Agreed on a different movement. However, just install a modified Calibre 403 -way less power reserve into their watches. The caveat is Oris will charge even more, which puts a potential purchaser like me with a dilemma: don't buy an Oris as I already have enough Selitta SW200 watches or pay a bit more for a better movement...(not more than 300 chf£€ ? OK).
That Lug system they have will forever be a no buy zone. They need to change that. There’s nothing special or nice looking about it. In fact it looks stupid and makes it impossible to buy straps outside of ORIS.
