I just got a thrifted book called "Missionary Heroines in Eastern Lands" it's a compilation of small books together of women that wrote Their experiences in Missionary, as wives of missionary men and as caretakers. Never heard of it but I'm glad I got it. I'm loving it.
I have never read any of these, but so many of them sound interesting!! I have read advance readers copies/uncorrected proofs before and they don't have too many typos! Usually they have gone through quite a few editing stages by that point. Publishing companies send them out to book reviewers so they can have their review out early or right on the date the book comes out. That little leather Bible you got is SO cute! I have one similar that I use whenever I travel so I don't have to pack my bigger Bible I use regularly!

McKay's is the best store ever!! I want to do a couples read of those prayer books too! My husband reads more then me but never reads non fiction. 😕 I also really want to read living the proverbs and psalms books. I honestly want all of these, lol!
Aw yes, I love McKay’s! Such a fun discovery here in TN! I love the living the psalms book and I’ve heard the proverbs one is even better, I’m so excited, I found some real gems this trip!
