I agree, Levi is getting a bit jealous. The thunder shirt is a great idea, better than the cone of shame, or other methods to keep him from messing with the stitches. Lucky is just talking up a storm while he is the center of attention.
I think of all the videos that I replay every day or every other day this has been #1. Loved Lucky in this Thunder shirt but also loved the howling, Levi pacing like a sentry/guardian . ❤. 💕🥰
Had to watch it to “refresh” my memory… that one is extra special, the fact it was only 4 days after the surgery. I will definitely do a SHORTS version at some point, got lots more time now with yard work dwindling down. I’m curious, do you watch the SHORTS? 🐾😍🐾
@@SchnauzersNatureyes!! I do watch the shorts. You know however that I love schnauzers and will always watch anything you post whenever I see it on my list. I LOVE birds too / subscribe to various TH-camrs who film birds. ( I sent a message when you saw the N. Cardinal in the yard). Location: vg in the Midwest. For dogs I have at least 6 YT favs. My interests are varied but like I said in one of my first messages here, my mother had a M.Schnauzer decades ago. Looked so much like Levi; must admit I have a soft spot in ❤ for Lucky. Ever vigilant Levi and his vocal brother are always in my heart💖💕
One other thought. You thought Levi would go into the water after the geese or ducks. Mom’s dog did surprise us by heading into a small lake after ducks. Great memory for me 😄

Way before I started doing videos, we let the boys out in the driveway UNLEASHED during the winter, Levi picked up a scent and followed it, would not come back to us when called. He ran up the driveway, crossed the road (fortunately no cars at the time… whew), continued up the driveway of the neighbors, and there waiting for him was a huge golden retriever, and he stopped right in his tracks. That’s when I was able to catch up to him. If that dog wasn’t there, Levi would have probably kept going. The whole time Lucky stayed behind with Ed. That’s why I don’t want take another chance of having Levi unleashed outside their fenced area. Lucky, on the other hand can be unleashed, as you’ve seen in a few videos. 🐾😍🐾
Just realize I haven’t watched one of these videos on this channel for a while. Glad to be seeing them again. I’m glad to be watching them again. Oh I love lucky and Levi. They are so cute Levi. Especially he reminds me of my sisters, former dog Keegan, who is also a mini miniature schnauzer passed away April 4, 2023. And lucky actually reminds me of my two former Whites, Dodgers Gus and Addie especially reminds me of my little girl Addie as he resembles her the most and a he’s been gone for quite a while now she passed in 2013. I hope the boys are doing well. I hope they’re happy and healthy as I see from the video. It seems like they are.
Do Lucky & Levi have “dental tissues”? My Mini Schnauzer had MANY teeth pulled because of recurrent Gingivitis. Is this an expectant problem with schnauzers?
I've owned 5 schnauzers and they've never had issues with gingivitis. The vet says that like humans, dogs' teeth require brushing often and professional cleaning annually. Unfortunately, that has gotten extremely expensive (nearly doubled in cost in the last 4 years), not to mention the impact of anesthesia effects on them. We brush their teeth often, and they also get vet recommended dental chews every week or so. Their last annual checkup, the teeth were in very good shape, so the plan is to hold off the professional cleaning for another year due to the costs/anesthesia effects. Hope this info helps. 🐾😍🐾
