    Nice video, I hate peoples video riding the scooter because it’s a video of them riding it. ( I don’t care ) but your explaining everything and that is super helpful for anyone looking for a honest opinion.
    So great job and keep doing it this way.👍🏻👍🏻thanks right two thumbs up 😎

      Thank you, I try to give the real sights and sounds. Drone footage would be rad but it doesn't nothing to give a feel for riding! Cheers!

    Bunny hop over speed bumps and curb jumping was epic! The Touring took a beating lol. Great review.

      @Tommy Lee, haha, I do tend to try and see what these scooters can do, suspension can really do a lot and tends to be a little overlooked I think with all the focus on dual motors and more speed. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for this review! I am looking for a mid range, mid price scooter. I have a Segway es4 and it isn't rated for my weight plus groceries. I'm about 240. Once you add a Costco bag or two it struggles. The motor is burning out. I like the fact that this has a 300+ weight capacity, that its under $1000, has a bigger riding surface and still does a reasonable speed. I was looking at the Segway max for a while but I got to ride it and I don't like the brakes. They are just as slow to stop as the es4. I live in nyc and the issue of people stepping into the bike lane, car doors being opened as I am trying to pass and taxis attempting to turn without noticing I am there means I need brakes that are gonna STOP!

    Thanks for this video, most scooter channels focus on the cruiser mainly and the touring is just ignored.
    Also when did you purchase this? Voro told me that they improve and change their scooters in minor ways over the months but nothing major like their major 2020 model.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought this one in November 2020, scooters don't tend to have models years so you will find small changes depending on when it was purchased.

    Nice review! I just got mine and actually had same issue on 2nd day of riding where brake cable popped off. Almost run into a car that was turning in front of me. Contacted Voro Motoros and they acted like it was the first time they heard about this issue :(

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that is a terrible response by them. They did a redesign where there is a small bolt that goes in there to pin the end of the cable in place. They should send you one of those, it is a pretty simple swap out. Let me know what the resolution is, this kind of thing helps everyone out! Thanks for the comment.

    Thanks for the great video, I am really enjoying your channel! This is probably not great comparison, but money aside, would you go for the Emove Touring or the Vsett 8? I am looking for a comfortable ride with decent range. I have been stuck between the Touring, Zero 9 and Fluid Herizon, but it looks like the Zero 9 are being discontinued.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the Zero line is now going the way of rebranded clones...which aren't bad. I think the Vsett 8 is far and away a better ride. The Touring has a bigger deck though. I would only take a Touring if you the extra speed is worth it to you, the Vsett is just a better designed product.
      I appreciate the comment and thanks for the nice words!

    I got hit by a car and the scooter didn’t have a scratch. And I ride really aggressively it’s super fun to hop around on. I ride I. Pouring rain without much issue. Durable scooter definitely worth it.

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I sure hope you are ok! I think the people that ride the Touring hard are impressed with how it holds up. It is definitely the under appreciated side of this scooter. Thanks for the comment.

    Please get some more b rolls and up quality. All the best mate

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont want to sacrifice content for flashy b-rolls, as many reviews using them are really ads vs reviews. I did recently get a b-roll lens. Anything more specific on upping quality? I always appreciate the feedback.

    • @taekin9781
      @taekin9781 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectronSurfer you can still have great content with b rolls. Like voice over b rolls. People's attention span is short these days and it would be nice to have some b rolls to keep it exciting. Right now your reviews are long and winded, it would be nice for them to be more short and to the point. I find myself watching videos in 1.5x or 2x speeds because of this. This is not personal I really appreciate channels making reviews.

    Would you recommend this over Apollo city for daily commutes of 12 miles in a place that occasionally rains for a few mins and has lots of little hills? (honolulu)
    Most important thing for me is ride quality. And Im only planning to go a max speed of 15 MPH
    Thank you! Great video

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MADfootage, the Apollo City is basically a Zero 9 and with that the ride is better than the Touring. That solid rear tire will always transmit more vibration. The smaller tires on the Touring also lead to a little less stability. I felt like I could jump the Touring off curbs where I didn't feel like the Zero 9 could handle it. So ride better on the Apollo but strength of the scooter itself I would say touring. I hope that helps!

    I don't see the image motioned to in the "aside" around 8 min

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's odd, I see it right over my head? Basically Dick's Sporting Goods keeps emailing me about their "Flash Sales". Poor choice of wording Dick's!

    • @prowler1992
      @prowler1992 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectronSurfer oh, yeah, I saw that above, thought what you were referring to was to the left left. Guess I just don't get how the wording is poor and I thought there was something I was missing. After thinking about it, my guess is that "flash sale" could have to do with "flashing" where someone exposes their private parts quickly, and they are called "Dicks" but I really had to think. I don't think most people think of this immediately. Anyways it sounds like a small issue. onwards

    Thx for video. So I saw that right... Fastest you got it was under 21mph? Doesn't go the 25mph for a 200lbs person right?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Adam Davis, the display may read 25 but I don't see how you'd go any faster than I did, I'd say 20 is more reasonable for you. Thanks

    since u had this for over 8months since this was posted, any flats or updates of how u feel bout this scooter durability pros n cons?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have the Touring any longer. I can answer this as a former dealer. I had just a few front tire flats, the biggest issue is the rear brake line popping out, even with some of the "fixes" people can still have issues, especially if you fold it often and/or load it in a car. The cable can get caught and pulled out of the rear cable stop. I have seen a few bad batteries. The Touring was generally pretty solid.

    Mine shows 30-34 max speed on the speedometer. I'm about 150 lbs. Is something wrong? If so, how can I measure actual mph accurately?

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use GPS, it is likely that your tire setting is wrong or you are still in kph. No way a touring would go 30+mph.

  • @sagemoonchild333
    @sagemoonchild333 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What did you have to do to prevent the brake line from popping out??

    • @ElectronSurfer
      @ElectronSurfer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will need a new disc brake outer drum housing, the cable stop for the brake was too shallow in some of the scooters sent out so it doesn't hold in very well.

    • @sagemoonchild333
      @sagemoonchild333 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElectronSurfer Oh ok. Did the manufacturer provide that or did you obtain it third party?

    • @ElectronSurfer
