I think Florence Pugh would make for an interesting video! I think she’s in the natural family maybe even SN. Would be super interesting to hear your opinions cause she’s gone through quite a variety of looks and hairstyles!
I like FP but she needs a stylist that dresses her to her appropriate type because sometimes she looks amazing and sometimes she looks like she’s playing dress up and her clothes are wearing her.
@@louisar4227 I’d agree! She definitely has some softness to her frame but overall the width is undeniable. Also imo if you look at pictures of her in natural lines she looks the best by far
Absolutly. I thougt immediately, that she is a perfect example for dramatics. Tall with narrow features and this special vibe, the opposite of an average person.
I would love a video about how to dress more feminine, masculine, and androgynous for the body types, that would be really interesting and give great insight into playing yin and yang up and down.
Glad you took my suggestion! I have a similar body type to her so I was curious what you had to say on her and her style. I heard people say she had to be a yin type because of her eyes and even though they are a prominent feature, I don't think they are representative of her as a whole. Also I appreciate what you said on color blocking because some people say Dramatics can NEVER wear color blocks or cropped outfits, but I think it is okay and can be quite nice if it's well fitted like you said.
Hi Ali, I love the parts when you say "it's not for her, this dress would look much better on gamine/romantic/classic". Because sometimes I can see clearly that it doesn't complement her as a dramatic, but also can't figure out - who would this be good on? I'm a theatrical romantic so I think - maybe on me it would actually look great. But it's hard to tell, so yes, live those parts when you confirm whose lines are this and this dress, if not dramatic's 🥰
I have big favor to analyze Christina Aguilera - I haven't heard about her characteristic or maybe I missed it. I think her example is very interesting, because she is petite (1.57 m), she started in music industry as very slim and tiny, but gained the weight and overall look has changed. Christina tried many styles and -in my opinion- quite often it was overwhelming her natural beauty
Totally agree about her being Dramatic. Even at a higher weight she looked very dry, not voluptuous and I couldn't imagine her in SD lines. This video was super interesting. I love these videos of yours and Anya's style is particularly interesting, I like it.
I’ve seen photos of her at a higher weight she comes across as soft dramatic to me (she’s fleshy in the upper thighs). I think she’s a very low-weight soft dramatic (especially in the photos you have chosen ). I’m a soft dramatic as well, and when I get very low and weight for my height (5’7” 115 lbs for example), I can be confused for something else.
Agree entirely. She seems D to me as well. Both visually and energetically/vibe wise. Her facial features are D as well. Overall she is very much D. I'd like this type of ID examples to prevail over Tilda i.e. that is usually used as D pin up. Tilda is styled certain way on photos used as en D example, she looks so much more non-androgynous when styled differently. Anya, Milla, Cate B., Lauren B., Katherine H. J.L.Curtis and even Taylor S. are much better examples. The same goes for other archetype pin ups. SD is not just Sophia L., C is not just Grace K. there are many others, both vintage and contemporary examples.
please please PLEASE take a peek at florence pugh. i see people up in arms all over the internet about her body type and whether her red carpet looks are flattering or not. but i am most interested to see her because she has some weight or maybe some broadness, i'm not sure. i feel that so often kibbe examples are very thin or plus size, with few in between.
interesting..I've seen her typed as a thin Soft Dramatic or a Dramatic. Also, it's tough to go by her facial features because allegedly she's had a lot of facial plastic surgery. I think she's beautiful tho & love her rocker style! And I take what I can as a Soft Dramatic myself.
Yes, I believe Lorry Hill did a video on Anya that talked about buccal fat removal. You can see in this video that she used to have a little more weight on her.

The costumes use geometrics very heavily (checkered pattern, plaids, etc.) which goes well with dramatics. If I remember correctly, she wears lots of 1950s lines when she is young, which she looks somewhat awkward in until she goes for more sharply tailored garments. During her peak she wears modified 1960s flamboyant gamine lines which generally blend well with her elongated and sharp bones.
Love this new series. This is exactly how I think celebrities can be such a style resource! I think Natalie Portman and Rooney Mara would be interesting. Monica Bellucci, and Jennifer Lopez please
@alyart can you please do a breakdown on Queen Elizabeth the second? I predict she is a gamine or soft gamine but I find her style so iconic and would love it if you can investigate for us!
I think she's more on the romantic end, she gets lost in those boxy skirt suits she wore but I think they gave her presence and stature. If you look at pictures of her as a younger woman, in more fitted dresses, she looks so juicy and fresh!
It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on Kourtney Kardashian's Kibbe type.
