I think it's more down to the composer, Hideki had alot more involvement from the 2nd game onwards. I think Yuki Iwai was the reason it had the classic cps2 sound in alot of songs

For some reason, in Japanese media, the letter W has come to stand for "double." I have absolutely no idea why other than the fact that the word and the letter sound similar. Putting it simply, it's a Japan thing. :)

The stage is the Mediterranean Sea, the red color is due to a solar eclipse about to happen or some crazy stuff like that.
