    Despite inheriting his father's athletic and dunking abilities, Nance Jr. doesn't have the same scoring ability. Junior's lack of a jump shot really hurts his game. Not as quick nor as nimble as his father was either. Hopefully he'll develop as he gets older.

      All those who appreciate what a stud Larry Nance was... check his career stats - - unbelievably consistent, and without MJ and the Jordanaires, #22 would have at least 2 rings.
      Still my all-time favorite Cav!

      I'm biased because I grew up in the Cleveland area, but as far as low-key, drama-free, Rolex-type precision, teamwork, and cohesion, the early '90s Cavs were the best. They excelled without a superstar, and unfortunately for them, always had to lock horns w/one of basketball's greatest superstars.

    Thank you for posting this. I am doing a research project on every nba draft since Bird/Magic, looking at who was taken versus who was available. I was shocked when Larry Nances numbers kept insisting he was a better value than Isiah Thomas in the same draft. I am checking out highlights of guys who are technically speaking higher value players than some Hall of Famers. This is very helpful.

      Those crowds know great basketball when they saw it, and from '87-'94, they saw more than most.
      Without MJ & the Jordainaires, Cleveland would have had at least 2 rings during that period.

    Idk how ppl say handchecking would effect players today, when in the 80s and 90s, u clearly see them playing with their feet on defense, because real handchecking was eliminated in 1976 or 1978, if u look up the NBA rulebook
    Also how do ya say it was so physical, back then? 80s and 90s wasn't physical at all. Y'all guys see one highlight of Kurt Rambis getting clotheslined and swear they did that all the time. It wasn't physical back then and defense was trash. Players of today's stats would be higher if they played back then, especially with those no zone rules

    • @massdagod
      @massdagod 7 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Steph Curry The G.O.A.T
      Jordan at 40 years old averaged:
      23ppg, 7.3rebounds, 3.8assts 1.5stls and 0.8blks on 46%fg in 32 games after his 40th birthday in a zone league.
      At 40. Let that sink it.
      Also, while the league still allowed impeding the progress of a player driving to the basket (an 03/05 rule change that opened up the game and allowed guards/perimeter players to have free range to the hoop)
      Jordan would easily average 60ppg on 60%fg in his prime in this pathetic league.

    • @stephcurrytheg.o.a.t
      @stephcurrytheg.o.a.t 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      massdagod so yeah Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, LeBron James, KD, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Harden, and so many others were playing in the league at that time? No. Why do y'all always bring that up and compare it to today's era? The new rules didn't come until the 2004-2005 season dumbass. MJ wasn't even playing no more. He put those stats up against the same guys he played against in the 90s bozo. The 2010s is different from 2002, so bringing up those stats made no sense at all. If MJ couldn't average 60 on the weak ass 90s defense, then he damn sure can't do it in this era

    • @youngreckless97
      @youngreckless97 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Steph Curry The G.O.A.T Redemptionzzz TV you guys make a point, but im sure that the refs allowed more physical play in the 80s and 90s than today's era.

    • @stephcurrytheg.o.a.t
      @stephcurrytheg.o.a.t 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nature Boy actually more fouls and free throws were attempted back then. The 2010s have the lowest amount of fouls called and free throws attempted if u average it. Look on this website and look at how many fouls and free throws were attempted back then, compared to now www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_stats.html
