Otherwise, due to the different FEV strains, we just don't know, we merely know they are sterile.

When hunting you of course field-dress the carcass, but then you want to leave it hang for a few days with the skin on, and a couple more after skinning, all in a refrigerated environment, to allow the natural enzymes to break down part of the muscle fiber. The resulting meat is SO MUCH more tender, not gamey at all. Falling-apart tender venison steaks.... it's as much in the processing as it is in the cooking.

You know I’ve seen a lot of people say he’s the most boring super mutant companion because he’s not like Fawkes who’s kind or quirky as hell and schizophrenic like Lily. But that’s precisely what I like about Strong. I don’t always want a companion who pats me on the back all the time when I do good and judges me when I do bad lol sometimes I like a companion who just exists, who’s true to themselves. It’s why my favorite companions tend to be Ghouls like Charon and Raul. Even Hancock in fallout 4 isn’t always true to himself. When you first meet him he gives the impression he’s this ruthless crime boss but when he’s in your party he tends to be on the softer side. With strong you know what you’re getting 100% of the time with him

I downloaded mods to add Milk of Human Kindness and Milk Machine armor like at the end of the video and delivered both to him even though I don't use him anymore. He deserves them.
Out of curiosity, does milk physically appear in any of the Fallout games?

@@davidhong1934yes, you can order Brahmin milk from Lydia in fallout 2, therefore Brahmin cheese is potentially feasible. I imagine you could make tatos (or regular tomatoes if you consider the fallout series canon, which I believe Bethesda does) into some form of sauce, razorgrain could probably be made into dough, and there’s no shortage of exotic meats to use as toppings. I believe fallout pizza is a large possibility should the knowledge of pizza been passed down through the years

He became mayor at age 9 and regularly dealt with super mutants that wandered too close to his settlement.
It makes sense strong sees leadership and him being able to take on super mutants earned strong's respect lol 😂
He's like the first actual "super mutant" companion. Marcus and Fawks were intelligent and more civilized, freaks amongst the super mutant species. Strong is as super mutant as they come.
marcus was standard for the masters army. Fawks is what happens when a pure human (one not exposed to radiation) is supposed to be like when exposed to fev. Bethesda seen big green monsters and said they all have to be stupid.

If you destroy the prydwen with strong as your companion, he says something along the lines of "I knew building would fall!"
I just enjoy strong over all. When entering Institute raided places, he will comment on needles and protecting the sole survivor from experimentation which i find too be sweet but extremely sad. He remembers being experimented on. I wish there was an option to explain the metaphor behind the milk of human kindness and show him that ny collaboration with human beings and their overall intelligence and engenuity, super mutatns woukd be stronger.
If they expanded on Strong, I would enjoy it if they would have Strong give small parts about his past life, perhaps in a way where Strong thinks that it’s just Day dreaming.
However your explanation of Milk of human kindness would be perfect for the conclusion of his current story.

Even though everyone shits on FO4 compared to NV, I personally love the FO4 companions more.
Personally they felt equal to me. Although the quests in fallout 4 felt more repetitive so it's hard to get them when you could always main that one dude. (but still only get 1 line of unique dialogue every 3 hours)
As for new Vegas the quests were a bit better and the companions actually felt like they made a difference but personality wise pretty equal.

I made a custom settlement in the glowing see by the church that's semi-submerged and filled with a small WW1 inspired trenchline/firebase with settlers to match. Constant warzone. I'd like to think he'd appreciate that.

Doesn’t matter, he likes when you kill hostiles like raiders or gunners. The notification just never pops up. You can piss him off with lockpicking all game, if you killed enough raiders you’re still on his good side and you’ll get his perk anyway. Worked for me.
@@megalodon4586 Didn't work for me. Guy practically was ready to leave about 30 mins into me picking him up. Ive tried using him 4 different times and all four times he got fed up and left within about an hour of gameplay. I'm done bothering with him.
Strong apparently ADORES it when you build in the Settlement Build mode.
I didn't know this until I'd finished several days work on a settlement. When I went to go back into combat, he suddenly idolized my character.
My favorite is when you switch from Strong to Macready. Strong Will actually say that he thinks Macready is a good fighter, which I find quite an interesting tidbit.
He's the mayor of little lamplight In fallout 3, the lamplighter had to defend their home from constant waves of supermutants emerging from the vault. He spent his entire childhood fighting Strong's kin, that's why he thinks that.
There is no one else in the game that'll be that experienced when dealing with mutants. Except for maybe some of the BoS but they're all in tank suits, all Maccready had was a shitty rifle he found and a Halloween costume of a soldier.

I have an idea for a "movie"....
I love Strong. When we get super mutant companions they're usually of higher intelligence. With the exception of Lily who is suffering from mental illness from stealth boy use.
Strong on the other hand is your average super mutant. Yet has been convinced to work with humans. We get a good insight of the average mutants life without the master as a source of reverence. A good chunk of the master's mutants might be glad an institute scientist is working on a cure. Strong on the meanwhile hates the idea. Its great seeing such massive view change from new mutants perspective.

If you use power armour, you'll need to send Strong away to one of your other settlements. Putting it on pisses him off, just as it gives Danse a little synthetic woody. It's something you'll need to do regularly to keep your armour repaired, so don't have him in town.

Strong was my second favorite companion. Id use him in every run I did. I don't use Power Armor, so that's not an issue. And he rarely complained about the things I did. Don't know why so many people had issues with the big guy.
I think strong should have had a side quest were you and him have to fight through a dairy factory to obtain the only bottle of milk left in Boston and you convince him its the genuine milk of human kindness
“The only bottle of milk” Brahmin milk exists, milk bottles are already a thing, and also I doubt any milk that was pasteurized pre war would still be in a liquid state 😭 Still though, would have loved to have a quest of some sort

I might have actually used Strong if he had an actual resolution to his quest. I’d have liked to teach him what the “milk” really means and that the key to super mutant success is to stop eating humans and work with them.
Imagine if he could eventually convince a small portion of the super mutant population to work with humanity? And we could integrate them into a single settlement where they would actually work with humans for the benefit of both?

I never used Strong much because he always gets pissy when you lockpick, loot, or upgrade weapons/armor which is 90% of my play style. The few times I have had him as my companion I’ve had to take the Cannibal Perk just to keep from losing so many respect points that he ends up hating me.
Apparently, this is unnecessary. Just take him into a raider base and kill whatever moves. Strong likes when you kill hostiles, it’s just never said in a notification for some reason.
Strong also likes it when you help settlements for whatever reason, which is how I generally maxed/increased affinity with him, lol

You know what’s weird to think about? Since FEV makes Super Mutants Sterile and you can’t even tell their s3x from an autopsy, like they just lose those parts, there’s a fair chance Strong was a woman before being mutated.

Actually they don't lose the parts in fallout 2 you can have your super mutant companion sleep with a prostitute and he says he's sterile but it takes a while "to get the juices flowing again"
I think because of the high testosterone, male and female parts disappear
