id put complexity at maybe a 3 out of 10. You literally only have to put the trigger and spring guide back in place. compare that to working on any aeg and it's heaven.
Jonathan Taylor and even that would be long. I can full take down and put back together the "standard" g&g aeg rental in 25 minutes if I'm really trying to rush.
I clean and relube mine about ever 150000 shots. Take it apart wipe all the old grease off and relube all the O'rings with teach T gun sav. put it back together and your good to go for a LONG time.
I have a MKII in my build and it is a great system. If you have done any tech work before than this will be an easy install. I defiantly recommend HPA. The trigger response time is much better than almost all AEG's. Just don't get carried away with the fps and fire rate, nobody likes to be overshot, especially with a hot gun.
Put a jack in my G&G CM18 and love it. Installed a fushion engine in an ASG and had feeding troubles. Had to adjust dwell beyond the recommended settings for the fushion engine. Fushion engine took less time but both took less than an hour.
HPA is a little on the pricy side, and it is easily tempered with to cheat. But other than that, shots are more consistent FPS, it's actually suppressible. There is also joule creep which I like so you can accurately put out shots at a longer range because it's holds it's FPS better. The recoil on some rifles is unmatched. I like to run games around at Fort Ord, which is in the Bay Area of Cali. Great field and great rules. No one minds HPA there so I'm a HUGE fan of it in all it's glory. In all, I love HPA systems, how reliable they are, and how well they perform. Highly recommend spending the money on a drop in or a new engine if you have the money
I have a jack and the installation is super easy to me (I don't do any aeg tech because it is complex to me). However, I have installed it into a few gearboxes and the biggest problem (only) was that in some shells the wiring routes are super tight pinching the wires and making it hard to close the gearbox.
I would love an accuracy/ range test comparing fusion engine f1 and jack as wellas all the wolverine systems and then put the p* winner and wolverine winner head to head. I'm sure a lot of people would really like that. Thanks Jonathan
I'm glad that you are putting out videos on electro-pneumatic systems they have ALOT to offer over a standard AEG or GBB gun, mainly more reliability and consistency. The hatred behind electro-pneumatic systems ,or "HPA" as most people call it, is just ridicules. At the end of the day it's just another way to propel a bb out of the barrel.
Im using the F1 in my M249 Para, its amazing!! It wasnt that hard to install either, less than a 5 on difficulty. hardest part was the wiring and keeping it neat. bit of sawing required but that was personal preference rather than needed. HPA is the master Race, beats the AEG peasants any day. All fun and games really, buy to your budget and have a laugh on skirmish days, Play safe and honest!
I think HPA is awesome but the only thing is you haft to have a special air compressor to fill the bottles and where I live no one has that type of compressor
How about making a comparison between the PolarStar F1 vs the Wolverine Inferno Gen.2. I want to know which platform is more consistent and more air efficient.
I own both of those engines and I run a 3000 psi tank and with the jack I got through a 1000 psi a game and with the f1 I got through around 750 psi a game
Whats the difference between the P* Fusion Engine kit and the F1, performance wise? The Fusion Engine is a complete mech-box setup, but internally is there much difference?
TRowland223 the f1 is extremely more air effiecnt than the fusion engine. F1 you can run around 40 psi at a cqb field on the other hand with the fusion engine you would have to run 80-90.
Thanks for the response! I've been debating between the two for an all-purpose build and the main thing that has been discouraging me on the F1 is the lower price, but I guess it makes sense that the Fusion Engine is more expensive since it has a cnc mech-box. Any thoughts on some of the pre-built HPA guns offered by Evike? I've been looking at the Salient Arms International builds and trying to see if I can build my own HPA with the same upper / lower and some different furniture here and there for cheaper.
hey Jonathan I'm worried about getting rain in my gas blow back system. I live in a rainy environment and I want to be sure so I don't nuke my gun. thanks
Im planning on buying an F1 engine for my JG AUG A3 as it is under performing, the gears are stripping, and I'd like to get something that isn't going to run out of batteries halfway through a match. However, the aug's fire selector is the trigger (this means that halfway is semi and all the way is full auto). Is there any way to have two separate switches for the gun? Thanks!
so alot of friends have had their selector switch stop working after they made the switch so now they have to change the firemode on the fcu.any ideas to fix this because I actually wanted to get into hpa aswell
Big question... Are gas mask safe for airsoft/paintball? Is there one to buy over the other that would be safe? And is there a safe gas mask with a filter? I want to use enola gaye smoke and a gas mask but I'm unsure if its safe. Thanks and keep making more videos.
Hey Johnathan, I have a question for Q&A Mondays. I recently bought a box magazine for my new gun, but the mag is loose. I have to push it up with my hand constantly for it to feed. Is there a quick and easy fix for this, or should I return it?
Hey, what gun should I get a echo 1 m4 st6 or a costume build m27 from airsoft megastore. I want to play airsoft because I tried on the field and it was great.
Just getting a jack installed on my krytac spr today! 😊 what tank and regulator should I get. Tank I'm leaning towards ninja carbon fiber 68/4500 and using the regulator that comes with it.
Hey Jonathan, I need help ASAP! I really want to get into sniping but don't know where to go, I used to paint ball but it's been a really long time. I'm looking into the JG Bar 10, but Evike offers what they call the pre upgraded package that goes up to 500-550, is it worth getting? or can you recommend something that can be upgraded lader but is good out of the box, I'm kinda on a budget. Any advice would be awesome!! And big fan of the show keep up the great work!!
First of, love the show, second, my plate carrier is super heavier in the front and I want to know if there is a way to use a counter weight on the back of the plate carrier to balance it out. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Greetings from Brazil! I am thinking about getting a g&g rk74, but i would like to know til which sizes of lipo 11.1 and life 9.9 batteries it will fit under the dust cover. The battery there seems to balance batter the weight of the gun then on the hand guard ! Thank you !
I don't get the point of HPA due to the fact you still need a bat and on top of that fill up an carry a tank, any insight anyone can give me to change my opinion?
Kody Van Dorp i personally did the switch after my krytac ended up being a lemon, zero regrets as no matter where i play i can use it with the turn of the reg. but i do switch back to aegs from time to time but now i only like running guns with etus as u get use to the trigger response
But isnt it a pain to have to refill a tank and charge a bat? I know they are very reliable but that's not really enough to push me into them, thanks for the comment man
Iv never used hpa but from my point of view i can easily upgrade my aeg for the price of hpa and make it shoot fast with high trigger responce and fps or whaever i want plus i dont need a tank. But i would imagine that if u switched to hpa you wouldnt regret it.
Kody Van Dorp i honestly thought the exact same thing but after a few games you don't really notice the tank and line, as far as filling the tank im lucky enough to get my fills for only.3$ and the battery only requires charging every so often since the power is really just for the board so it barley uses it ive gone a month without charging mine after multiple days of going to the field just dont leave it plugged it at the end of the day. i highly recommend a wolverine gen2 as u can add alot of parts to make it fit ur play style like the wraith stock that eliminates the tank or the quake that add some amazing recoil, highly recommend the quake😉
Austin Snyder the biggest sell factor for.me was versitility, i live smack in the middle of 4 fields and each has different rules, even though i have many different guns i did want 1 that i.could take anywhere. dont get me wrong a nice high end aeg with an electric trigger unit will surfice for response but u don't get the ability to lower and raise ur fps plus rate of fire. but every other game i do like to switch back to my scorpion evo or my g&g rk74-T as they match in trigger response
Eventually, you can do these installs in like 15 minutes instead of the 1-2 hours you list owo I've been swapping between a GR-25 and an Umarex G36CVwith an SMP.
Why do people make guns with such high rps? Personally I find having an rps of above 25 bps is just being mean and unnecessary. If you can't hit someone with that many bbs then you're out of range or you just can't aim
Its airsoft, sometimes it takes more than 1 BB for the opposing player to feel. Also, airsoft guns arent as accurate as real firearms so unloading a fair amount of BB's is often necessary.
Hey Airsoftology I have a question. I am looking at a snow wolf m24 airsoft spring sniper (600 fps upgrade) and think this is the one im gonna get but i just wanted your opinion on it. Ive been debating between this or the Echo 1 M28 and i just cant make up my mind. Thanks! www.evike.com/products/68238/#pagetabs
Doesnt the hand powered air pump take like an hour to fill up with nonstop pumping? and if i would get a scuba tank that would mean that i need to invest in a 200-300 euro scuba tank that i would still need to refill.
Carlos Vreal lol tell that to my jack I just got.....and to the 4 aeg (one is going to have the jack in it) and the 4 pistols I have.....and the lbx/lbt gear I have....

id put complexity at maybe a 3 out of 10. You literally only have to put the trigger and spring guide back in place. compare that to working on any aeg and it's heaven.
^
Agreed. Shouldn't be more than a 30min install provided that you know how to take your gun apart.
Jonathan Taylor and even that would be long. I can full take down and put back together the "standard" g&g aeg rental in 25 minutes if I'm really trying to rush.
Can you do a video on how to maintain both the jack and F1? How to grease/lube and what needs to be cleaned
^
yes plz do
I clean and relube mine about ever 150000 shots. Take it apart wipe all the old grease off and relube all the O'rings with teach T gun sav. put it back together and your good to go for a LONG time.
Or you can find a video online. Or teach yourself

I'm having a Jack installed in the Lancer Tactical PDW. Full metal!
Oh god
If you do decide to polarstar your krytac, you do not need the spring guide because of how the actual screw screws into the body not the gearbox
The Boss Pinkman Thank you so much. I’m planning on running the Jack with my krytac Alpha SPD.
Literally just got my jack in today haha will be installing it tonight after work!
I installed a emg polarstar Jack into my lvoa s it was easy and I love my polarstar. first hpa gun I own. will be getting tippmann soon.
I would love an accuracy/ range test comparing fusion engine f1 and jack as wellas all the wolverine systems and then put the p* winner and wolverine winner head to head. I'm sure a lot of people would really like that. Thanks Jonathan
I think they would all be the similar. You may be able to compare shot to shot fps consistency?
I'm glad that you are putting out videos on electro-pneumatic systems they have ALOT to offer over a standard AEG or GBB gun, mainly more reliability and consistency. The hatred behind electro-pneumatic systems ,or "HPA" as most people call it, is just ridicules. At the end of the day it's just another way to propel a bb out of the barrel.
If you’re putting your jack/f1 in a krytac you do not need the spring guide because the buffer tube mounts on the lower body and not the spring guide
are they both open bolt ?
Im using the F1 in my M249 Para, its amazing!!
It wasnt that hard to install either, less than a 5 on difficulty. hardest part was the wiring and keeping it neat. bit of sawing required but that was personal preference rather than needed.
HPA is the master Race, beats the AEG peasants any day.
All fun and games really, buy to your budget and have a laugh on skirmish days, Play safe and honest!
polarstar jack or wolverine infern. Im looking to HPA my a&k sr25
The Real Effing Deal inferno gen 2 is the goat
Jack all day the jack will always out perform the inferno in my eyes
The Real Effing Deal lol are they not the same thing
E Eekhof: yeah.... I'm pretty sure everybody knows that
i love my inferno matched with the quake stock
I think HPA is awesome but the only thing is you haft to have a special air compressor to fill the bottles and where I live no one has that type of compressor
With my 8 year old m4 JG gear box the difficulty was a 8 and still going.
Jonathan you should have showed how to install an igl
Also I have put in an F1 into an lct as val
How about making a comparison between the PolarStar F1 vs the Wolverine Inferno Gen.2. I want to know which platform is more consistent and more air efficient.
So i should get the Polarstar F1 with an a&k Nozzle if i wanted to HPA my zombie killer sr25? Been trying to research what's the best one for my gun.
can you talk about possible upgrades for the f1/jack? better fcu's trigger boards pistons etc
I own both of those engines and I run a 3000 psi tank and with the jack I got through a 1000 psi a game and with the f1 I got through around 750 psi a game
1000 a game that is crazy
Whats the difference between the P* Fusion Engine kit and the F1, performance wise? The Fusion Engine is a complete mech-box setup, but internally is there much difference?

HPA Master Race FTW
I had to cut the spring guide in half on my APS wiild hog
Never had one but they r the future
so alot of friends have had their selector switch stop working after they made the switch so now they have to change the firemode on the fcu.any ideas to fix this because I actually wanted to get into hpa aswell
alright thanks I was actually thinking about buying a premade polarstar anyways off of like evike or something
With the jack is it possible to put in an a tunable trigger, like a speed trigger?
Forgot to put spring guide in.
*Insert Mikhail Kalashnikov laughing here.
looking into the realms of hpa, I would like a system for a DMR/carbine any systems? looking at the reaper or jack
I recently got a jack. The one thing i have learned is that ninja regulators and jacks do not go together
Jonathan i am in class right now, but instead of paying attention I'm watching ur vids, what should I do ?
that sounds gud thanks 4 the tip :)
Big question... Are gas mask safe for airsoft/paintball? Is there one to buy over the other that would be safe? And is there a safe gas mask with a filter? I want to use enola gaye smoke and a gas mask but I'm unsure if its safe. Thanks and keep making more videos.
can you explain what you need to do to put this into a 417 platform gun
Hey Johnathan, I have a question for Q&A Mondays. I recently bought a box magazine for my new gun, but the mag is loose. I have to push it up with my hand constantly for it to feed. Is there a quick and easy fix for this, or should I return it?
Hey, what gun should I get a echo 1 m4 st6 or a costume build m27 from airsoft megastore. I want to play airsoft because I tried on the field and it was great.
Buy a krytac. You'll thank me, plus the airsoft megastore guns are overpriced
What about the Wolverine system?
can an elite force elite are 160 be a long time use gun
I have had a KJW G27 GBB for a while now but still don't know how to maintain it so have you got any advice
is a shotgun 3 round burst or the shell
hey Johnathon what does an m nubbed unit do to your gun since I got one fro my krytac
Just getting a jack installed on my krytac spr today! 😊 what tank and regulator should I get. Tank I'm leaning towards ninja carbon fiber 68/4500 and using the regulator that comes with it.

If you already use HPA put your tank on your back, or use a water pouch
Greetings from Brazil! I am thinking about getting a g&g rk74, but i would like to know til which sizes of lipo 11.1 and life 9.9 batteries it will fit under the dust cover. The battery there seems to balance batter the weight of the gun then on the hand guard ! Thank you !
My aegs moter burs out to mutch so i'm gonna use hpa ,but any ideas about what kind of air tank i shoud get with a 50 dollar budget thanks
Hey I am thinking of getting my first polarstar what would you recommend of getting
Do you know how these work?
full metal gear box ?
you need a v2 gear box
im so happy!!!! i just asked my mom anf im allowed to get into airsoft!
should I buy the new desile amplifier?
Seth Larsen that's up to you....
this is when my quest starts
I need money for airsoft. What should I do?
Seth Larsen get a job
what about hacking?
just joking. Please don't call the fbi.
I got it . Get a JOB.
I'm to lazy.
I had a surgery on the back of my head how could I protect the it with a low cost
Helmet

I've been swapping between a GR-25 and an Umarex G36CVwith an SMP.
Randall Peralta practice makes perfect :)
You shoild do tech lesskns on how to dissasemble a gun
I'll stick with my inferno but nice vid tho
Why do people make guns with such high rps? Personally I find having an rps of above 25 bps is just being mean and unnecessary. If you can't hit someone with that many bbs then you're out of range or you just can't aim
Trigger response. Thats why.
Its fun to shoot over 25 "BPS", try it. Its a blast.
Mine shoots ~17
Its airsoft, sometimes it takes more than 1 BB for the opposing player to feel. Also, airsoft guns arent as accurate as real firearms so unloading a fair amount of BB's is often necessary.
Yea I get that, but do u really need to throw 20 bbs at someone in a half a second. I understand from the trigger response point of view tho
the fcu on the f1 is different than the fcu on the jack. the f1 doesn't have a joystick on the fcu
Hi!
Could you do a video where you install a Magpull ubr stock on a Systema ptw?
That would be awesome. 😊
Love you videoes. Take care.
Keep you tone down son!
Wait, you can just turn an AEG into an HPA system? 0.o
APS guns don't like drop ins
LOl didn't even shoot it when it was an aeg, came out the box and put the gen 2 inferno right in
Polarstar vs AEG
polarstars are better no question.
yes finally
Hey Airsoftology I have a question. I am looking at a snow wolf m24 airsoft spring sniper (600 fps upgrade) and think this is the one im gonna get but i just wanted your opinion on it. Ive been debating between this or the Echo 1 M28 and i just cant make up my mind. Thanks! www.evike.com/products/68238/#pagetabs
I'm still loving my AEG. 😁 But I'll get my hands on one of these bad boys one of these days!
I love this guy your so funny. :)
aahh i'm not very good at listening to something and doing it i am a visual learner and there wasn't very much indepth
This is all fine and dandy, if only it didn't have that hose...
sogerc1 you could always get an inferno and throw on a wraith stock
I would love it if i could refill the air at home
Doesnt the hand powered air pump take like an hour to fill up with nonstop pumping? and if i would get a scuba tank that would mean that i need to invest in a 200-300 euro scuba tank that i would still need to refill.
Inferno is better
n7
Daytona kit > polarstar
Richard E Normus yes but in terms of just plug and play I would say p*
Dayton as are fun but they're not anywhere near as accurate even when broken in.
nothing can beat wolverine :D
hpa users are cheaters, I hate them so much.... I set mine at 80psi and love how simple they are!
Carlos Vreal .....so you are saying you are a cheater...nice
yeah... so? sorry you can't afford a hpa
Carlos Vreal lol tell that to my jack I just got.....and to the 4 aeg (one is going to have the jack in it) and the 4 pistols I have.....and the lbx/lbt gear I have....
so what you are telling me is that you are happy to be a cheater also....welcome to the club
Carlos Vreal I never said those words...you did...your trying your hardest to troll me, keep it up
HPA and especially how people use it are ruining airsoft.
Hello I have a question I have a bout a 8 inch inner barrel and polar star jack and I was wondering how I could get like straighter lines or tighter groupings when full autoing at 60rps?
