I just did these exercises and the pressure I felt from my right eye was unbelievable, followed by a lot of tears. Wow. I'll let you know how I feel as I keep doing these for a few day, thank you so much!
I love this! Opticians have been telling me for years that neck pain/headaches are not related to eyestrain..i've come to this via other of your videos and it's/thy're really practical and helpful.
Thank you. I am a big fan of yours. I liked the squatting exercise so much i started the practice daily and I can see the difference. Thank you once again Sir
Great video as always. Do you have any vision tips to reduce eye floaters, or to somehow make them less annoying at all..? Don't worry if not, but thought it's worth asking 🙂
I did your eye exercises for the first time. I have a pretty steep near sightedness and wear glasses. But I tried these without glasses and tried closer distance. Thank you so much sensei!
Thank you so much. I tend to accumulate tension in my neck and now I realize that eye strain definitely contributes to it. These exercises provided immediate, noticeable relief. Amazing.
Great flexibility for the hips! Glad to have found you - I did Bartenieff Fundamentals and Feldenkrais in my dance program decades ago - I didn't realize how much I missed it! Thanks!
I did these techniques holding my phone in my hand, using your video instead of my thumb as the guide. That way I did the techniques in sync with you! Hehe
Should I do this whilst wearing my glasses or without? Can they help improve sight to gradually get rid of glasses? If I don’t wear my glasses my thumb won’t come into focus at all. But I want to train myself without glasses.
Thanks for reaching out with your question! Generally, I suggest doing these exercises a few times a week to start, so your body can gradually adapt to new patterns without feeling overwhelmed. If you find them beneficial and comfortable, you can increase the frequency as it feels right for you. For jaw issues and vision disturbances, these gentle, awareness-based movements can help by easing tension in the nervous system, which often has a positive effect on the areas you’re experiencing discomfort in. Just go slowly, stay attuned to how each movement feels, and remember that small, consistent efforts can make a big difference over time. Let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if you have more questions!
3rd exercise made my head and neck quite shaky. I have essential tremor in my head - should I do this? Does it add too much shaky in my neck? Or is it just good to do this?
wow. relief is immediate. eye tension and neck tension relief. Thank You. do you have a mechanism for gifts. Id like to send you something for Christmas. i have benefited a lot from your knowledge.
yes i am well aware of that distinction. My teaching is influenced by Feldenkrais Method and many others, and incorporates many principles from Feldenkrais Method as well as martial arts. I never intend to teach people Feldenkrais Method here, but i intend to influence peoples life in a positive way using all my knowledge and experience. Thus, I call it "Feldenkrais Style".
you can skip the intro and go right into exercise, and you don't have to do all 3 exercises at once. You can do only 1 exercise if you'd like, which will take about 1 minute or so. If you do them all slowly with quality attention, I would say it'll take about 5 to 7 minutes. For this video, I had to explain how to do these exercises, what to look for, the purpose of exercises in addition to demonstrating them. I promise I tried my best to make this video as short and concise as I could, so I apologize if this is still too long for you.
@@TaroIwamoto 9 minutes to better mobility and improved quality of life is not too long. We have a lot to be thankful for especially during the Christmas holiday. Taro, keep the videos coming. You have nothing to apologize for.

have you tried my breath awareness video, and body scan video? They can help regulate the nervous system, so it can be a good place to start.
Good vid.
Trying now
Great!
How often should one do these exercises? I am having jaw issues and vision disturbance

Would you suggest doing these with glasses on or off
glasses off would be preferrable :)
Are these a daily exercise? That might be great information to add in videos. :)
would be nice to do this daily

honestly, I don't know. I would consult with your doctor.
Eye, ear, neurological overload.......you must have a DECOMPRESS EXERCISE.............................watching you for HOPE
It amazes me how doctors don’t have a clue about eye and neck connections. Even alot of pt’s

Glad to hear that. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate your kindness. Your comment is a gift for me, so thank you very much!
Instead of your thumb, I bet you could do these exercises with your cell phone. 😆
that works ok but that wont give you as much focus as a thumb
Feldenkrais isn't exercise. Moshe called them lessons for a reason

Why is 9 minutes too much? If u can’t sit and watch a video patiently for 9 minutes you have other issues u need to deal with
