I started to watch this channel just for Cadie but i started to love every member of the family. Cadie- love everything about you. Caleb- the handsome boy. Logan- the cool kid. Timmy- the most adorable and cutest among the four. Mel- the silent supporter of the family and finally the one and only Super Dad. Lots of love.
Love how honest you are about cooking Indian food. I married into an Indian family and I agree, everything has many ingredients and my spice rack has become a spice cupboard 😂
Lol! This was the first vlog I started following. Now i have started my own channel. I make simple Indian snacks. Please follow me channel for the recipe
At 16 minutes now, being an Indian who cooks a lot, I absolutely loved this!! Mommy, you did a killer job. About the spices being expensive, they are like a one time investment for few months depending on how much u use it. Also, I would highly suggest purchasing it in the Indian store due to the authentic taste. It’s cheaper and close to the ones we get back home. Just invest in an Indian blender. It will make ur life very very easy. Sorry, all this comes from a place of love and hope nothing that I said sounds judgmental. Loads of love, an Indian mommy from Dallas 😁
Omg! I always look at her while they taste test! She is too quick to finish her portion. Im an Indian and I have a channel which has simple and easy Indian snack recipes
Hi zoo family, this is for Melanie:I look at your face in every video since you announced your medical situation. I admire your strength and love even though I know your heart must be heavy. May God give you the strength and faith that you need to travel this road. You are in my every prayer.
Love from a Bengali of West Bengal. Also a biriyani lover, a chicken korma lover,a mango lassi lover and nun lover🤤 you guys just pick all my favourite dishes!! I have found your channel recently but finished watching all your videos in one week❤️ Treat to watch.. keep growing and keep spreading love!! Thank you for existing ❤️❤️
It's Awesome Of You All To Make An Entire Indian Meal. I bet all the things tasted Awesome. As For Rajma having that spicy that which hit your throat was probably because of garam masala or the rajma masala you used & not chilli. It's always advised to add some fresh cream or butter to any of the legumes you make . It gives it that shiny texture & is also mellows the spices . It's also best for easy digestion as legumes are complex carbs & any form of fats helps it break down. Give it try next time you make just add more gravy & maybe spoonful of fresh cream at the end.
Hi zoo family... the meal just looked awesome and tasty too....csn read it out from ur faces...and Mike...Happy Birthday....love u all....love from Kerala
You all did a really good job, A big Thumbs up. A suggestion: Cook Onion and Tomato gravy (Rajmah) for approximately 25-30 minutes(add little bit of water to make sure it does not stick to the pan). And add 1 or 2 teaspoon of cream (at the end) to give it more creamy taste and this will also suppress spiciness. Love from India :)
Rajma Chawal or Rajma Rice is typically consumed together in India. This is the ultimate soul food for every North Indian. My mother always makes Rajma Chawal for our family during the winters, because the beans mixed with masala provide heat for the body. Some onion salad served on the side, your Rajma Chawal is ready to go. ❤️ love you guys.
I literally can't vote 😂. Not because you both are my favourite families on youtube, Its just that both sides did soo good I just can't compare. Sending love to Zoo and Miller family from Croatia! ❤🇭🇷
Melanie looks so beautiful MashAllah. Her hair colour is stunning 😍 First time commenting. I've watched sooo many of your videos and love the bond between every family member. Lots of love and blessings from a British Muslim girl!
Happy Birthday Mike 🙏 Namaste. Wow the Ethiopian food too must be yummy I like how the Miller's prepared it but I've never get a chance to taste it. This time my vote is for Indian food.
Came across your channel 4 days ago and I hv watched all your videos.. Was waiting eagerly for new post! I love u all and I wish u should hv a million subscribers soon
The food looks really good! It’s really great that you keep Cadie connected to her culture and all partake in it as a family. Just a note- lassi is pronounced like LUSS-see and Punjab is pronounced like PUN-jaab (as opposed to POON-jab) :)
Happy birthday Mike! I would have loved to see your table laden with all of the food you cooked! Thank you for all the trouble that went into the making of this very entertaining video! Love you guys! You rock 🤘.
Happy birthday Me Mike. On this day of your birthday I would like to express my sincere thanks for setting an example for all. You are a great father for your children, wonderful husband for your wife, loving and kind for all who are watching you every day. God bless you and your family 🍨🍦🎂 Greetings from Mizoram, India.
basic indian cooking procedure - 1. add oil to the pot/ pan and wait for it to heat up a bit. 2. add cumin and other whole spices (bay leaves, curry leaves, pepper corns, star anise, cloves, cardamom, etc) . ones the cumin seeds turn brown, add garlic and ginger (if in recipe). stir a bit and wait for the garlic to turn golden brown. (if you’re adding ginger and garlic paste then add it after the onions otherwise it’ll stick to the pan and burn) 3. add onions and cook until golden brown. 4. add vegetable, salt and other powdered spices (turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, etc) and sauté. 5. add tomatoes (puréed/diced/ however you wish). cook for a long time (6-7 min, cab be less or more depending on the quantity ) the indication of cooked tomatoes is that the gravy mixture will turn really condensed and you’ll see oil separating at the edges. it’s important to cook the tomatoes properly since it can make it break a dish. 6. proceed further according to the recipe. i hope you’ll find this helpful for future cooking sessions ❤️.

Tip- While making the lassi add crushed ice and lil bit of sugar into the blender and serve it in a tall glass.

9:37 So right😂 We're so used to the long list of ingredients and process! Indian meals are real hard work.
