I've just started the video, but I wanted to just say could really hear the Irish come through when you said the movie title lol. Nice man, I'm Scottish. Tbh I'm only watching this to see what people think of this compared to the series!
also to me, I guess it's the similarities in tone with the Irish accent to Scottish but I didn't need subs, although I do know a lot of Irish people, acht who knows, it's still fuckin brilliant either way
@@BrandoCritic haha yeah I know what you mean. I speak a couple languages and going to those countries I feel that when I switch back to my native tongue I have tinges of the accent there for a while. You should really watch the series of the show as well, there's two now and of course it started with what was made into the film but there is so much more to it, I'd highly recommend it
Hi Brandon! thanks for the review. I have watched two Irish movies; Far and Away (1992) starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, and Grabbers (2012) starring Killian Coyle, Stuart Graham. I like them both. The first one is drama, romance, and the second is kind of adventure, comedy.
I have a joint one with MovieFiles on his channel this Saturday and Sunday! Saturday for Avengers: Infinity War and Sunday for Avengers: Endgame. Then probably another one for me next week sometime!
@@BrandoCritic you're one of the only people I've talked to who has seen it,btw it's geekcollector for some reason I haven't changed my TH-cam account name
The Field In Bruges The Guard Intermission The Commitments, The Snapper, The Van (the Barrytown Trilogy) Into The West War of the Buttons Angela's Ashes Adam and Paul Grabbers

I enjoyed the movie for sure! I love both the Irish and Scottish accents. But yeah, once I am in both spots, then I pickup the accent pretty quick
