@Suzanne Young You might be surprised how well your kitties may adapt. I watch several full time RV channels and there are a lot of people with cats. They keep a little box or even a carrier set up either under the table, next to the bed or even on the dinette bench, and that is their kitty cabin. A few familiar toys or blankets from home and they are content. A small litter box in the bathroom is all you need. Many people don’t use their shower and put the litter pan in there. You never know until you try. Before going all out and incurring the expense, maybe rent a camper or RV for a few days as a test run for your fur babies. Many RV Rental companies and private individuals will allow small pets with a deposit. Best thing about having cats is, the neighbors won’t complain about barking, lol. Good luck and I hope you’re able to hit the road soon.

Trust me, you're not nuts!!! They're just not adventurous:). Make sure you have a good tarp to put your tent on, maybe one for inside your tent depending on the weather.( I usually had dirty, dusty and sometimes muddy hiking boots after a hike) REI has camping classes also. You do want a good sleeping mat to put your sleeping bag on. I got a small pillow from REI for camping that I've had for many years and works great. If I listened and believed EVERYTHING that people including family members to me I would've missed out on so much!! Hiking in Alaska, Grand Canyon, Utah, California, Arizona and camping in same locations. National parks KOA are pretty nice. Enjoy your experience. BTW if at anytime you don't feel safe, sleep in your car. Or if it's raining cats and dogs and you don't want to put your ⛺ up:). Enjoy your tent and your adventures:)
That fireplace in the bedroom - pure genius. I love it! What a fantastic idea. And this thing's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks like from the outside.
This teardrop is awesome, and she has made it so comfortable and homey! How fun this is! This is my favorite tour of all time! Such great advice and input. I love the discussion about the community and the encouragement to just get it there and do it.
What an awesome lady. I admire her camper and her hutzpah!! I’m 61 and it took me 20 years to get my husband into camping, heck I could have gone on my own all along. LOL! Her camper is just adorable! Thanks Patrick for introducing us to this awesome woman and her camper...and her website!
Without a doubt, in my personal opinion, you have given one of the VERY BEST tours of a camper I've ever watched. You didn't miss a thing: decor, modifications, technical aspects, organization tips, personal touches with brief histories ... some corporate outdoor company needs to offer you a job with a BIG paycheck to promote their business. You'd be their star!
Enthusiasm is contagious and she has it in spades. I really love the layout and features of that camper. I am a T@B 320 owner and while I love my camper, the storage provided in this Max is outstanding!
Yo Patrick, You definitely hit it out of the ballpark with this video. You found a Gem 💎 She is well versed in all aspects of camping. Passionate about what she does to say the least. She is an absolute perfectionist in the art of organizational skills. We are in love with Janine. Patrick your content is exploding out of this video.
I totally agree. She is the most positive and energetic person and very knowledgeable individual. I too married a non camper but she has gone with me when we wanted to take our grandson camping and I think we might be gradually moving towards getting a camper. I love her set up. That teardrop looks amazing.
What a sweetheart! I love her enthusiasm. I need her supplements list. Would love to meet her. I admire her enthusiasm. Looks like she enjoys crafting and is talented in many areas. Enjoy your travels. Blessings
What an inspirational lady!!!! As a single woman who loves nature but afraid to go camping alone for many reasons, this was great information! After all, I think I can do this without a man! Thank you both for all your efforts to encourage people like me!
Wow, this is probably one of the best camper tours I've ever seen! Having someone who's so enthusiastic about her camper and so practical in storage and utility methods makes this a wonderful tour. That camper company should hire her, she's probably gotten them more positive advertising with this video than all their ad firm consultants ever could!
I have had several campers over the years and have watched a ton of other videos on campers, trying to find “The One”. No one can compete with Janine’s thorough descriptions - she completely sold me on this camper. Like many, I imagine, if she were selling, I’d buy this camper in a heartbeat!
What an amazing video! I lived in 38' rv for 3 years due go being "residentially challenged ". I learned so much about being resourceful and what was required to live efficiently in a small space. She has EVERYTHING covered, in my experience. Having solar panels, for me, was life changing. All the amenities of convenience on her trailer are so well done. I'm ready to go back to that life, by choice this time, much better prepared. She's right, Learning to camp confidently can change your outlook on the world . . . and life. Thank you for this video!
She is so warm and full of life... reminds me of my granny who is not with us anymore. sending her loads of love♥️ she is living her life to the fullest and she is enjoying every bit of it..she brightens up our mood with her cute smile and spreads joy when she happily shares all her beautiful experiences
Really enjoyed this tour. So cute how her voice inflection goes up at the end like a question so she comes across as very sweet. I love her advice not to be fearful. She makes you feel that if you were going solo you would be welcomed at the campsite. I love her organization in the drawers. I don't like seeing when people are showing their storage and everything is shoved in there. You want to feel good about your home from the very inside to the outer
Wow! what energy she has! I don't think she took a breath the whole time she was giving the tour...lol. Really nice camper and love how she made it to suit her style
Such energy. I wonder if that's why she camps alone? Probably not. You have to chirp it up for a video or the audience will start to nod off. I've seen those. Terrible.
I went on your tour of your camper tear drop. I was impressed with the actual size. How organized you were with it. I was amazed at all the storage you really have. I was impressed with the fact it had a queen size bed.
I am so glad this video came up in my recommendations! I have wanted a camper van since I was a little girl. I would tell my mother, born and raised city girl, about them and point them out in the road. Fast forward to 40 and I can't stop looking at potential vans everyday. My son is 16 and I have about eight years between when he turns 18 and when doctors expect me to need a wheelchair. I want to have an adventure! At first, friends and family humored my interests. They would buy me campervan themed gifts and chat with me about options and designs. Then I went to buy a camper... and everyone was suddenly opposed to the idea! Surprise! I know that I my mobility is an issue, but it is also that I am a 5ft tall woman. Now I feel inspired again. I want to say, "Hey! I can put a ramp on my van and do whatever I want!"
Go for it. :) Outdoor fresh air and comradery of camping is healing for the soul and maybe for delaying your prognosis. I was to be in a wheelchair 9 yrs ago-NOT. Healthy food, a few choice supplements and lots of Physical therapy type exercises at home have just become my routine. My best wishes for you.
@@nancylucas8555 thank you for sharing your story. 💞 My son turned 17 yesterday and it was the best day. Full of love and laughter. At the end of celebrations he hugged me and carried the pile of books I wanted to read to my room for me. 💖 I feel ready for my adventure. I decided to rent a campervan and get a feel for it. I put down a deposit and I'm planning my next journey.
Amazing! Never thought a teardrop had so much space. All the comforts you would need. Nice option to some pull campers or converted cargo trailers. Great info she shared.
My family and friends are quite nervous about my newest adventure. Janine Pettit has never even met me YET but I can't tell you how inspirational her personal responses have been in my deciding to buy a truck and a Little Guy Max that I get next week!! I have NEVER driven a '21 truck let alone pull a 21' camper. Being a single, 65 y/o "semi-retired" white-haired, smaller 5'6" women with only 1 friend that will camp with me only once or twice a year my family and friends think I'm in over my head. I'm both nervous and excited, but having a new "subculture" will be awesome!! Thank you for doing this video ~ I love this information and tour!!
Omg, I love how neat & organized you are. I am so surprised that your camper is so spacious. I love the decor too. Thank you for sharing your camper, ideas, tips & knowledge and of course your Pearl's of wisdom!!!
Yes, seems like she is not camping all alone, but with the husband. Otherwise why would she talk about needing some privacy? If you travel alone, then of course you have total privacy. So also, like you kind of confused.
What a true source of inspiration she is! Love how she decided to not be discouraged by her hubby’s lesser enthusiasm for it, and decided to start a business dedicated to sharing and boosting the confidence of women everywhere, encouraging them to go for it, and learn how to do it safely and independently with back up if the network/community. What an awesome gal! I feel inspired, and love that teardrop with all those amazing details, functiins and THE mist awesome sleeping area I’ve seen in any video! I just love seing a woman of her age with that amount if energy and happiness about what she loves being so generous to others who’ve yet to find that level of confidence. I had zero intent of watching this entire vid, but this lady is infectious! Her enthusiasm and attention to ALL the details are amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This lady has a lot of personality. She has great energy. Little guy makes a great trailer. I like the personalization.
Thank you.
Please who are you? Where do we watch you? Very impressed with your outgoing attitude.😊😎 🇦🇺
Her poor husband, no wonder why he stays home sometimes. 😂 my mother was the same. Omg she didn’t shut up
@@rockn997 what a rude comment. She's just passionate about camping as a solo female. There was nothing annoying about her.
@@yvonnecusworth3246 l'm more a watcher of videos than a creator. Anyway if we were all creators, nobody would be watching anything on TH-cam. And really l'm not that outgoing, l just try to help my favorite channels. Thank you though. 😊
Now I want a camper more than ever! And I want to be at the same campground as this lovely lady. I love her!
Me too! Potluck Party!
Love her! Everyone thinks I’m nuts because I bought my first tent at 55. She is so inspiring! Thank you!! ☮️
Not nuts at all! There’s no wrong way to camp like a girl!!!
That is awesome!
You inspired me !!!
You're not nuts. They are.
What a phenomenal camper! Can't believe you can fit so much inside and so cozy looking!
She is an inspiration to us all.
Thank you Pat.
For real! Amazing camper.
Thank you Pat!
That fireplace in the bedroom - pure genius. I love it! What a fantastic idea. And this thing's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks like from the outside.
Thank you very much
She's such an excellent presenter! Janine stole the show
Thank you very much.
This teardrop is awesome, and she has made it so comfortable and homey! How fun this is! This is my favorite tour of all time! Such great advice and input. I love the discussion about the community and the encouragement to just get it there and do it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What is the price. Can a 4 cylinder pull this.
I want to know the price.
What's the towing capacity.
That is awesome!
This lady has a SWEET little setup! Great job, travel well.
Thank you kindly!
Thank you very much 🙏🏼
Thank you!!! 😘
Amen to that. I want it all.
Appreciate that
I totally agree.
Blessings
@@vickilee2185 doesn’t she just make you smile? A girls camping weekend with her would be great! I’d love her supplements list too lol
Let's go girl I'd have a blast camping with you.
I've followed her podcast for years. She an inspiration to the RV world and very talented.
She is awesome
Wonderful lady educating all women how to have so much fun camping. Great video.
We agree!
Thank you Debi. We Girl Campers do have fun!
Not just women!
@@janinepettit2019 Women do to. What about boys? Do they camp alone?
What an inspirational lady!!!! As a single woman who loves nature but afraid to go camping alone for many reasons, this was great information! After all, I think I can do this without a man! Thank you both for all your efforts to encourage people like me!
Thank you. You got this
I sooooo love her homey personality... She makes me miss my mom so much.
Thank you for checking this out.
Yeah. Shes seems so dang wholesome!!
Wow, thank you!
I'm going to be 68 yo next month. I truly want one of these! As a single female, I'm game to travel and camp alone!
66 yo planning the same!!!! Have been looking at many small campers, she has completely sold me on this one!!!!💖
I have had several campers over the years and have watched a ton of other videos on campers, trying to find “The One”. No one can compete with Janine’s thorough descriptions - she completely sold me on this camper. Like many, I imagine, if she were selling, I’d buy this camper in a heartbeat!
She is the best spokesperson for that teardrop rv. Such an awesome vibe!
Thank you so much.
She is amazing love her vibe
What an amazing video! I lived in 38' rv for 3 years due go being "residentially challenged ". I learned so much about being resourceful and what was required to live efficiently in a small space. She has EVERYTHING covered, in my experience. Having solar panels, for me, was life changing. All the amenities of convenience on her trailer are so well done. I'm ready to go back to that life, by choice this time, much better prepared. She's right, Learning to camp confidently can change your outlook on the world . . . and life. Thank you for this video!
What a sweet happy lady. She's great at organizing her camper and made it so honey. 🙂
Yes indeed!
I just love her personality she is so adorable. I also married a man who isn't a camper kind of guy and I love camping.
YES! YOU GO GIRL! What an awesome lady! I love her personality and her drive! I'm going to find Camper Girl magazine asap!
Thank you Beth.
Love , love , love her !! So much positivity and joy! Such a huge inspiration 💕💕
She is so warm and full of life... reminds me of my granny who is not with us anymore. sending her loads of love♥️ she is living her life to the fullest and she is enjoying every bit of it..she brightens up our mood with her cute smile and spreads joy when she happily shares all her beautiful experiences
Thank you very much
She is the teardrop camping master! She's mastered those campers!
Yes 🙌
Really enjoyed this tour. So cute how her voice inflection goes up at the end like a question so she comes across as very sweet. I love her advice not to be fearful. She makes you feel that if you were going solo you would be welcomed at the campsite. I love her organization in the drawers. I don't like seeing when people are showing their storage and everything is shoved in there. You want to feel good about your home from the very inside to the outer
She really explained so much and very well better then a sales person!
Thank you 😊
Wow! what energy she has! I don't think she took a breath the whole time she was giving the tour...lol. Really nice camper and love how she made it to suit her style
Thanks for watching!
Such energy. I wonder if that's why she camps alone? Probably not. You have to chirp it up for a video or the audience will start to nod off. I've seen those. Terrible.
You made your camper both cozy/homey and organied/functional!
Totally liveable!
Thanks so much!
Wow, what a positive person.
Yes. True.
I went on your tour of your camper tear drop. I was impressed with the actual size. How organized you were with it. I was amazed at all the storage you really have. I was impressed with the fact it had a queen size bed.
This is such a cute camper. I love how it’s decorated and the wallpapers. It is just beautiful and cozy!
Thank you so much!
I can't get over how large it seems inside!
Such an open space
Janine is amazing! Her spirit is infectious 🤗
Thank you 😊
I love her! She's awesome and explained things so well and all the tips and tricks for storage etc. I love long videos too !
Yay! Thank you!
You got write can't go with you alone
He a police that stays with me
This lady definitely knows her stuff! I would never have imagined all of that inside such a small space - a queen bed!!!
Yes, agreed.
She would make a wonderful teacher. Totally amazing camper
Agreed
Fantastic tour of this cute teardrop. She has amazing organization and decorating skills. This little trailer looks like a home. She’s just amazing!
Thank you so much!
One of the best rig videos I've seen! She moved quickly through everything her camper had to offer. Great camper and one I'm going to look at.
Wow, thanks!
Thank you for checking in. I would say go for it
I love her personality 😊😊I love the way she says “fantastic “ 😀I’m a midwesterner and her accent makes me nostalgic.
She’s one of the best guest you’ve had. I wish I would’ve done that when I was younger.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Amazing! Never thought a teardrop had so much space.
All the comforts you would need.
Nice option to some pull campers
or converted cargo trailers.
Great info she shared.
We agree!
I just love her!! She is such a sweet, happy lady.
Thank you very much
My family and friends are quite nervous about my newest adventure.
Go for it. Don’t let their own personal fears distract you from your dreams
I never thought I’d like one of these, but this is adorable.
Omg, I love how neat & organized you are. I am so surprised that your camper is so spacious. I love the decor too. Thank you for sharing your camper, ideas, tips & knowledge and of course your Pearl's of wisdom!!!
Thank you so much!
I laughed when she said, "I don't want my husband watching me shower!!"🤣🤣
Thank you Marcy
- Lol, me too!
Yes, we all need some privacy, even from a husband.😃
Me too but I’m confused I thought she was a solo camper as in the title?
Yes, seems like she is not camping all alone, but with the husband.
Otherwise why would she talk about needing some privacy?
If you travel alone, then of course you have total privacy.
So also, like you kind of confused.
Janine is awesome. Thank you , Patrick, for presenting on girl camper
Janine is fantastic
Big thankyou from Scandinavia! ❤️
This beautiful Soul is a free spirit and I love her xx
Thank you very much.
Wow ! Glad I found this channel ...thank you Patrick ! I need to get with this gal ...I am a 62 yr.old widow... just purchased my 1st RV and I am ready to move forward ...this lady and your channel are informative and inspirational !! Be Safe !!
@@angelabuxton2237 Good for you! 💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏽
I can't believe how much they squished into a teardrop! Very cool😊 And she should totally work for the company lol
That would be cool!
She for sure is into the whole trailer camping experience.. when I was young we slept in tents and out kitchen was set up at the end of a picnic table. We truly roughed it and loved every second of it. I carried all that I learned as a child on with my children. Some of my fondest memories are camping.
Wow! Well after watching this video I am so inspired! Awesome! I LOVE her spirit and her enthusiasm. The fact that she wants to educate women about camping is awesome.
You got this.
This is one of the best camper tour's I've ever watched. Fear is my biggest hindrance to buying a T@b trailer and hitting the road. You're very encouraging, and fearless. Thank you!
Thank you Debra
Wow! Massive storage! So many amenities in a smaller travel trailer.impressive! I love the personality and design features you've added to your space. Your organization and M storage solutions are great. Fabulous review!
I feel she tells everything so. Good where u have too for everything. I like how she tells everythig
I love this lady and her wonderful camper.
She made it feels like a home not a camper. It looks like she lives in the camper all year not summertime. Great job 👏
Thanks so much!
What a delightful teardrop. This is something I would consider.
Go for it.
She is so cute, organized camper. Well put together “teardrop”.
She did admit half way through that it took her two years to get the storage together, made me feel a little better.
I love this woman's effervescent personality! She was very giddy and kept a smile on her face during the entire tour. Really liked all the organizational tips. She must have a background in sales because she sold me on those clear containers!
Great teardrop camper. I like the layout and the amount of space it has. I also love the quote on the wall plaque. "Let your faith be bigger than your fear".
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for you kind words Laurie!
Janine has some great information and it's nice to listen to a person who is so entertaining and passionate about camping and the outdoors.
Thank you very much

I like your enthusiasm 😉
This is absolutely beautiful & fully equipped with everything anyone could ever need. I love the beautiful homely touches she has added - I LOVE it!! ...and you can hear the absolute joy & excitement in her voice when she's giving the tour of her trailer. I'm the same with my homely little pink & blue 1959 caravan - I get excited talking about it LOL 😊 LOVE that no memory hose too!!
Janine, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL TOUR! You are simply DELIGHTFUL and I LOVE your teardrop. I so would have enjoyed to be around the campfire singing with your family while your dad plays his guitar and banjo. Sounds like GREAT fun.
Glad you enjoyed it!
They were grand times!
What a nice lady! She came from a camping family and her dad taught her what she needed to know wow! How amazing it that! Now she is passing it on to others to help them enjoy their camping experiences. I love her teardrop camper too. Great video thank you!
I love you, Miss Janine! You are so upbeat and full of great info! Thank you for sharing your adorable, roomy, beautiful camper!
This lady is awesome! We should all strive to be so positive. If I owned an RV dealership, Id hire her as a saleswoman in a heartbeat. God bless her!
Awesome tour. I love her already! So many efficient tips & tricks in her trailer. Best RV walk thru I’ve seen so far.
We agree!
Can’t believe everything is all in a tear drop camper, with shower, kitchen & bed, awesome & impressive!
