Red Dragon Archfiend wins in Recovery more definitively. I overestimated the Floating of Stardust compared to the frequent resurrection RDA is capable of. So Red Dragon Archfiend would 'win' the grading scale
    Thank you all for the support on this video, and for sticking with me despite the mistakes I make in these videos. I'm still learning and doing my best to keep improving with every one

      According to the manga Red lotus king flame crime it's a Jack Atlas monster and an RDA monster.
      I really like this video and it's nice to see rda Vs stardust. I really would like to see a series of matches with just their cards in order to see who is really the strongest. I think rda but without proof it's hard to say

    Fun trivia: The newest tuner from Terminal Revenge, Shining Star Dragon, can be used to set up a Calamity lock (provided they won't ban it yet) on your opponent's turn
    It can also help Stardust Synchron decks to keep Synchro climbing into Cosmic Quasar
    Also, a message for budget players (like me) who can't afford Red Lotus King: The structure deck has got you covered thanks to Moonstar. He can serve as a temporary replacement until you can buy Flame Crime

    One thing I might add is how also you want to add other supports and engines into the Archetypes.
    Stardust + Junk + Synchron have the great adaptability to benefit from a lot of external help from moderns archetypes like Adventure, The Bystials and even a bit of Sinful Spoil with Diabellstar with the Spell card that allow you to summon a lvl 1 Fire from your deck specifically Jet Synchron. I didn't tried with Centurion but they can be a good addition but it's a bit hard to pull them off because of their requirement that you have to normal or play the field spell. Still one of the greatest strength of the deck is to be able to abuse the very large palette of Synchro monsters that the game can offer and it can end with a gigantic board of boss monsters that is hard to topple unless you take a DRNM.
    One thing regarding Crimson Dragon is that it's effect can be used to summon (and I don't stress enough) any Synchro Dragon as long you have another Synchro with the matching level and doesn't have the clause like Cosmic Quasar Dragon : "Must first be Synchro Summoned with the above materials". So you can cheat out any of the lvl 12 Cosmics Synchros Dragons if you play right. One of my favorite combo is using Synchro World to raise Shooting Majestic Star Dragon to raise level to 12 use Crimson Dragon and using it's effect to summon Cosmic Blazar Dragon.
    RDA and Resonator is a bit more restricted because of the DARK Dragon Synchro limit but it can benefit a lot of the Bystial Supports especially Bystial Dispaster & Centurion. Which are great extenders and with the help of Centurion can properly setup a play to use Crimson Dragon into Red Supernova or Cosmic Blazar Dragon when you Synchro Centur-ion Auxilia (which is a lvl 12 Synchro Dark Dragon) who setups the Centurion engine with the Field Spell. For Bystials, Dispater is the best friend of Red Zone, because of how they complement their utility because if Dispater is banished you can can bring it back with Red Zone and Dispater have the ability to summon any LIGHT or DARK that are banished (Hello RDA).
    One very great monster that can be added and is central piece of what I call the [Red Zone loop] is a common from Ignition Assault : Obessive Uvualoop. A Friend lvl 4 Tuner which can be search by Soul Resonator or dumped by Bone Archfiend and have the effect of special itself by banishing a Synchro from field or GY and if in GY, can banish a Synchro from field or GY, add it to hand. It's a once per turn but both effect can be used on the same turn and this is basically what create a loop each turn that cycle between Uvualoop banishing the Dark Synchros and using the effect of Pater & Red Zone to bring them back.
    One card that has been forgot to be mentionned is [Red Lotus King, Flame Crime], it's basically a card that was used by Jack in the manga, but it's effect is that you can setup Red Reign on the field for these points :
    * if you control a Fiend Tuner, or your opponent controls a Special Summoned monster (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
    * If this card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material: You can send 1 Normal Trap from your Deck to the GY.

    I think you’re giving Stardust too much credit. RDA has more recovery simply because bone archfiend, scarred, red zone and Crimson gaia exists as well as the fact the red rising isn’t once per turn. Stardust at most have floaters and more versatility.
    Also, pure RDa has seen more representation that Stardust in the current meta, although some with archetype mix, but nonetheless even those strategies highly rely on the RDA core to set up their turn board and end the games

    • @MattTGM
      @MattTGM  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you're right about thr recovery. I put too much emphasis on the floating of Stardust and less on the revival of RDA. I'll hold my hands up, that one is wrong
      Just another reason I'm getting rid of the grading numbers, haha

    I'm a big fan of stardust. I greatly appreciate it. One thing that troubles me is when the protagonist deck in the real life card game isn't as strong as the rivals. Good example is dark magician vs blue-eyes. Dark magician deck has a good reason to be powerful than the blue eyes deck. And in all honesty, not looking forward to the new blue eyes support.

    • @MattTGM
      @MattTGM  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can understand that. But hey, at least dark magician has Dragoon

    • @marcusbollar1960
      @marcusbollar1960 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MattTGM yeah true but they can make better powerful support. Dragoon is the only useful fusion of that archetype.

    • @MattTGM
      @MattTGM  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @marcusbollar1960 on a high power level, yeah. But you can get mileage out of the lower level ones in more casual play
      I will say though. If you run Dragoon, you have no choice but to summon him as soon as possible, or you're deliberately handicapping yourself. So your DM deck may as well become Dragoon turbo

    • @pkswordsaga3967
      @pkswordsaga3967 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why not? In the anime the rivals are usually done injustice. It just makes it fair that actual rival decks in the real card game is better for equal representation.
