I am addicted to Gunsmoke, it reminds me somewhat of my love life, I married a man very much like Matt, then I got itchy feet, but 40 years later I still have an unemotional man, just like Matt. Good job I am worn out, body and soul. X p.s Thank you x
I only watched Gunsmoke for Matt and Kitty. Always wondered why they never got together. You'd think Matt would get tired and just retire and settle down with Kitty, but that never happened. Seen interview with Arness before he passed and he answered that very question. Because they were (producers, directors) didn't think that's what the viewers wanted

Yes I did too. No matter what he ALWAYS ALWAYS protected Kitty. He fretted when he couldn't find her at first. No greater love than theirs but wasn't.
