I love mine. Never see them in the day but if I ever turn my bedroom light on through the night I see them creeping around looking for food.

@justask4leo yeah I love that about them too. Even though mine sometimes come out also during the day when I feed 😊👌🏻

I have one MTS, his name is Crab, be is over an inch long and very active and he's 8 years old! he's a great pet. He lives with a mystery snail, a placo and a 2 inch long common goldfish in a 30 gal, and everyone is very happy. when a Trumpet Snake is healthy it will keep growing, and if he has little spoikes around the opening of his shell. these spikes are a sign that he is getting enough calcium to keep his shell happy!

It's impossible to have only 1 MTS. These things clone themselves! 😬

@@johnfadds6089 ok but he's been alone for the last 3 years. I had 2 for a long time but one passed 3 years ago. Crab was one of several hundred to begine with almost a decade ago, I kept 2. But even when I had 2 we never had babies. So... i guess you are wrong?

@@mermadicamerican7754 You probably didn't realize you were having baby MTS they look like debris floating on the surface and goldfish would easily swallow the dusty live babies about the size of a grain of salt

@@emihayashi7725 @emihayashi7725 For about 10 years I bred Betts for Aquabid. I know trumpets are prolific breeders, gor a little experence ;) but I've never found an egg clump or a baby in the.. now 9 years I've had him. The other snail and the pleco were moved, so it's just him and a goldfish. Not sure why he doesn't lay any eggs, but I am sure he isn't. He does keep growing though lol

I almost passed out one night when I went into the spare room I keep my ten gallon in. There were MTS everywhere!! In the tank, I mean. Any other fish who will have fun controlling the population of MTS?

There ate quite a few like clown loaches or puffers, but Assassin Snails works really well too and there is always demand for those so they are super easy to sell 😊👌🏻
