I started BIY in the middle of the year after my spiritual awakening so I am now in the season of Lent. I am so thankful to my sister for introducing this to me almost 9 months ago. It replaced the emptiness that was in my house and I am a different person because of it. So very grateful ❤
For a minute there I thought the prayer at the end was going to become a musical number from Godspell, Day by Day " to see thee more clearly, love you more dearly, follow you more nearly day by day" I was just about to join in ! That parable of the treasure hidden in a field, I had to smile because I have a metal detector, it is quite a thing over here, people are digging up coins and old artefacts, me? a few horse shoes and bits of metal that have dropped off farm machinery😆 I live in hope.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit thank you for calling me to study 📖 your Word. I ask forgiveness and Mercy for my sins. Please if it's your Holy Will to heal my sickness (diabetes). Thank You for everything you have done ✔️ in my life ♥️ Thank you Father Mike for your dedication to both BIAY and CIAY AMEN 🙏 ❤️ I'm still pressing play and moving forward to enrich my knowledge of God's plan

Years ago, I asked to see a sign. I was given the sign and it changed my life. It brought me back to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Before that, I was a floundering agnostic. I say agnostic rather than atheist because I always knew if I could know, for a fact, that God existed, I would believe. I was shown He existed and now I believe completely and have believed for 40 some years. My wife and I are on a constant quest for Heaven.
No grace is necessary...I love when you go on and on. Your passion and fire for the word, your ability to teach us...I could not do this without you. I have read the words many times but have never understood them. What a gift you are Father Mike. I pray for you every day that the Holy Spirit continues to work through you and teach me...and for your spiritual protection...you are one of the good priests out there that we need so many more of...your flock is great and every day you take care of us and feed us.
I’m overwhelmed with how great this journey through the Bible has been and will continue to be. I’m so very thankful for Fr. Mike's guidance. All his commentary explains and clarifies so much. This BIAY is such a gift from God. Fr. Mike and all who travel here are God's gifts to us, may we accept these gifts and use them wisely. Fr. Mike has made me so aware of how important prayer is, especially to praise and thank God and to help support each other.
As my morning schedule, I try to listen to the Gospel and the readings of the day. And today's Gospel was from Matthew. Amazing timing in life as yesterday I binge watched The Chosen. Got through episode 7. So awesome to see how they brought the Gospels to life on the screen. I pray that I turn to rich soil. I pray that I am separated from the weeds. God we all ask this in Jesus name.
Would be a wonderful triumph to God if he stay strong and always keep is humility and truly be kind and pure , pushing away corruption. He seems like a great guy.
I pray every day that God protects him and all priests from the evil one. His work must really enrage Satan. St. Michael the Archangel protect us and especially priests from the evil one.
Parables are hard to grasp, but when explained, we retain its meaning FOREVER. That’s just so amazing to me. No wonder Jesus spoke in parables, its for is to remember it forever. “Father God, bless all of us, especially those who are in most need of your mercy and intercession. Help them to come home. I am really enjoying the new testament as I am more familiar with it's content. I understand it much better than the old testament although I did learn so much. Father Mike is a gift from God the Father and I thank him for all he does for us through BIAY.

There's so much here in these chapters of Eli. I'm moved to ask for pray for my friend in Portugal, Joaquim. He looked to Our Lady of Fatima for the healing of his wife and when she died he shut himself outside the doors of the Church. He cohabitates with his girlfriend the mother of his son. I am also now by an act of God cohabitating with my girlfriend. Our lives are very parallel as I have lost not one but two wives in my life and yet have kept the doors open to me. His seed of faith was upon rocky ground were mine were sown in weeds. He is so versed on Fatima but from his mouth he denies it saying the children were drunk on wine. I told him the Marto children died in the 1918 Spanish influenza which he knew with a look of embarrassed lament, knowing I have a deep devotion. What he doesn't know is that while I was a Protestant I ignorantly blasphemed Our Lady of Fatima calling her Our Lady of Fatty Ma. That's why I have such a great devotion now by my great remorse. Please pray for my social media friend Tony who leaves negative comments on Catholic TH-cam videos. He's a fallen away Catholic now practicing 7th day inventist. He cannot see that God is above His Law as we she Jesus speaking truths about the Sabath and the ridiculous mandates the Jews had placed upon it: no plucking grain, no healing and long litany of keeping the Sabath. His faith puts similar practices for Saturday worship which Ellen Gould White mandated. He's full in this heretical faith, blind to the truth. The weeds have chocked him. Pray for all who are against Mother Church that God washes away their ignorance and brings them to the truth about righteous faith and good works. Here is the gosple we see Jesus speaking out against these three cities saying if only the mighty deeds were done in them.

I would like that too. When i was in grade school before confirmation, for a few years after Holy First Communion in second grade, we had to memorize the Catechism but I think it may have been a child's version. I would like to study the adult's version. Years ago in order to be confirmed you had to be able to recite the catechism for the Bishop. I don't know how its done now.
Virtues and graces: a soul adorned with virtues and graces could be considered "ornate" in a spiritual sense. The Catechism of the Catholic Church emphasizes the importance of cultivating virtues and being open to God's grace. Cultivate the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I told him the Marto children died in the 1918 Spanish influenza which he knew with a look of embarrassed lament, knowing I have a deep devotion. What he doesn't know is that while I was a Protestant I ignorantly blasphemed Our Lady of Fatima calling her Our Lady of Fatty Ma. That's why I have such a great devotion now by my great remorse.
Please pray for my social media friend Tony who leaves negative comments on Catholic TH-cam videos. He's a fallen away Catholic now practicing 7th day inventist. He cannot see that God is above His Law as we she Jesus speaking truths about the Sabath and the ridiculous mandates the Jews had placed upon it: no plucking grain, no healing and long litany of keeping the Sabath. His faith puts similar practices for Saturday worship which Ellen Gould White mandated. He's full in this heretical faith, blind to the truth. The weeds have chocked him.
Pray for all who are against Mother Church that God washes away their ignorance and brings them to the truth about righteous faith and good works. Here is the gosple we see Jesus speaking out against these three cities saying if only the mighty deeds were done in them.

I would like that too. When i was in grade school before confirmation, for a few years after Holy First Communion in second grade, we had to memorize the Catechism but I think it may have been a child's version. I would like to study the adult's version. Years ago in order to be confirmed you had to be able to recite the catechism for the Bishop. I don't know how its done now.
