Ariel always criticizes the UFC but when it comes to the PFL, WWE, BOXING he never speaks about the bad things reported on them buy their fighters or employees, when Dana slap his wife he went on a rant but when the McMahon sex trafficking came up he didn't speak about it because he didn't knew all the details!

@michaelthomas8147 and that's bad and sad. I hate to say it (as a UFC fan) but there has been no other good soild since Pride, Strikforce, Old (Bellator) been bought. PFL is disappointing and Combate Global is a glorified Regional promotion masking itself as a major .

Not the same as them just not paying a guy his full purse after he fought and won or addressing why they aren’t honoring the million dollar tournament prize that I assume was contractually agreed upon by the fighters entering the tournament.

@@dynamic283 but he brought up Gegards situation which spoke to the financial status of PFL which gives you a reason as to why Baki isn’t getting his money. I get y’all want him to have a strong opinion on the matter and choose a side but you have to also understand he is getting two sides of the story. It’s not like Ariel doesn’t bring up those sort of questions or issues directly with the people involved.
Ariel conveniently forgot to address why PFL would not honor the million dollar prize. Also Baki never getting paid. But hes fair and honest 🤣
This is blatant anti-UFC bias, Ariel might address the million dollar prize not being honered in the future but he will never speak about Baki because he has a (legitimate) win over his favourite fighter Doumbe. Ariel talks about basketball shows being biased against his favourite team and how they should be down the middle, yet he doesn’t do that same thing he’s asking for from another show on his own show.
It's funny when heelwani talks about other orgs, he's more diplomatic, but ufc he's straight up hating. So so obvious. 😂

PFL is bleeding money from every seam. There is no way they are even anywhere near profitability. Like Dana has said a million times, there have been many MMA organizations that start up and throw a bunch of money around and they never last. You can't just buy a couple promotions and throw a bunch of money at it and try to make it big and compete with the UFC. It needs to be slowly home grown and properly built if anyone wants to have a chance. Honestly, I see someone like Cage Warriors having a better chance as they have a big following.

I’m cool with “a” player (like Reggie, and maybe it’s because I’m biased being an Indiana resident) being biased for their career long team in the playoffs, but not the entire broadcast team. I would be cool with Mark Jackson being biased for the Knicks, just the same. Obviously not over the top, but still being passionate for the teams they’ll always be connected with is actually a cool thing to me. But you’re right, the whole broadcast team can’t be like that. And those that are biased need to keep it reasonable.
Ariel is a great interviewer, best in the business, but my god the bitterness towards UFC is annoying. If it was UFC doing these things he would be the first one to jump on that.

In a transaction like this, cited specifically for talent acquisition, there would or should be a clause regarding the assumption of existing contracts and requirements for any renewals prior the deal closing. A competent transaction would have an initial signed intention of the transaction and would address contract assumption and renewals prior to closing of the transaction and should have contained a clause that both parties had to agree to any renewals prior to closing for renewals to be valid. If they didn’t have that included then tough cookies, sue your lawyer for malpractice to not include a basic provision of a merger of this magnitude, and honor the deals OR offer full releases to not trap fighters. But not a good look for the entity that said everybody was welcome onboard and emphasizes themselves as fighter first

4:30: PFL ought to pay the fighters. PFL then ought to hold back any fighter compensation it deems to be "excess" from the earnout component of Bellator's purchase consideration (assuming there is an earnout component. PFL's deal due diligence was poor given that it allowed this to happen.

Arial I’m 40 years old been watching mma for just as long as you I actually watched ufc 1 with my dad on ppv and from day one you have been calling out Dana and the payment of fighters! Now we have heard 3 different accounts of fighters getting screwed by PFL 2 on your channel. 1/ the guy needs surgery and they didn’t want to pay after it happened when in the ring for them and now this please keep the same energy with PFL
If you are watching from day 1, you would also know that he is not a "keep the same energy" type of guy.

Past interviews being shown should either be funny moments, best moments or montages, not entire interviews. Older ones are better but perhaps a mashup of the previous month or two of interviews instead could work too.
Bellator overpaid their fighter, because they got that showtime contract at the "right time". Their champions at the time were making 6 figures which is alot in MMA, I'm sure ppv points involved.

Anyone who has actually been watching Inside the NBA for a while (shoutout Run Through the Tape) knows the show has long past its apogee. Fell off a couple years back. What was one of the greatest live shows on televesion is now just a really good sports show. Still good, still the best sports has to offer, but just aint the same not even close. Shaq has become completely insufferable, Ernie been feeling himself a little too much these last couple years, Kenny still Kenny for the last 2 decades (meh) and Chuck is still goated. Barkley is really the only one of the initial 3 (and eventually 4) that has gotten better over the years
Regardless, the drop off hasnt been precipitous and its a testament to the 4 for keeping the inevitable decline as slow as possible. It's been a legendary run and in its prime was truly one of the best panels on all of television

I mean are we talking about random people off the street or MMA fans? If you are talking MMA fans I bet most would be able to name nearly all of them. The new owners were purchasing a company with certain contracts. And then we're given a company with different contracts.
It's a material change to the business deal.
That would be like selling your house, and then before the new buyers move in you have the above ground pool removed and transferred to your new home.
