Interview #19 with Cameron Ahouse

I spoke with Cameron Ahouse, the community marketing manager at @rhone apparel. He is a former football player and has applied the skills he's learned through sports to his career.
He speaks about his experiences with athletetic identity, body dysmorphia, finding community, and how he built up to speaking with a therapist. He shares how his journey has had its bumps and setbacks, but being able to establish a willingness to start conversations has contributed to great progress.
We discuss the stigma surrounding mental health and sharing your struggles, especially for men. It can be scary to reach out for the first time and feel like a sign of weakness, but it is one of the bravest and strongest things you can do! Take that first step. It'll be worth it!
