Our dealer had both the Little Guy Max and Tab 400's on his lot so we were able to do the comparison when deciding to purchase. While the Tab 400 has beautiful European lines and finishes, we liked the fact that the Little Guy Max was squared off rather than rounded, which we feel gives us more useable space. We loved the deep, square kitchen sink and the high faucet on the LG-Max and the large pantry cabinet is perfect, but what really sold us was the bed. When my husband saw the fold down cushions to make the bed on the Tab 400, knowing we both move around in our sleep plus we have two Corgi's that like to cuddle up with us at night his answer came in 4 words. 'No." Followed by, 'oh h___ no." We both actually fell in love with the Little Guy Max as soon as we saw it so the Tab 400 didn't really stand a chance. Hi Mary! I love what you said.... ...each will provide an amazing home away from home as each of us hit the road to visit new places, see amazing new things and meet fabulous new people. ❤❤❤
Mary, I don't yet have a camper and plan to start with a T@g by summer 2021. I will move up to the T@b 400 or the Little Guy Max in a few years. I research and study. What spooked me about the Max is the company keeps changing owners or manufacturers or something. Pleasant View, Thor Industries and now Xtreme Outdoors. And I read people were complaining a lot about the new Max's having problems. Some were leaking; some was condensation. That made me lean toward the T@b. So what is your experience with the quality of materials, the craftsmanship and the company customer service? I hear nothing but good things about NuCamp customer service. There much to like about both and I love the storage and kitchen in the Max, plus all those windows!
Thanks, great job. Three other differences: the ceiling over the sleep area in the Tab is lower and more claustrofobic than in the Max, and the height of the ceiling in the Max is higher as you walk toward the bed area. In the Tab I hit my head right before getting into bed. In the Max that doesn't happen for me (I am 6') . Also, you sit higher on the edge of the bed in the Max than in the Tab. This was much more comfortable for me when putting my shoes on. If you are shorter then these might not be as important to you.
I always thought the tab 400 was the best small camper. Bathroom is the best! But now I prefer the little max. Can I have a little max with a tab400 bathroom! No seriously, you both are blessed!
I fell in love with the T@b 400 BUT I feel the Little Max would be a better fit for my son and I. I do wish the Little Max would have a sink and storage in the wet bath.

It is amazing to see how much can be packed into a small package like the tab and little guy max. Great video by two great TH-cam channels. Thanks Randi and Patrick.
LGM bath sold me. As a senior woman, the TAB would be too difficult for getting in/out toilet area. It looks nice, over all, but not practical for me. Good videos.
I think the biggest difference between the TAB 400 and Little Guy Max is the bathroom. The sink in the TAB is a nice feature but I wonder how often I’d use it?
Janet Stipp Hi Janet! Buying a new RV is overwhelmingly... I watched a ton of TH-cam videos before I bought mine. The are pluses and minuses to each one so it’s important to identify what matters the most to you and your camping style.
Nathaniel Baker Hi Nathaniel! It was so much fun doing this video with Patrick from Travels with Delaney. Both Trailers are quality built which I love about them.
We are in the market for a smaller RV and have been looking at both of these models. The side by side comparisons really gave me an understanding of the both trailers' features. We will be on the road for an expended period of time and I find that the Max has more storage and you don't have to sacrifice storage for a bigger and more comfortable fridge. So looks like we'll really consider the Max. Thank you both for giving me this helpful video!
Happy Place Diaries Thanks! I was thrilled Patrick (Travels with Delaney) was willing to share his T@B 400 for this video! We had neighboring campsites and at a glance both Trailers look similar but there are surprisingly many differences.
The first thing I noticed was no red nails during the tour. Your videos are really starting to come together. Please remember me when you hit 100,000 subscribers.
Hillbillyjeeper WV Hi! Thank you. I always look forward to seeing your comments! 😁 If I hit 100,000 subscribers I’d be doing a happy dance 💃🏻 for days!
@@CreekCat1 we loved the build quality and nu camp's reputation of customer service. We found Miller's Trailer Sales and felt we could trust them to get behind there product.
Great job on doing the side by side comparisons in portions. I love the Tab but liked what the Little Guy trailer offers on the outside... TV mount, awning, us port outlet and passthrough storage. Great video! Thanks for putting it together and sharing with us 👍
David Gillespie Hi! Thank you David. Who isn’t a Travels with Delaney fan? Patty and Patrick are so genuinely kind... they are two of my favorite people!
Can't beat the bathroom in the TAB 400. If I were designing a mini camper I would not want any windows in the sleeping area. I still think the little snoozy was the best designed mini camper but the company went under for some reason.
John Derosa I forgot about the Lil Snoozy! That was an adorable teardrop camper. I wonder why they went out of business... there seems to be a good demand for these tiny trailers?
luv_nane28 Thanks! People often think the TAB 400 and Little Guy Trailer are the same because they look so similar. I thought a side by side comparison would be helpful to show the differences.
@@RandisAdventures for a newbie like myself, is it easy to use in the snow? I just left my job with the state and needing to downsize until I start a new job so I am planning on living in it for a few months.
I find it easy to winter camp in it. If you will have electric hookups a small portable heater will keep you toasty warm or use propane to run the furnace. 👍
@@RandisAdventures oh good to know! And do you have to bring a snow shovel to unbury your trailer to pull it out of the snow? I have a 2015 Jeep Latitude with 4WD but haven't used it yet.
I was looking at both the little guy max and Tab400, the little fit and finish felt like my grandpa’s trailer, the 400 felt more modern. I am currently living full time in my Tab 400.
WOW! That's great you are living in your TAB 400! :) I agree... the TAB 400 curved cabinet designs are attractive...but I do think the Little Guy Max cabinets have a modern look and feel too.
I love both, but plan to get a T@b 400 because it is lighter, yet has bigger tanks which is better for boondocking. Plus, I love the style of the dinette (which can also be a sofa and a bed).
Kris T.’s Stuff Hi Kris! The T@B 400 is lighter and tanks are bigger and could be a deciding factor based on your tow vehicle, gas savings, Boondocking and more. You won’t go wrong with this NuCamp travel trailer! Let me know if you buy one... I’d love your feedback. 😁
Thank you! Thank you! I e been leaning towards the Tab400 but after this comparison, I'm leaning towards the Little Guy Max. The interior Storage made sense in the Max and the wet bath in the 400 did not.
I have not seen mention of the 2-inch receiver hitch on the back of the LG. Very useful for carrying bicycles, spare tire, or other equipment. The Tab 400 cannot have a rear receiver hitch because of its upswept back.
The T@B 400 has moved the weight of the A/C to the rear so no you can put bike racks on the front by the propane tank. Also, be careful how much weight you ever put on the very back of a trailer (don't wanna go fish-tailing down the highway... though a couple bikes are fine).
Both appear to be nice teardrops. I’m leaning towards the tab 400 because of the AC and Aldo heating/ hot water systems. Also like that the new tab 400 comes with a cassette toilet. I’ve owned 3 class A RVS and a class B. Teardrop is my next adventure!
Not sure what the prices of these trailers are but the trailer for me would be the Little Guy Max hands down. The T@B seemed a little too artsy for my taste. The Little Guy kept practicality in mind in its design. Great video.
Kevin Greenham Hi Kevin! The prices range from the upper 20K to lower 30K. Did you see my most recent video where I peek inside 5 Airstreams? Those are definitely artsy!
Nice job, nice way of comparing. How about video of 400 vs. Little Guy Mini? The Max may be just too much weight for some of us to tow. And how about how to use the solar panels and how much power they can supply? Maybe a video on using some critical options/features.
Camper Life Hey! I agree... they are both incredible RIgs! I love my Little Guy Max and I know Patrick and Patty from Travels with Delaney love their T@B 400! 😁
Athena Spencer Thanks Athena! I am glad you loved this small camper comparison. I too found it helpful to view the differences between these very similar travel trailers.
I really appreciate the side-by-side comparison. As noted on your other video, we are seriously considering downsizing from a 30’ tow trailer with slideout to one one of these two models. I’m more aware of how the Tab 400 is 3 -4 season compatible, I’m less sure about the Max. Does it have dual pane windows like the Tab and is it insulated well enough? I had the opportunity to see both RVs at a show this weekend, and it’s a difficult choice.
Hi! The Little Guy Max has the same dual pane windows as the TAB. I live in Minnesota and do a lot of winter camping and I stay toasty warm inside my LGM. In fact, it’s funny you ask about insulation because I mentioned this in my latest video. Here’s a link to it in case you missed it: th-cam.com/video/VDsuqNX5D3k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=v9LE-yncr_5mSMp0
I like the interior design of the LGM is the best but I like the exterior of the Tab 400 better. However, I do like the Tab 400's bathroom the best. But overall, I think the LGM for the price is better in this vs's. Good comparison!
I really like both campers. If the T@b had the Little Guy's bigger fridge and still kept its large closet, that'd be my perfect camper. Or if the Litte Guy had the T@b's counter space and wet bath that's be perfect too!
Good comparison. Both are good trailers, but I would go with the Tab 400 because of the counter space. Now if Xtreme Outdoors and NuCamp would come out with a slightly larger trailer with a walk around bed that would be ideal for me. I would like the size to remain similar to current size, with maybe a few inches wider, and two feet longer to accommodate the walk around bed.
Hi Gerald! I feel like I have ample counter space in my Little Guy Max but the extended counter in the TAB 400 is nice. I too would love a walk around bed! 😁
man of steel magnolias You are very observant! These two travel trailers look so similar I thought it would be fun to do this visual side by side comparison.
I'm not sure anything particular surprised me. Both campers have their benefits. The ultimate choice for me would be the T@B due to it far superior visual design. It is designed and crafted like a beautiful ship. The designers seem to understand 21st c. aesthetics. It would be a pleasure to live within such a space.
Also much better for Boondocking can get thr compress refrigerator low-voltage can run full-time off at 12 V I live on the road full-time and I converted cargo trailer but I might have to get that tab 400 get a little pricey though
Great video! I like all the storage on both of the campers. One thing that wasn’t covered is what is the length of each and how much does each of them weigh?
Hi Deanne! Here are more specifications about each: Little Guy Max Dry Weight: 3140 lbs TAB 400 Dry Weight: 2864 lbs Little Guy Max Overall Length: 21’ TAB 400 Overall Length: 18’ 3” Little Guy Max Overall Width: 7’ TAB 400 Overall Width: 7’ 6” Little Guy Max Exterior Height: 9’1” TAB 400 Overall Exterior Height: 8’ 7” Little Guy Max GVWR: 3950 lbs TAB 400 GVWR: 3900 lbs Little Guy Max Fresh Water Tank: 20 gallons, Grey Water: 14 gallons, Black Water 9 gallons TAB 400 Fresh Water Tank: 22 gallons, Gray Water 18 gallons, Black Water 12 gallons
Wow it would be a difficult decision. I like the dinette and wet bath in the tab 400 while I like the kitchen and bed area of the Little Guy Max. I don’t think you can go wrong with either one!
Country Bumpkin Reporter Hi! I agree! While they are similar there are differences between the TAB 400 and the Little Guy Max and the dinette and bathrooms maybe the biggest differences.
Love them both, but LGM would be my pick. The one change I would love to see to the LGM is the bathroom. The Tab400 bathroom would be the addition to the LGM I would want. You both did a great job! Thank you for sharing.
Kellie Thorne Hi Kellie! When I was researching to buy a RV I heard more about the NuCamp trailers but the Dealer we bought from had both so that’s when I really learned about the Little Guy Max. It has been a fantastic trailer for me.
@@RandisAdventures I’ll bet the Little Guy is cheaper. The big plus with Tab 400 is that the material they make it with won’t rot or mildew if there are leaks. The drawback is definitely storage.
Gerard Hey Gerard! I don’t have the interior heights but the exterior height for the Little Guy is 9’1” and the exterior or the TAB 400 is 8’9”. My husband is 6’ and he can stand in our Little Guy Trailer was plenty of head clearance.
I think the TAB400 is better looking, especially the interior, it is more modlen. However, the Little Guy function better, for example, it has the sun shape outdoor, the bed area is way better than TAB400. The cabinet shows that the bed area is really design and well made. That area, just feel like the TAB400 run out of budget and will not spend money on it. Also little guy has bigger windows. Tab's bedroom is better looking and design. Thank you so much for showing us the difference.
It's crazy how similar the Tab@400 and Little Guy Max are but there are subtle differences and you nailed most of them.... except I think the Little Guy Trailer looks as good as the Tab... in my opinion :) Thanks for your feedback!
Such a helpful video! Did I miss where you talked about the LGM heating system vs the Tab Aldi system? Also, do they make a LGM without a bathroom? I'm one of those who doesn't want the bother of a bathroom. Thx for all this info!
Hey Meg! :) We did not touch on the heating systems but that is a great topic... thanks for the sugegstion I may do a video about it. Xtreme Outdoors the manufactures of the Little Guy Max do make several other small teardrop trailers. Here is a video that highlights their new myIpod trailer: th-cam.com/play/PLMwD3tcbfnyHB9yKmzZO8LNf0owrMw0Uf.html Let me know if you have more questions!
The Art of RVing Thank you for the amazing comment! As you know it takes a lot of time to produce a video and I always hope they are helpful or entertaining! 😊
As a new Sub, I'm a bit behind on your videos. I'm too tall for both so definitely not on my shopping list. However, I really did enjoy the comparison. I was already familiar with the Tab 400 from Patrick's channel but had no idea about yours. It would be interesting to know the comparison in price.
Arthur Leslie Welcome Arthur! It’s interesting more people are familiar with the TAB 400 then the Little Guy Max. They are both in the same price range.
I like the windows better in your LGMax - it seems like there were more windows and that they were bigger than the Tab. Plus, I like the cabinets better in yours - the wood is lighter in color and has a warmer feeling to its tone. I much prefer your kitchen sink over the Tab, too - square is much more usable for actually doing dishes! If was to buy based on this side-by-side video, I'd pick the LGMax!
I too think the windows in the Little Guy Max are better as far as being able to bring more of the outdoors inside. Also, to me lighter cabinetry seems to be better in small spaces but I recently saw darker wood in a newer Little Guy trailer and it looked good too.
Great question! There are many factors that determine tow weight capacity. I have an upcoming video that will go into detail about this… so stayed tuned.
@@RandisAdventures thanks that would be great! I was wondering if you would compare the factory specs of dry weight, weight when water tank is full and maximum tow weight. Also could you compare prices, resale value of these comparable models.
Hands down, the Little Guy Max. The interior space of the Max appears to be larger, especially in the bedroom and dining area. Love the deeper sink in the Max, as well as the larger refrigerator. However, the biggest and most surprising difference between the two campers is the bathroom design. I actually prefer the bathroom layout of the T@B 400. It's not a deal breaker for me though. On the exterior, having a pass-through storage area is a BIG win for the Max! Very convenient and such a back saver!. I also prefer design and larger front utility box/storage area of the Max. While the T@B 400 is cute, I find the Little Guy Max to be the most functional, comfortable, and attractive.
I love my Little Guy Max for many of the exact reasons you mentioned, Pam! If we could take the Tab 400 bathroom and put it in the Little Guy… we’d have the best of the best small trailer ever! 😁
I loved seeing this comparison. Have just started to research TABS. As a solo traveler, I wish they didn't waste so much space with a queen bed - full-sized bed is plenty. Since I notice a lot of videos featuring couples living in or camping in these, it makes sense that they need to have queen-sized beds.
What Little Guy Trailer VS T@B 400 difference surprised you most? Let me know in the comment section below! 💙 See you next Thursday! Randi
They both have their pro's and con's. I believe it a personal choice.
Well considering that they are very closely priced, with more room and more storage, the MAX seems like a better deal.

Very informative comparatives! I am a Rookie Camper looking to buy. So far it is the LG Max in the lead. Thx.
Janet Stipp Hi Janet! Buying a new RV is overwhelmingly... I watched a ton of TH-cam videos before I bought mine. The are pluses and minuses to each one so it’s important to identify what matters the most to you and your camping style.
I like them both, thank you both, happy trails.
Nathaniel Baker Hi Nathaniel! It was so much fun doing this video with Patrick from Travels with Delaney. Both Trailers are quality built which I love about them.
Great way to show both campers!
Dora Firminpennington Thank you Dora!
The design of the cabinets is so much more modern in the T@B, the cabinets of the Little Guy seem to have been borrowed from a 1973 suburb bungalow...
charlevoix418 Hi! The T@B 400 cabinets are sleek looking. I like my cabinets in the Little Guy Trailer. They are 100% light maple hardwood. 😊
Remarkable use of space and a high level of build quality, but oh, that price-per-square inch. Love it though!
Austin Paulster The use use space/layout and quality build are things I appreciate about the Little Guy Trailer. 😊
Rose Originals Hi Rose! I am glad you found this side by side Little Guy Max and TAB 400 helpful. Both are great small campers!
Thanks Randi and @travelswithdelaney. Nice to see the side by side! Well done! M&K
Mark Mlynarski Thank you Mark! It was fun doing this video with Travels with Delaney!
GREAT VIDEO .. Two of my Favorite Channels and People on TH-cam!!! Thanks for sharing your rigs! Outstanding Collab!
Happy Place Diaries Thanks! I was thrilled Patrick (Travels with Delaney) was willing to share his T@B 400 for this video! We had neighboring campsites and at a glance both Trailers look similar but there are surprisingly many differences.
Thank you for creating the video. I am just beginning my journey of looking at the teardrops.
David M Oh good... I am glad you found it helpful. Did you see the teardrop video I published this morning?
Helpful comparison. Little Guy Max my choice. Didn’t realize the many differences between. Wish the gray fresh black holding #’s were given.
Randy you did a great job😊
Thanks so making my day!!!!
Y’all are fantastic! Loved this comparison video. Thanks!
Thank you Ellen!
We nearly purchased a LGM, but in the end we opted to go with the Tab 400 and have been watching your videos for a while now.
Loving Life Hitched Up The TAB 400 is fantastic! I bet you are having the time of your life. Thanks for watching!
What made you decide on the 400?
@@RandisAdventures OMG, I can barely wait until I can do it.
@@CreekCat1 we loved the build quality and nu camp's reputation of customer service. We found Miller's Trailer Sales and felt we could trust them to get behind there product.

We love Patrick & Patty. They are really cool & generous people.
Lou & Angie 💚❤
Eat Sleep RV Repeat Thanks! I wholeheartedly agree with you! Patrick and Party are top class, generous people!
Would love to know your price differences on these two tear drops. Thanks for the great side by side comparison.
The Little Guy Max might cost slightly more than the Tab 400 but they are in the same ballpark.
thanks for doing this video and the Little Guy Max wins for me!!! So much better and doesn't look cheap like the TAB 400 does!!
Ladi Hawke Hi Ladi! I love my Little Guy Max and I was curious of the differences between the T@B 400. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
@@RandisAdventures Love love your little Guy Max!!
Ladi Hawke 😁👍😍
Great job on doing the side by side comparisons in portions.
I love the Tab but liked what the Little Guy trailer offers on the outside... TV mount, awning, us port outlet and passthrough storage.
Great video! Thanks for putting it together and sharing with us 👍
Mark Oberer Hi Mark! I thought I’d use the outside TV mount but haven’t yet... I need to test it out this summer... stay tuned!
Thank you Randi!! As always, I love your videos. And I am a big fan of the Delaneys.
David Gillespie Hi! Thank you David. Who isn’t a Travels with Delaney fan? Patty and Patrick are so genuinely kind... they are two of my favorite people!
Very helpful! Thanks!
Wow Randi, I really like the Little Guy Max trailer. It looks to be well built and has the amenities most will enjoy.
Explorer 867 Hi! It’s amazing all of the features and amenities in this small camper! I am loving it! 😁
Great comparison video. Thanks!

This has been fantastic. Thank you so much.
Kellie Craine Thanks Kellie! 😊
@@RandisAdventures I've read that they are back!
AMAZING video!!! It compares everything.
luv_nane28 Thanks! People often think the TAB 400 and Little Guy Trailer are the same because they look so similar. I thought a side by side comparison would be helpful to show the differences.
There are elements of both that I prefer that I wish I could combine.
Wouldn’t that be nice! 👍
The Little Guy looks more comfy and I like that it has a tow hitch if you want to bring bikes!
The Little Guy Max is very comfy! 💙
@@OriginalCelticFreckles I haven’t had to yet! Knock on wood!!! 🤣
I was looking at both the little guy max and Tab400, the little fit and finish felt like my grandpa’s trailer, the 400 felt more modern. I am currently living full time in my Tab 400.
WOW! That's great you are living in your TAB 400! :)
I agree... the TAB 400 curved cabinet designs are attractive...but I do think the Little Guy Max cabinets have a modern look and feel too.
Thank you very much for this wonderful video !
Natalia Olmedo 😊♥️👍
Thank you! Thank you! I e been leaning towards the Tab400 but after this comparison, I'm leaning towards the Little Guy Max. The interior Storage made sense in the Max and the wet bath in the 400 did not.
Hey John! The interior storage in the Little Guy Max is awesome. You can't go wrong with either one!
I have not seen mention of the 2-inch receiver hitch on the back of the LG. Very useful for carrying bicycles, spare tire, or other equipment. The Tab 400 cannot have a rear receiver hitch because of its upswept back.
Hi Gary! I didn’t know the Tab 400 doesn’t have a receiver hitch in the back so thanks for sharing this info.
Hi! You can’t go wrong with either! I think a cassette toilet would be a nice feature!
I like the Patrick Trailer. is the best!... love it!,... I want one!!!...
Claudia Carrasco Hi Claudia! Patrick’s T@B 400 is an impressive trailer! 👍
@@RandisAdventures oh!!,.. ok!,.. thank you!!..
Nice job, nice way of comparing. How about video of 400 vs. Little Guy Mini? The Max may be just too much weight for some of us to tow. And how about how to use the solar panels and how much power they can supply? Maybe a video on using some critical options/features.
Paul Weber Love your ideas Paul! I will see what I can do!
Nice video from both sides. They are both incredible rigs. This is very informative information. Thank you both for the share.
Camper Life Hey! I agree... they are both incredible RIgs! I love my Little Guy Max and I know Patrick and Patty from Travels with Delaney love their T@B 400! 😁
Thank you for this video Randi. It is really helping me in my decision making process. You are adorable btw.❤️
I am glad this video was helpful Don! You can’t go wrong with either of these teardrop trailers! 😊
Love...love ...love this video...great work you guys ❤❤❤
Chris S. Thanks Chris! Both are awesome trailers.... and I am loving my Little Guy!
Love the video. I'm just starting to look at campers. Total novice. I'm limited by what I can tow, (3,500) so I'm looking at the small ones.
Jennifer Lzr Hi Jennifer! Small campers have so many advantages! It’s fun to look at what’s available and there are a lot of options!
I really like both campers. If the T@b had the Little Guy's bigger fridge and still kept its large closet, that'd be my perfect camper. Or if the Litte Guy had the T@b's counter space and wet bath that's be perfect too!
Veronica G. I don’t think there will ever be the 💯% perfect RV but the Little Guy Trailer and the T@B 400 come so very close! 😁
@@RandisAdventures So true! 🤣
Great video girl! Keep up the good work.
My Goat Shed Life Thanks Lynn! We both love tiny spaces!
thank you looking to buy one going to check max out in person
It's always good to see all RVs in person. When I first saw the Little Guy Max I was hooked!

man of steel magnolias You are very observant! These two travel trailers look so similar I thought it would be fun to do this visual side by side comparison.
@@RandisAdventures fun video..im really enjoying them..thank you for posting !!

You just made my day.... THANKS!
I agree these are the two to compare - did Little Guy get their QC issues, especially leaking reliably fixed?
Mike Llewellyn Hi Mike! There have been good QC updates since Xtreme Outdoors bought Liberty Outdoors.
I really like the Tab 400 bed/couch. Much more versatile.
The Tab 400 couch has a circular shape vs the Little Guy Max which is rectangular.
Great video! I like all the storage on both of the campers. One thing that wasn’t covered is what is the length of each and how much does each of them weigh?
Hi Deanne!
Here are more specifications about each:
Little Guy Max Dry Weight: 3140 lbs
TAB 400 Dry Weight: 2864 lbs
Little Guy Max Overall Length: 21’
TAB 400 Overall Length: 18’ 3”
Little Guy Max Overall Width: 7’
TAB 400 Overall Width: 7’ 6”
Little Guy Max Exterior Height: 9’1”
TAB 400 Overall Exterior Height: 8’ 7”
Little Guy Max GVWR: 3950 lbs
TAB 400 GVWR: 3900 lbs
Little Guy Max Fresh Water Tank: 20 gallons, Grey Water: 14 gallons, Black Water 9 gallons
TAB 400 Fresh Water Tank: 22 gallons, Gray Water 18 gallons, Black Water 12 gallons
Awesome!
Thanks!
Deanne Walding Your welcome!
@@RandisAdventures Thanks for including the additional specification details. How about the difference in cost between the two?
Wow it would be a difficult decision. I like the dinette and wet bath in the tab 400 while I like the kitchen and bed area of the Little Guy Max. I don’t think you can go wrong with either one!
Country Bumpkin Reporter Hi! I agree! While they are similar there are differences between the TAB 400 and the Little Guy Max and the dinette and bathrooms maybe the biggest differences.
It is amazing what they can fit in a small camper. What else could you possibly need? Randi you always put out great videos.
RV DOG It is crazy how they fit EVERYTHING in a small space! I have everything I need and more when I go camping!
Love them both, but LGM would be my pick. The one change I would love to see to the LGM is the bathroom. The Tab400 bathroom would be the addition to the LGM I would want. You both did a great job! Thank you for sharing.
cdLady54 Marengo Thank you! The bathroom might be the biggest difference between these two trailers.
Is the outside water proof system on the tab 400 also on the little guy max. Other wise, no wood and all seams sealed for no leaks.
For sure! 😁
Thankyou, I gather for sure is "yes"
2nd question... what is total cost of tab 400 with solar-powered vs little guy max and weight of each with weight of your personal items for travel?
Most important item was the wardrobe closet. Does the bathroom have any sort of sink?
Hi Joe! No bathroom sink in the Little Guy Max. I use the kitchen sink...
LGM does it for me, although it was a close call !
Edward Galloway No one could go wrong with either of the trailers! But I am team Little Guy as an owner I have really enjoyed mine.

Yvette Wiley Your so very welcome!😊
I never even heard of a Little Guy Max, but I think I like it better than a Tab400!
Kellie Thorne Hi Kellie! When I was researching to buy a RV I heard more about the NuCamp trailers but the Dealer we bought from had both so that’s when I really learned about the Little Guy Max. It has been a fantastic trailer for me.
Also what is the price comparison between the two campers?
Hi Narissa! I have not done a recent price comparison check but the Little Guy Max and Tab 400 from what I recall are priced in the same ball park.
@@RandisAdventures I’ll bet the Little Guy is cheaper. The big plus with Tab 400 is that the material they make it with won’t rot or mildew if there are leaks. The drawback is definitely storage.
Thanks, good comparison.....what is the interior height of these 2 units ??
Gerard Hey Gerard! I don’t have the interior heights but the exterior height for the Little Guy is 9’1” and the exterior or the TAB 400 is 8’9”. My husband is 6’ and he can stand in our Little Guy Trailer was plenty of head clearance.
@@RandisAdventures Thank you and good job with this comparison !!
@@RandisAdventures ... Thanks ... Interestingly, I see more features on the Little Guy Max I like better than the Tab 400. :)
Arthur Leslie I am biased... but I am a big Little Guy Trailer fan!
Is there a hookup for outside power and water?
Doug Tisdale Hi Doug! Yes and yes!
I really liked this comparison. I favor the little guy max. I would just prefer a solid door not the see through one.
Hi! I have seen people use peel and stick wallpaper covering. It comes in all colors and designs so it is an easy, cheep way to add some flare too! 😁
@@RandisAdventures that’s what I was thinking.
What is the tow weight comparison?
J. Thompson Yes, as a solo traveler a queen size bed probably does seem like a waste of space. Maybe nice for extra hanging out room?
Is there a place that sells the little guy max in Australia
