Any genealogy from Rincon? lots " books" are not available for this area. I think the church has not released them or they were destroyed by natural disasters. I'm looking for info of that area for 1700's 1800's . Also looking for any historical books for the area if you know of any. Or if you know of any historians of the area.
My ancestor Juan Ximenez Garcia was married first to Ana Maria Birriel Betancourt. His second wife was my ancestor Maria Ramos. I am el gigante’s family through the Candoso etc.
@@1969floridagirl I have the book of marriages 1857-1899 (not public), I have a few of the town census from the 1820's to the 1860's (also not public), and the Notas para su Historia by Walter a Cardona Bonet (public).
I'm also very interested in any information from Rincón, geneology and history. I would like to learn more about my grandparent's great grandparents, all from Rincón, mostly from barrio Jagüey. @@1969floridagirl

Thought Limpieza de sangre was legally turning a black to white. Cleansing of blood.
That is a good guess but no, a limpieza de sangre document was proof that ancestors were old christians.
