At any rate, I’m happy to have a well rounded 4/5 that puts forth this level of defensive effort coming to the Blazers for DJ Jr and a lotto protected 1st. Some don’t like giving up the 1st but it was that or Nas and I like Nas so I like this move.
Most players do NOT match up well with Embiid because he is a monster.. one of the most skilled players in the league. During the Cavs-Sixers last meeting Joe Embiid was held to Larry Nance Jr 8 points on 4-13 shooting, 2 turnovers, Nance with 3 blocks. Those match up stats are based off of just one game! I feel Embiid would dominate against anyone currently, but Larry Nance hands are very active and he can cause turnovers. The Cavs problem is our inept coaching. If the Cavs, Sixers meet up in the playoffs, Tyronn Lue night actually place Jeff Green at Center to guard Embiid. (Clearly an exaggeration, but he is really bad.)

It’s so weird to see bron on the cavs and RoCo on the sixers. That feels like 10 years ago but it was only in 2018
