This was a much easier way to solve it then i did, when i saw it i jumped straight to setting f(x) = x(ax^2 + bx + c) and getting 3 equations in terms of a b and c using f(1), f(2) and the fact that b^2 -4ac = 0 from the repeated root. Although the time i used was not worth 4-marks i was still happy with my solution.
That's a cool solution too
The TH-cam 'Short' display is blocking part of the question. The word "dislike" is in front of a key value. Even if it were apparent, I probably would have been wrong.😢
