there's something so surreal to me when i find a piece of media which is ridiculously of its time, but also one i have not heard of before. it feels odd like some kinda alternate universe or like a parody even though it is a sincere thing which came out of the movement it so well represents. this has ALL the 90s kids PC game cliches, it's weird. oddly fluent animation, small side activities/mini games, weird things which come alive when you click on them which serve no purpose, a basic character customization 'mini game' an art minigame. also it's so weird how this game contains guns and alcohol in that room designer. why would you include that in a children's game??? i know censors were less strict back then but even then its so weird they even included it in the first place.
Firstly thanks for watching and commenting! It's funny, I honestly kinda assumed it was pretty big but when I started talking to people I know about it no one seems to remember it, so who knows how I ended up with a copy as a child. It really does have every weird stereotype of those 90's kids games. I hadn't played or seen anything from it since I played it when I was like 5, so it was a trip going back and seeing how weird it was, like could you imagine a game like that now putting the guns in, it's wild. I guess the 90's was a different time lol
I have VIVID memories of playing this game as a kid!!! the phrase "whoopsie, you're all out of balls!" has been seared into my mind from the wall breaking game. I still say it sometimes despite not having touched that game in at least 15 years. This was one of the most bizarrely nostalgic youtube videos I've seen in years
You and me both! What didn't make the cut was me playing the ball game for like an hour just really struggling to lose it lol. That's honestly a really sweet thing to say, I'm genuinely proper chuffed you got something out of this video so thank you so so much. Here's to keeping Adiboo alive!
@@shadyturbo LOL thats so real!! that game always took forever... thank u for making this video and allowing me to relive the most surreal part of my childhood o7 !!
I had the American version too, can’t remember how he sounded anymore but I know what you mean lol I think he had a default little kid voice if I remember correctly. Like a woman doing a little boy’s voice
@lolidk189 yeah like I don't remember exactly what he sounded like but my brain didn't like hearing what it heard, it knew it wasn't right lol. It's weird because the laugh and some of the other noises were the same across both versions
oh my god!!!! i remembered this from when i was around 4-6, and ive been trying to remember what it was named for years, and this popped up in my recommended feed! the main thing i remembered was the garden game lol
What are the odds! I'm proper glad you're able to at least remember the nightmare fuel that is Adiboo now lol. I played it SO much on my old family PC back in the day! It's so weird looking back but yeah I loved the gardening back in the day (as well as the ball bouncing game!)
When I was a kid I had this game because it taught music (or one of the games in the series did I don’t remember) Anyway, at four years old, I was scared TO DEATH of this little yellow shit I had no idea why but watching the video now I remember lol Thank you for showing me my fear was justified 😂
There are a few educational 'discs' you can also get which you install and adds various educational parts, honestly kinda like a early DLC lol. It's such a trip going back to it after like 20 years but I'm glad you got something out the video, thanks so much for watching!

The commercial song still lives in my head to this day 🙃
As it should my friend. Proper club banger that
The voice acting is different between the US and UK versions i guess. Literally got fuckin jumpscared within minutes
Yeah sorry for the jumpscare 😂 Honestly never heard the US voice acting and I'm so morbidly curious now, will have to look that up, thank you!

Forgot how cursed this is 🙃
what do you mean its clearly a very healthy childrens game that's definitely not caused any long term side effects in the brain
