    Should I do this whilst wearing my glasses or without? Can they help improve sight to gradually get rid of glasses? If I don’t wear my glasses my thumb won’t come into focus at all. But I want to train myself without glasses.

    How often should one do these exercises? I am having jaw issues and vision disturbance

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for reaching out with your question! Generally, I suggest doing these exercises a few times a week to start, so your body can gradually adapt to new patterns without feeling overwhelmed. If you find them beneficial and comfortable, you can increase the frequency as it feels right for you.
      For jaw issues and vision disturbances, these gentle, awareness-based movements can help by easing tension in the nervous system, which often has a positive effect on the areas you’re experiencing discomfort in. Just go slowly, stay attuned to how each movement feels, and remember that small, consistent efforts can make a big difference over time. Let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

    Feldenkrais isn't exercise. Moshe called them lessons for a reason

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes i am well aware of that distinction. My teaching is influenced by Feldenkrais Method and many others, and incorporates many principles from Feldenkrais Method as well as martial arts. I never intend to teach people Feldenkrais Method here, but i intend to influence peoples life in a positive way using all my knowledge and experience. Thus, I call it "Feldenkrais Style".

    I would like to watch this video, but almost 9 minutes is too much time.
    Does it really need to be 8 minutes plus???

    • @TaroIwamoto
      @TaroIwamoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      you can skip the intro and go right into exercise, and you don't have to do all 3 exercises at once. You can do only 1 exercise if you'd like, which will take about 1 minute or so. If you do them all slowly with quality attention, I would say it'll take about 5 to 7 minutes. For this video, I had to explain how to do these exercises, what to look for, the purpose of exercises in addition to demonstrating them. I promise I tried my best to make this video as short and concise as I could, so I apologize if this is still too long for you.
