Lotta folks both agreeing but mostly disagreeing with my stance on the crafting, and I suppose a lot of creators are giving really slapstick reasons as to why the crafting is bad (I try not to watch other reviews to keep mine totally my own), so I probably shoulda dove a bit deeper into that. Before I go on, let me know WHY you think crafting is a good system, I want to see how folks are using it! In my opinion, the crafting seems like a secondary thought. It's not a ripper doc, it's not a gun store or even a food stand, it's just straight up in your characters pants I guess. For SURE this isn't an RPG where crafting components add heaps of carry weight where you're forced to store it at a base, so it makes sense in some regards that they kept it simplistic, but in that case I feel like it became almost too overpowered (easily) for such a basic concept of crafting. I saw a few people saying I couldn't compare this games crafting to Skyrim or Fallout cause those are big, almost survival focused, RPG's. That's why I compare this to the Outer Worlds, which HAD survival but not in the same way. Outer Worlds had a great way of implementing crafting, it wasn't particularly NEEDED, but man, if you knew what you were doing, you could friggin clean house with your crafted/modified weapons. Which, by the way, needed a crafting station to do any of that stuff. I might've been a bit harsh with how I view crafting, but I'm not backing down from that stance, I just feel like it's not good. It doesn't drag the game down any, but for a game that has an entire skill tree with two separate "branches" dedicated to crafting and engineering, it feels very watered down and unbalanced. I'm not saying you can't craft fantastic items (even I wanted them upgraded iconics, they're amazing!) I'm saying that the system itself just feels lazy. Totally my opinion though, this is a game of massive choices which means each person experiences something totally different and unique, and I respect your thoughts and opinions as they help me shape my own!
Preface by saying that I'm rather biased against crafting mechanics in singleplayer open world games. They tend to destroy balance, devalue loot, and bends immersion. In CP2077, V is a merc with a lot of problems to solve, so why are they able to make the best small arms in the world from easily obtainable components and no manufacturing facilities, as a part time hobby? The only thing I use crafting for is upgrading iconics to legendary, or crafting iconics that have no other source. The crafting system as currently designed is annoying to use, super exploitable, and offers nothing truly unique. The way they did it with iconics was refreshing, but the game still would have been better if it had been an upgrade and customization system, not full on crafting guns and armor from "components". The idea being that instead of just making some super weapon from scratch, you can take any weapon and really make it special with enough work and resources. Here's what I think the crafting system should have been: 1. Upgrade quality, change damage types, and add mod slots to existing items. 2. Reskin and customize your gear and vehicles. 3. Craft weapon/armor mods.
The bullshit part of crafting is that...I dont want to do it, but I get weak ass weapons the whole time. The game said I can spend my "dirty money" on cool stuff. I had 200,000 eddies and nothing to spend it on besides cars.... stuck with weapons for 6 levels because I couldn't find anything stronger. Not even the vendors had any good shit. After going to 10+ gun stores, I found one legendary that was abit powerful than my main gun (this happens with clothes and armor too). So I said fuck it and dumped 10 points into tech, so I wouldn't be so fucking weak. That shouldn't happen. If I have the money, I should be able to buy to best stuff to make up for it. If I go with crafting, I should be able to craft the best stuff for the low amount of money I have. The game fails to be that rpg like other games that done it much better. It needs an overhaul.
Crafting would be amazing if these two things happened. 1. Change how we find/acquire blueprints (ESPECIALLY clothing mods. Where in the fuck is the fortuna blueprint?!?!?!) 2. Nerf the fuck outta the damage. Like, even going pure very hard from the very beginning and playing a contagion build was way too easy. SLOW, but that made sense. Now with ultimate ping and contagion, enemies are just gacha rolls for blueprints.
I don't know if I'd call it an afterthought so much as it's completely under-developed, much like every other system in the game. Driving with it's pre 2003 mini-map issue, npcs ai unable to path well enough to keep up to the PC like a little game called the Witcher 3 made a genre standard 5 years ago, the wanted system that GTA 3 laughs at. The static random encounters with no emergent gameplay/radiant questing. etc

Finally a TH-camr review that isn’t just capitalizing off the intense hate to get views. You were very fair in your review and I for one appreciate that
Also let's not forget that one of the defining features of a desert is its emptiness... This is like walking into the Sahara and complaining that god or whoever didn't put enough interesting content in it.

its not just about the bugs, its the lack of content, ive also finished all 6 endings and i have no more reason to play the game, the open world is jsut dead, street vendors that have 2 lines, why the fuck are they even there if they cant seel you the food? and where are the animations? you jsut gulp everything, not even opening a car dor has an animation, its just sloppy and this video got it wrong at the end when he said "we expected" a next gen expirience,we didnt ,they advertised it,they told us it will be mind-blowing new mechanics/customization and there are barely any,why didnt they make your character change looks when you modify your body with cyberware, that should have been the first thing!!!!!!! the more cyberware you add the more you look like a robot, very dissapointed by this game, again we have to wait for rockstar to raise the bar even higher ,like they did with red dead redemption 2
@@lorandd.9126 I agree with you, the game does have a lot of problems beyond the bugs, and thats exactly my point, instead of ppl focusing on the core problems of the game they just talk about the bugs and the controversy and stock prices, the bugs will be ironed out with time but we really need to let them know what the real problems with the game are. I personally have over 140 hours in the game, created 2 characters and tried all endings, i didnt really have high expectations for the game but i love games that let me try out a lot of different builds, so i intend to play a lot more (: as for red dead redemption 2 ive never been much fan of rockstar games, but i see what you mean in terms of production quality, but since the 2 games and companies are so different from one another, i dont think its a fair comparison
@@MexusGameplays companies are different and so its not a fair comaprison? thats like saying dont compare a bmw with an audi because these companies are so different, NO , quality is quality,no matter where it comes from, its either good or its either bad period. They need to add alot of content to this game to make it at least close to GTA4 in terms of AI and open world interactivity. The game was great but the open world of the game was trash and thats 60% of the game. If you dont do the story in cyberpunk there is nothing you can do and i mentioned red dead redemption 2 because they first created the world in that game, made sure its alive and then they created the story, now that is 300 IQ DEVS. Cyberpunk shoulda been a small world story focused game and it woulda been better but its not its "wide as an ocean and deep as a pudle" in terms of the open world, when you finish the game its over, there is no more reason to play that game, other then just site seeing.
@@lorandd.9126 Sure but i mean you cant expect every single game company to compete with the "quality" of rockstar, how do you even measure "quality" in games ? Is it graphics ? Gameplay ? Story ? Huge open worlds ? I think there are a lot of variables to just say "quality is quality", games are experiences, and everyone has a different one, and despite Cyberpunk having a lot of issues im still having a good experience with it, sure the open world might not be very extensive rn and thats exactly why i said that more ppl should be talking about this instead of the other things i listed, so that cdpr can keep improving it, along with all the other stuff in the game that either still needs to be added or fixed. But rn im pretty sure that their focus is entirely set on fixing the game so then they can start adding new stuff, heres hoping that when they implement the multiplayer feature theyll have it all figured out
I kinda misunderstood the choices so when I got that ending and Misty sees the Arasaka vehicle picking V up and said "You've changed, for the worse" I felt so guilty that I betrayed my friends
I wish you could set it so it didn't keep auto-tracking the main quest. But I do like that you can finish the main quest early like that.. to me it's kind of realistic. Because you can rush things in real life too, but the outcomes you get from doing so may not be the greatest ones. I know from rushing the first time (I didn't really realize there was no post-game and that it would just re-load) that depending on what you choose, sure, you've "beaten" the game.. but you get left feeling kinda dirty if you do it like that. Currently on my second (which I've also beaten and maxed out level and done a lot of side content) and now third playthroughs where I've taken my time and done a lot more of the stuff after the Meet Hanako mission. And it felt crazy to me that there was so much "side" stuff that felt like it could have been main quest type material that I had completely missed the first time through.
I'm actually having a lot of fun with this game, literally only because I had no expectations at all. After I finish my first play through I'm gunna put it on the shelf for 6 months or so and try it again after. I'm sure this will become a great game once it's finished.
true dude. i had no expectations and love it. like you said once im done completeing everything on my first playthrough, ill try another playthrough once some updates and dlc come out
Hmm..." I'm sure this will become a great game once it's finished ". It SHOULD be finished already :v It's not MMO like World of Warcraft. They can add some features in DLC but don't expect some crazy content patches in base game.
@@Sengg0 an answer to both of these points is tho, life parts actually don't matter at all, it's just the start of the game and some dialogue options that don't actually effect the outcome of anything, and character customization is actually very limited, it's mostly just preset parts mashed on to a base face slab. And overall thr customization in this game is very lackluster, was kinda hoping for a little more from that end of the game, but the rest of it was very good imho.
@@Catwomxn That's because it's incredibly bland in the beginning. From the first music video montage I couldn't help but think...fucking really? To be fair the whole game could be boring as fuck but I wouldn't know.
The internet's reaction to this game is something else. Here we have a game that sold 13 million copies, and you cannot discuss the actual content of the game at all, no one's doing it, because as soon as you try to about 20 angry assholes start coming out of the woodwork from all directions to tell you how the game is an unplayable blunder of the century mess and you are literally not allowed to enjoy it in any way shape or form.
You're telling me! Playing this thing on Stadia, the experience isn't ideal to any degree, but the game is still breathtaking for me. Don't get me wrong, I get how people have been slighted, CDPR haven't done themselves any favors lately... But at the same time, the hype was overwhelming. I mostly disengaged from it and decided to just gauge it with neutral eyes. Lovely game, but not revolutionary.
OR you're not allowed to say a single thing negative. Got told my review was crap and fake because bugs don't happen to people with good enough graphics cards. That doesn't even make sense. So frustrating to have such a massive divide in the community where the middle ground is just a toxic battle.

I really enjoyed this review. An Honest, I put my time into this game and here is what I think, review. I can't wait to see what they do with cyberpunk and I hope they do something because the possibility is endless.
I was able to finish the game in like 40 hours, but once they remove the kinks and I upgrade my pc I can easily see another 100 hours being put into the game.
Alot of Kev's videos are funny and silly but when he does an honest review you can tell he really means what he puts into his vids... and he keeps them funny :)
I know they will go back and fix it but the damage is already done.develpers need to get there shit together because there has been 100s of games with bugs.
I did the same thing, saving reloading and changing responses, you tend to get an extra line of dialogue then it swerves back into the previous sentence on the last save. The illusion of choice.
I've done this with every mission in the main quest (im not close to being done) and it feels very Fallout 4ish. It seems the only real decisions you can make in dialogue is avoiding fights
@@FireJach So the very ending of the game, whether or not you get a bike and...avoiding a fight, which doesn't matter because whether you kill him or not, the game moves on as of you didn't.
Ehhhh. No. Deus Ex is still a vastly superior game, right behind Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines in terms of writing and story-telling. Plus it actually explores the themes of the Cyberpunk genre; something this game does very rarely. This game is basically Far Cry in a cyberpunk coat, right down to the game play. Sure, gameplay might be better than Deus Ex but that's not saying much-I enjoy the gameplay in Mankind Divided and Human Revolution waaaay more than this generic perk system. At least cybernetics and augmentations meant something in those games and affected your playstyle. Really, the only thing Cyberpunk has is the open world, which is nice to look at but really empty. You can't even really interact with it. You've basically got the option to use vending machines and that's it. There isn't much to discover or find. It's just... A Cyberpunk sand box.
@@LightAndDarkMdness02 cyberpunk feels like Vampire the masquerade when that released (I played it when it came out). Very buggy and somewhat flawed. But yeah no shit Deus Ex is superior, this game is very similar tho. Very little interactivity with NPCs, story based. Etc
I honestly found the Badlands almost more enjoyable than the city, but only at night... Driving out there, seeing the occasional car, while looking up at the stars with that soulful country song playing, is something else entirely. I look forward to seeing this game fully fixed, and with more of its features added.
I can’t say I like 1 or the other more but I definitely like the badlands as it’s a nice change of pace and my favorite maps have always been ones with a good amount of diversity
In that, definitely agree with you. If you're not out to find something, just take in scenery, the night gives a really great view of the city, of the stars without all the lights.
Yeah it´s good but i don´t understand why nobody is talking about that V is a weak submissive character that do as others in this game tell him to do all the time. Also trans agenda is forced on you and noone want to take on that. To romance one character you have to be lesbian and there are gay options as well. Only one male and one female "joytoys" in town but dildos and twisted sex tools and ads are all over the place. Romeance is short, weak and awkward. Also when you talk to other characters they scream at you if you are silent just for 2-3 secons. I am sick an tired of that now after 60h+ gameplay. And those calls...And why does my character look like an idiot all the time? Why can´t i get some cool tactical gear with good stats and upgrade them to be even better when i lvl up? This game is a lootershooter with tons of useless and stupid gear. I agree with the rest of the review. I have fun but this is not the same game that was advertised.
@@vasionok They say its much fun besides the wrong prommises CDPR did what many people were expecting i still enjoy the game but wont play it 5 times because you got no choice and its always the same story and the lifepaths also dont matter much . @@observer3984 To be fair, it’s impressive enough that it’s an open world with no loading screens. Having every building accessible would probably have been too taxing on last gen hardware so they had to cut a lot of content from the game just so last gen owners would play the same game as next gen owners... If that makes sense. Kind of a slap to the face to be honest. Makes me curious about what the next gen update will hold.
"Today, I'm reviewing the actual game". Thank you! Never known a game release like this where it's impossible, even after watching many reviews, to get an idea of people think of the actual game, rather than the bugs and CDPR drama

Agreed. I beat it on ps4 pro normal with pistols and katanas. It got really easy fairly quick so now ill wait until I can do a shotgun/tech build on very hard and do literally everything. Ill squeeze out a stealth boy on a 3rd playthrough with female V on VH at some point before the expansions to have 3 different archetypes.

I spent about half that time to complete the main story, side quests and a good chunk of fixer gigs. I don't know how ppl are putting in over 100+hrs into this. Once you get to the 40-50hr mark, a lot of the content gets a bit repetitive after that much time. I'm sure I missed one or two things but I've had my fun and I'll put it away for a year until there's hopefully patches and new content added.
There really isn't anything of siginificant quality to it outside the sidequests, which there aren't enough of or the the main story, otherwise the rest is meaningless busywork.

Not even talking about content and story, which is not present in F76. 4)TES Online was absolute dogshit, and runned like absolute ass, complete buggy mess. 5)NMS had no content, literally 4/5ths of promised features were not there, and it was crashing whole PCs and PS4s, to the point where you had to format and do the setup again. 6)Anthem had server issues for weeks, loading screens that would last more than the campaign and numerous crashes everywhere on every platform, while also being literally the most generic piece of shit game there can be. 7)GTA IV on consoles and PC at day one runned like ass. GTA IV, together with Arkham Asylum and Saints Row 2, is considered the worst port possible on PC, it was so shit that they took 2 years longer to release GTA V on PC and to make sure it actually runned well(and they did, it was very well optimised). 8)GTA V was full of cheaters on both consoles and PC and has been since day one yet R* is to busy scamming kids with shark cards. 9)RDR2 runned at 22FPS on PS4 and 20FPS on Xbox One in any city (while having way less geometry and details to render compared to CP2077). And then 1 year later it was released on PC and couldn't even be started for weeks, it was also a buggy mess, insane crashes and on top of that they had a 3months exclusivity deal with Epic Games Store. Shit launcher than then required another shit launcher (Rockstar Games) with denuvo DRM that lowered the performance. TO continue on RDR2, at launch there were numerous bugs, and after 2 years the online is absolutetly useless and dead. To make it worse, the Naturalist update has broken the game. 10) To switch is up and talk a bit about Nintendo, the new Hyrule Warriors game is a borring repetitive piece of shit that runs at 15-20fps most of the time, rarely reaching the targeted 30. 11) To switch it up again, The Witcher 3 the game loved by everyone that people consider now "so much better" than CP2077. Had the same amount of bugs at day one, and almost the exact same shit performance on consoles at day one. Everyone talking shit about CP2077 and loving how good TW3 is, when TW3 without patches was in a worse position at day one, but it was 2015 with not so many people on Twitter talking out their asses and it sold 4 times less, so it was a smaller community. There were glaring issues, missing "normal" RPG elements, Triss was useless, many bugs and performance issues. They literally made a patch that changed one important main quest, to make Triss seem more important and not a checkmark after community outrage. I could go on and make an essay about shit day one launches and ports on both consoles and PC. It looks like everyone magically "has forgotten" every other release ever and decided that CP2077 is the game to hate coz it's hip and cool, most of them also sucking Rockstar's cock, the same studio that re-released GTA V, 4 times, is profiting from 12yo kids with Shark Cards, bullies modders that literally make their game better, released the shit ports RDR2 and GTA IV on PC and has been notorious for crunch time for more than 15 years. Yes CDPR did crunch too, but it doesn't come close to the wifes of the devs having to sign a petition to ask the company to let their husbands go home because they are working too much, this going on for 15 years, because Rockstar lives money.

That is what this reminds me of the most. It had a scandalous release too. I would love a faction system - there is really no reason for any gang to tolerate my presence any more, and the cops should be a lot more grateful at this point. Hell, there should be hit squads chasing me. I hope they add a little more choice to play in the aftermath of Arasaka's downfall. It seems like a good place for DLC to add. There are some things that sound cool, like going to a rave at a club, but in retrospect it seems a little sad for a single player game. Each food vendor and bar having a specialty to try sounds cool, but outside of a completionist achievement, I'm not sure what it gets you. There is a huge dead zone in the center of the city (The stadium and wrecked apartments around it), so I'm certain DLC is coming.

Those types of builds aren't exactly uncommon, with as many points as you get, unless you've wasted 60% of them on crafting or hacking, you're going to end up with builds that do 200-400K damage per shot on the hardest difficulty. Builds are pretty much a joke in this game.

Great vid, choom. It's definitely not perfect, but it's been one of the saving graces of this pandemic-filled year for me. I'm sure it'll get better with all the expansions and DLC too. The world is beautiful and I love the characters. I can forgive some bugs and glitches for that experience.

The only thing more than either stealth, or slow-mo headshotting everything with pistols is popping slow-mo, unsheathing your katana and beheading ten dudes in the time it takes for slow-mo to wear off. Unbelievably satisfying
I personally like some of the glitches on the Xbox one, For example I was getting off a bike when my clothes disappeared and a big hunk of uncircumcised man meat stretched across the screen like a jump scare. Reminded me of the scene in fight club when tyler worked as a projectionist
I actually like the crafting I don't understand why people get so up in arms about it. Some of the best guns you can get in the game can be crafted pretty easily because when you craft them they sync up with your current level, so you don't have to hunt around for a particular gun that's very strong when you can just make it yourself. Come on man
I think the crafting could be a lot better. No sound effect when crafting and I think the should change how it looks just like how they change the inventory system in The Witcher 3
That's why I follow you: you judge a game on its real content, without criticizing it abusively. As for fallout 76. I stroke you across the grain, but you're a rare bird on TH-cam.
Finally a Cyberpunk video where it doesn't take the game out of context and doesn't blow things out of proportion for the views. I have seen too many videos just shitting on the game for the views.
the choices are usually stacked, what i mean by this is for example the scene you used where she's getting revenge for her dead husband, if you had previously tried to talk her out of revenge, and you try to do it again in that moment she'll actually let him live. But if you hadn't before, she'll kill him anyway. I think this happens often in the game to specifically avoid people saving right before a choice and choosing different things to see different outcomes. the choice that changes the outcome is usually several missions in the past.
Thank you sir! I'm so sick of people purposely ignoring all of the good in this game. I am confident they will update most of the complaints such as customizing cars and guns. Ignore the glitches (I have very few on series x) and this game is absolutely incredible. I can't say enough about it, I love every second of this game
This game is crazy. I was walking around and hit a alley and there was 2 cops pointing a gun at some random person, I hid behind the wall and watch them murder the poor guy.
Thanks for actually putting a review out there, and not just trying to cash in on the “this is the worst game ever.” We all know it’s a buggy mess, but if you actually get involved with the story it’s very memorable.
It took me 140 hours to complete everything and completely 100% the game (Achievements, all Iconic weapons and legendary weapons and armor including the 60+ secret armors and vehicles and every single ending). I expected a ton more (Like the crafting and romances), regret nothing and hope for a ton more in the future.
I think Cyberpunk is similar to No Man‘s Sky .Both games weren‘t finished before they were forced to release (both because of corporate reasons)and faced huge backlash for it .It‘s likely that Cyberpunk will go down the same route as No Man‘s Sky: The developers will do everything they can after the release to make it meet our initial expectations and ,potentially ,surpass them via free updates and expansions .So the community should really calm down and wait a few months before they judge a game that was clearly not finished and forced to release early .
@@minted_wav No it doesn't. It's a rare (though very serious) issue only happening to some people. You have to go very seriously into crafting and buying/selling stuff to be at risk (the main reason is usually abusing exploits too much), which isn't how most people play. It's still a very serious issue though, and hopefully it gets fixed soon, before too many people suffer from it.
110 hours 21 mins in, still not done jobs meet- Judy...takemura and go afterlife( 1st main missions given after Watson)...137 missions complete, 28 active...not been badlands or southernmost part map yet...haven’t done assault in progress yet, loads left, 5 blue question marks, 4 skulls to do and few gigs sides to do....I’ve done a loooooot exploring, Easter an secret hunting...I’d have to 100% agree with you, ....I’m still enjoying it, not had mission bugs “YET” 🤞 it’s punk or Valhalla to play atm....punk should of been released in a year or 2, when the new consoles were a norm, cheaper so everyone pretty much owned 1, I’m playing day 1 edition Xbox 1....it’s a cross between gta/sleeping dogs/dying light...with that extra time they should have polished it, fixed AI, driving and story choice/outcome, player movement, sorted perks etc....not to mention bugs ... it could if been great
crafting / looting should have been like this: You scan npcs/ enemies, whatever, with your eye implant thing. This saves this item to a 3D printer at your apartment. Which you can use to craft it there. u can still loot items from enemies but you just either sell them, or break them down for parts to make your own. weapons works the same, you can scan a weapon and then craft it at your stash. crafting specs in the world would be learned through magazines / scream sheets, shards, these could be for unique or secret items, like finding a rare magazine you could learn a whole set of armour / weapons blueprints from it themed around the magazine, finding a shard could let you craft a legendary unique, etc. So if you liked how an npc looks inher clothes, you can scan the bitch, make them back at your apartment later on. Would be cool, hunting down specific looking armours then crafting them all at your level / high rarity.
One of the thing i hated the most about those toxic people shitting on everything cyberpunk had to offer, is that those same people are gonna love the last pokemon game....
Great review. Just want to make a note for people who have trouble finding something they want to wear instead of best stats. Get the piece of gear you want, then throw 2-4 (based on the armor piece and mod slots) epic armadillo mods, and BAM! You now have enough armor to not wear a single other piece of clothing! You can now wear whatever you want and never die. Good luck Chooms
dude, thank you! finally some meaningful reaction. Like i dunno, since when everyone is so .. demanding? Great open world, great story, options and all that. Just like author says, imagine playing this when you're 12-15 years old - you wouldn't mind bugs at all, trust me, because your still healthy subconscious mind would be overwhelmed with imagery and content, you simply wouldn't have a single though about bitching around.
Funny thing about cars (that will totally destroy the immersion) is when you stand on a street and quickly turn around, the cars will randomly swap to a new model. (works mainly with cars you did not look at for long). This technique can be used to randomly shuffle the cars, in case you want to steal a specific car.
This is how broken the cops are: Konpeki Plaza locks once you're done in there at the beginning of the game. The door locks and there's a big fence that comes down, blocking the door. If you go up to that door, and put your back to it, while you have a wanted level.... cops will spawn IN the building and open the doors, letting you back inside. And this is AFTER the 1.6 update. Regardless though. I've put around 100 hours or so into the game so far. I started after the 1.6 update. I'm loving every minute of it. I love the city, it looks amazing. And as someone that takes a lot of screenshots, it's great. I also love double jumping to places that I'm not meant to be. Despite them pretty much removing the verticality element that they claimed would be there, the game still looks amazing when you exploit double jump to get high up onto rooftops and walkways. You can tell the map was already designed with verticality in mind before they removed it. I'm also the kind of player that plays Skyrim, Fallout, and Far Cry, and enjoys clearing out enemy camps and strongholds. So I actually enjoy doing the simplistic NCPD and Cyberpsycho stuff. The story is really good too, as is all the side story stuff. Pretty much anything on your map that's a yellow exclamation point, is great. I will admit, you get strong, way too fast. While I appreciate being able to level up as quick as you do, so I can actually get to playing the game to it's full potential...It also makes the game too easy. I'm using a Quickhack/Blades build, and honestly, I rarely even use weapons. I can usually clear an entire massive area out with just a few quickhacks. Hit 'em with a Mass Vulnerability followed by a Contagion or two, and pretty much everyone's dead. And if I DO use a weapon, it's either the overpowered as hell Legendary Monowire that one/two shots most enemies, or a Katana that takes a couple more hits, but is way more fun to use, and still easily destroys everyone. And EVEN THEN, I also have a ton of those fancy floating laser grenades that can wipe everyone out just as easily. Honestly, I love the game. I will admit, a lot of that love comes from the fact that CDPR didn't put a lot of invisible walls up, so I can use double jump to get almost anywhere, including outside the map, and back into single-use mission interiors. I'm a big screenshot guy, so I love taking screenshots in places most players don't even see. Or even just taking selfies with interesting things I come across. It all started with GTAV back on Xbox 360. Playing GTA Online when it came out, I would always glitch my way into the Single Player story mission areas to take selfies, just because I could. Also, gotta say, the addition of Transmog in 1.6, is the best thing they could have added. It's such a minor thing, but in an RPG, you don't want your character looking dumb as fuck. --- Also, speaking about Skyrim and Fallout, and bugs. Honestly, Skyrim is one the buggiest games I've played. It's like one massive pile of bugs built on top of more bugs (and so is Fallout for that matter). And yet, I love it. And to a LOT of people, it's one of the best games ever. While I understand the complaints about the performance of Cyberpunk on last gen consoles, what I don't fully understand is why people are acting like Cyberpunk killed their parents, because they experienced bugs. Bugs aren't the end-all be-all to a game. A game can still be good despite the bugs. And honestly, I'm loving the game. Is it perfect? Hell no. But am I having fun with it, even after 100 hours? Definitely.
9:40 that part where you say the characters will do whatever they want regardless of what you say. That's Claire's side mission, if you REALLY want her to spare the guys life. You should have told her that you're not planning on murdering the guy and want no part of it and you're only there for the race when Claire asked you to be a part of her revenge scheme. Then she will NOT kill the guy in that part of the side mission. Preem vid Choom, I'm 50 hours in on PC. Loving it.
Totally my opinion though, this is a game of massive choices which means each person experiences something totally different and unique, and I respect your thoughts and opinions as they help me shape my own!
i upgrade weapons often and i like the feature i've only crafted a few times for testing and higher dps but i agree with u a lot
Here's what I think the crafting system should have been:
Where in the fuck is the fortuna blueprint?!?!?!)

I totally agree.
Yea but theres also a lot of creators who were just genuinely disappointed and felt it wasn't even half of what they promised (cuz it wasn't)

Omg finally someone who talks about the actual game, was so tired of ppl just talking about bugs and controversy ... preem vid choom !

its not just about the bugs, its the lack of content, ive also finished all 6 endings and i have no more reason to play the game, the open world is jsut dead, street vendors that have 2 lines, why the fuck are they even there if they cant seel you the food? and where are the animations? you jsut gulp everything, not even opening a car dor has an animation, its just sloppy and this video got it wrong at the end when he said "we expected" a next gen expirience,we didnt ,they advertised it,they told us it will be mind-blowing new mechanics/customization and there are barely any,why didnt they make your character change looks when you modify your body with cyberware, that should have been the first thing!!!!!!! the more cyberware you add the more you look like a robot, very dissapointed by this game, again we have to wait for rockstar to raise the bar even higher ,like they did with red dead redemption 2

Yeah the timing between side quests and the main quest is kind of annoying. The main quest makes you feel like you should be rushing it.
Tailored for the short attention span people and that's a shame.
Lmfao so truee
OP55N1
Honestly if No Mans Sky can make a comeback so can this game
true dude. i had no expectations and love it. like you said once im done completeing everything on my first playthrough, ill try another playthrough once some updates and dlc come out
Hmm..." I'm sure this will become a great game once it's finished ". It SHOULD be finished already :v It's not MMO like World of Warcraft. They can add some features in DLC but don't expect some crazy content patches in base game.
Ive just randomly decided to buy the game a week ago.... 55hours in starting my 2nd playthrough and already hyped for the 3rd one
Same also best comment ever
Remember the youtube comments of people who said they would spend days on character customization?
or on picking their lifepaths
@@Sengg0 an answer to both of these points is tho, life parts actually don't matter at all, it's just the start of the game and some dialogue options that don't actually effect the outcome of anything, and character customization is actually very limited, it's mostly just preset parts mashed on to a base face slab. And overall thr customization in this game is very lackluster, was kinda hoping for a little more from that end of the game, but the rest of it was very good imho.

I honestly found the Badlands almost more enjoyable than the city, but only at night... Driving out there, seeing the occasional car, while looking up at the stars with that soulful country song playing, is something else entirely.
I look forward to seeing this game fully fixed, and with more of its features added.
Same. At least there I don't have to walk by the same npc 12 times in 30 seconds with the same two voice lines.

I think the Badlands were done in a way to contrast the city on purpose.

None of those games besides Fallout 4 even come close to the level of broken that is Cyberpunk. You don't seem to realize that last gen consoles STRUGGLE TO RUN THE GAME AT TWENTY FRAMES PER A SECOND. Forgetting all the bugs. Forgetting all the missing content that's supposed to be in the game. The performance on everything but top rig PCs is lacking. Imagine if any of the above came out and was unplayable by a third of the player base for months, all while the game is a buggy mess on everything.
@@LightAndDarkMdness02 Bruv, what?
1)Skyrim runned at 2fps on the PS3, I'm pretty sure having CP2077 between 20-30FPS is better than the 2FPS on PS3 and 5 on 360 in Skyrim.
2)Fallout 4 could NOT be finished at day one and it took them weeks to fix the campaign (where you couldn't interract with a console), it was also running extremely bad on consoles, and even on PCs.
3)Fallout 76 was just BROKEN, COMPLETELY BROKEN, CP2077 is miles above it in "functionality".

Each food vendor and bar having a specialty to try sounds cool, but outside of a completionist achievement, I'm not sure what it gets you. Maybe have some affect on your rep as you become an expert on the city.
There is a huge dead zone in the center of the city (The stadium and wrecked apartments around it), so I'm certain DLC is coming.

Well, now I know how to copy Armadillo without making it with tech 16 :D NICE! A little bit of armor always helps :)
I’d guess it’s a Tech Build... You can literally get a perk that cuts through armor completely with those rail guns.
Those types of builds aren't exactly uncommon, with as many points as you get, unless you've wasted 60% of them on crafting or hacking, you're going to end up with builds that do 200-400K damage per shot on the hardest difficulty. Builds are pretty much a joke in this game.

The game runs fine on PC, better and better everyday. Great review!
Just think of how bad ass the next cyberpunk themed game will be

the choices are usually stacked, what i mean by this is for example the scene you used where she's getting revenge for her dead husband, if you had previously tried to talk her out of revenge, and you try to do it again in that moment she'll actually let him live.
But if you hadn't before, she'll kill him anyway.
I think this happens often in the game to specifically avoid people saving right before a choice and choosing different things to see different outcomes. the choice that changes the outcome is usually several missions in the past.
Yeah and usually those ACTUAL choices are made more obvious by the timer bars. Atleast in most cases in Witcher 3 and this game.

I think Cyberpunk is similar to No Man‘s Sky .Both games weren‘t finished before they were forced to release (both because of corporate reasons)and faced huge backlash for it .It‘s likely that Cyberpunk will go down the same route as No Man‘s Sky: The developers will do everything they can after the release to make it meet our initial expectations and ,potentially ,surpass them via free updates and expansions .So the community should really calm down and wait a few months before they judge a game that was clearly not finished and forced to release early .

crafting / looting should have been like this:
You scan npcs/ enemies, whatever, with your eye implant thing.

“HERES A REVIEW OF THE ACTUAL GAME” *Talks about glitches and bugs for the first 10 minutes*
having over 100hours in it myself just need to 100% the game now
Funny thing about cars (that will totally destroy the immersion) is when you stand on a street and quickly turn around, the cars will randomly swap to a new model.

Also, speaking about Skyrim and Fallout, and bugs. Definitely.
It’s a fun game, just wish it made me feel more like Batman
the issue is their false marketing and lying to consumers into buying this game when it was only meant for next gen consoles.
Only meant for next gen console? Where do people get this idea from?
there are so many layers of issues with this game, not only is it meant for next gen consoles, it is not finished, the game is maybe 50% done.
I got 200 hours and I'm gonna play even more. Game's amazing!
Loving it.
You earned a sub. First time I actually fully watch a vid without skipping 10 sec ahead all the time
