- Thürütsüswü Village under Phek District Nagaland, National Highway NH(702A) Chakhabama to Zunheboto Road, 4 Km away from Sekrüzu Town. And the A.Z Phizo hideout is just half a kilometre away from the village.
Zapu Phizo (16 May 1904 - 30 April 1990), commonly known as A. Z. Phizo or Angami Zapu Phizo, was a Naga nationalist leader with British nationality. Under his influence, the Naga National Council asserted the right to self-determination which took the shape of armed resistance after the Indian state imposed the Armed Forces Special Powers Act in 1958. Naga secessionist groups regard him as the "Father of the Naga Nation"

This is a unique and a very important historical site for Nagas independent especially during early days of the campaign by our brave grand parents, I urge each and every of our fellow Nagas to give importance to these historical site I also request our state Govt. to kindly allocate appropriate funds to maintain and saved this important place. Respect for our leaders who fought for our Land.And at the same time,this kind of monumental trees which is 100s yrs old should be preserved at all cost.It’s not only a significance but it’s important for our Ecosystem as well.
Such historical place need to be well guarded and preserved for the next generation.

Villages in Chingmei areas of Tuensang District played a pivotal role in shaping the history of Naga Freedom struggle, whereby even Phizo himself visited and made a base in the area. But alas, these were never researched nor acknowledged upon in the history scripts, largely written by semi-writers centred around areas nearby his birthplace.
