    Go Cats 2024 remember 89,92,94,95 but now so blessed and happy to see all these flags since 07

      Malcolm Blight did miracles in some of those years just to get us to the big dance. But yeah, still hurts that we couldn't pinch one at least. Funnily enough, I think 1993 was the one that really got away. By the end of the H&A season, we really looked like the best team in it.

      It is, and it's a shame that they couldn't have broken the drought a decade or so earlier (probably should have). Having said that, there are at least 7 longer Premiership droughts in AFL history, with the Swans still holding the record.

      Yep. Brian had a very good point. Especially as we all know, Port beat Geelong in Geelong only a few weeks earlier. What else could explain such an insane turnaround? They were absolutely shellshocked. I think being over-relaxed definitely was a factor.
