Wow! How in the world could anyone pick just one favorite out of that list! The amount of money spent in December by the Midlife community shows that the card collecting hobby is alive and well! Well done Graig!
Great video Graig! Love Chads 71 Ryan! Graig's Willie Mays auto is great! OMG, Dave's Cobb is 🔥! Jason had a good month with the Aaron and Robinson rookies! Jake and RJ's Musial auto is crazy! Mike got one of my goal cards!!! Tony... 52 Topps Mantle in a 3?!?!?! Really awesome to see what everyone picked up! Thanks for sharing!
My favorites were the Christy Matthewson and the Lou Gehrig although the best deal was the Chamberlain. Thanks for showing my cards as well (Brown and Rose) and thanks for another great presentation!
No doubt the two pick ups from the gentlemen who had the Hammerin Hank rookies, the one signed, were both fire! But the last one, the George Washington! Never even knew that set existed. One of the many reasons I watch your channel is to learn about cards and sets, increase my knowledge. Congrats to all the folks, great gets!!!
Lots of nice pickups for December. Overall favorite the Aaron rookie not autographed. More achievable for me the 1957 Frank Robinson which is on my radar or on my short list the 56 Banks. It appears the hobby is alive and well.
Holy Moses, those are some great pickups. There was several cards I've never seen before. The Ty Cobb in an 8 is insane. It blows my mind that it even exists in that high of a grade.
The card i would like to add to my PC would be Timothy’s 1968 Superstars card in nice condition. I lean to the classics more than the “odd ball” stuff . Also like multi player cards, and this one ranks up there!
Hello Graig, eventually, I hope Buster Posey goes into the Hall. I know his career was shorter, like Ralph Kiner... For ten years, Posey was a Giants Legend!
The Wilt, for $50 seems, like a good deal. I don't know maybe some collectors still don't fully adhere, to buy the card...not the grade, a 3 really isn't even that bad, though, it will be interesting to see if that, changes in the coming months or years.
Graig, have you considered a place where the Midlife community can gather to display our pickups and collections, and to talk to one another. A TH-cam comments section is limiting and of course does not allow images. A website or perhaps a Discord channel? Just a notion.
Great question!! I have thought about doing that. Right now, I’m trying to focus my free time on keeping up with videos and work. But, at some point, yes….i would like to do that.
@@MidLifeCards If you mmention the suggestion in one of your videos, someone with more free time and skills in that direction might offer his services.
Oh my some big hitters in here and great pickups by all. Love the high number 1962 Gibson PSA 6.5. the 1912 Wood postcard but the best was the signed graded 1954 and 1955 Aaron's. I noticed on Memory lane a 1958 PSA 5 signed Mantle all Star card went for $5144. and 1958 PSA 4 Mantle regular issue $15,555. I have an All star 1958 Mantle for my autographed 1958 set would grade a one with autograph 10 I picked up for $200 years ago. The regular issue would go for a thousand not long ago and sadly never picked it up. The big card which cost me $1300 was the Maris rookie PSA 5. How the trends in the hobby change.
Great video Graig and I can’t just pick one as my favourite! Your audience continues to have very good taste! Thanks for continuing to take us along your exploration of the hobby! Have a great Sunday, Peter
The Rickey didn't go through. Ty you sharing.i sent out a letter to u today for one of your T206 cards. I also have a Yogi stamp for u to put in your collection with a self addressed envelope.
Great video Graig! Here's a suggestion for a one time variation of this theme: the one or two most favorite cards in their collection. Everyone likes to show off their favorite cards!
Wow. Santa was GREAT to this community in December! My two favorites were at the opposite ends of the $ spectrum. The Monte Irvin PSA 8 Rookie for $2032 and .77 cents from the seat cushion. What a card! And I just like how Ricky rolled with his $80 ungraded Pistol Pete. Well done to everyone!!
Good video Graig. I thought "No way on the planet earth did someone buy a 1970 Wilt PSA 2 for $50.", I bought a raw copy that's about a 4 in roughly 2021 for $70 - But I looked and I actually saw the guys sale - $49.99 - on eBay. Just Shocked at how card prices have fallen.
So many beautiful cards. my favorite is the 2 that Logan picked up gorgeous.
He definitely got some beauties.
THIS. WAS. AWESOME!
Holy cow. Fellow Midlifers….well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Looking forward to January’s pickups!
Totally agree. Eye candy everywhere!!
Really enjoyed this video, so nice to see what everyone collects. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Orlando. I'm doing it monthly, so each month will be a treat.
DANG😲😲Great pickups everyone!
Yep. MASSIVE pickups by the MidLife Community.
Great video! Love seeing where people are in their collecting journey. People picked up some awesome cards. Look forward to January show and tell.
Me too. Incredible collectors in the MidLife Community!!
Thanks for compiling the followers’ terrific December purchases!
It was incredible to see all the pickups.
Wow! How in the world could anyone pick just one favorite out of that list! The amount of money spent in December by the Midlife community shows that the card collecting hobby is alive and well! Well done Graig!
The MidLife Community went LARGE in December.
Great show. Fun looking at others pick-ups and interests. Do another one sometime.
I do one every month.
Really cool stuff. My favorite was the 1958 Topps Frank Robinson rookie. That was one clean looking 5.
That 57 Robinson was sweet. Agreed.
My favorite is the Monte Irvin rookie - that is a beauty and seems a steal at that price.
Well said. My friend David picked that one up!!
Great cards!!
Agreed. Amazing pickups.

Some awesome pickups this month.

I really like non sport cards a lot. So, I totally get it.
I like the community show and tell. I picked up 2 really good cards for my Yaz Personal collection
I agree. They're fun. I look forward to next month.
Really great month! Can’t beat $105 for 3 Mantles. Also the 34 Goudey Gehrig is such a sweet card.
Can't go wrong with Mantle or Gehrig.
Man…so busy at work..missed this episode…well done my friend🤙🏽
Thanks!! Hope things slow down for you. Unless being busy is good!! :-)
Awesome Video and thank you for putting this curation together!
Truly my pleasure.
1952 topps red with tab in an SGC 4.5 is my favorite! Thats a great card!
Yeah. The ones with the tabs are especially cool to me too.
Suprised at all the SGC. George has a keeper!!
SGC is on the rise with collectors....investors still prefer PSA, but many collectors are migrating over.
Lots of nice pickups for December. Overall favorite the Aaron rookie not autographed. More achievable for me the 1957 Frank Robinson which is on my radar or on my short list the 56 Banks. It appears the hobby is alive and well.
3 great choices. I loved the three, too.
Amazing pickups. I didn’t get anything in Dec. and prolly won’t submit my poverty pickups anymore 😂
LOL. I know. These were so amazing, I feel inadequate.
Some amazing finds wow love that last jim brown seems cheap one of the only ones I’ve seen thats not miscut
Jim Brown cards are iconic. All of them.
Best pick ups were the 48 Musial rookie cards
I know. I was super jealous of those ones!!
Holy Moses, those are some great pickups. There was several cards I've never seen before. The Ty Cobb in an 8 is insane. It blows my mind that it even exists in that high of a grade.
Yeah. The Cobb in an 8 was incredible.
The card i would like to add to my PC would be Timothy’s 1968 Superstars card in nice condition. I lean to the classics more than the “odd ball” stuff . Also like multi player cards, and this one ranks up there!
The older I get the more I love the "odd ball" cards.
THE WILT CARD FOR 50 AND THE JIM BROWN FOR 1300 WERE GREAT BARGAINS TO ME. THANK YOU.
Some great deals!!
Hello Graig, eventually, I hope Buster Posey goes into the Hall. I know his career was shorter, like Ralph Kiner... For ten years, Posey was a Giants Legend!
I think Buster gets in!!

Completely agree. I'm actually starting to work on a video along those lines right now.

Love card #490 from 1968.
I wonder what Tony who brought the 1952 topps mickey mantel,,, for $48k does for living
… I’m on a fix income,,,
Interesting question. I have no idea.
How do you add your pickups?. I cant send photos
You can upload them in the google form each month. I'll post one in a couple weeks for January.
What an incredible month of pick-ups in the Midlife community. How do you pick a favorite.
Great point. An INCREDIBLE month of pickups.
Oh my some big hitters in here and great pickups by all. Love the high number 1962 Gibson PSA 6.5. the 1912 Wood postcard but the best was the signed graded 1954 and 1955 Aaron's. Hobby trends are super interesting.
Bangers 🥁
Totally agree!!
Good video Graig! Picking up some great cards in January as well. Love the 54 Hank Aaron.- Tony
This is becoming one of my favorite monthly episodes.
Great video Graig and I can’t just pick one as my favourite! Your audience continues to have very good taste!
Thanks for continuing to take us along your exploration of the hobby!
Have a great Sunday,
Peter
Thanks Peter. This card collecting community is the best.

I would say the Joe Wood card would be one I want, that is a gorgeous example!!! Great video.
Agreed on the Joe Wood. An awesome card.
Great video Graig! Here's a suggestion for a one time variation of this theme: the one or two most favorite cards in their collection. Everyone likes to show off their favorite cards!
I like that idea a lot. Maybe I can do something on that sometime in the not too distant future.

Totally agree. Regarding the Monte Irvin....That was my friend David, who lives in Seattle.
Great video Graig! Yup, I think I’m a few years older, but we both grew up in the age of Bo Knows and Donnie Baseball!!
Two legends of the 1980s!!

Love those 1961 Topps League Leaders, the records on the back go back to 1900, fun to look at
And they look awesome. Love those cards.
I got a Julius Peppers rookie. Assigned a 9.5, population 3 with the highest subgrades.
Sweet. Fund collecting our favorite players from our favorite team.
