Just found your vlog! I am heading solo to visit the gardens in April. Would you say it’s better to get lodging closer to the city or near Schiphol instead? Thank you and I am excited!
Hey! That sounds exciting! I assume you mean Amsterdam city? If so, definitely recommend being based in the city and close to Centraal station :) that way you’ll be able to see way more of Amsterdam easily :)
Hi! I am planning on visiting the Netherlands in may, can I ask what date you went to see the tulips? I have exams so I am planning to go a couple days before they close keukenhof, and I wanted to know if the tulips are still pretty and in bloom by then?
Hey Ariana! We visited on 18 April. I'd say the absolute best time to visit the tulips & Keukenhof is a tiny bit later, around last week of April/first week of May!
we plan to visit Amsterdam from 22.03 till 29.03 do will have the garden full with flower and tulips on this period?can be acces by public transport? How to rent the yellow bike if i didn't have the personal card
There will always be flowers, but it is relatively early in the season so can't guarantee that everything will be blooming. But I'm sure it will still be beautiful. You cannot rent the yellow OV bike if you're not a personal card holder. But one option is you can take the train to Schiphol, then the 858 bus to Keukenhof from Schiphol. Or you can take a bus to Hoofddorp, then the 859 bus to Keukenhof from Hoofddorp. Download the app 9292 to help plan out your journey.
Hi Leesa! Happen to come across your vlog. Would like to know if the tulip fields from 2:40 - 3:00 are they part of Keukenhof Gardens? If no, mind to share the exact location? Thanks!
Hello! In this case, COVID test costs were covered by the ticket price (so test was free). I had to fill out a form online, and then make an appointment at a selected number of testing centres :) I expect it will be the same process as venues/museums open up more
@@LeesaYu awesome thanks for the response. Love your videos ! It will be great to catch up in person if you are ever in our neck of the woods (near The Hague).
This park is indeed quite busier on normal times! Loved this video! It made me remember how amazing the smell of all the tulips 🥰

If you go to their website you can see the bloom tracker. Or google since it varies slightly from year to year depending on the weather.

They are not part of the Keukenhof Gardens :) that footage is the bike route between Hillegom train station and Keukenhof Gardens :)
@@LeesaYu thank you for the tip. Managed to find the tulips fields along the way. ✌🏽

@@LeesaYu thank you! It will be rainy but Im still going to go!
Hey Leesa, we are in Den Haag. May i know where did you get the COVID test and how much it cost you?

@@pdchakravorty I actually haven't been to Den Haag yet, but really really want to visit when there weather gets warmer! Especially the beach!
@@LeesaYu we live close to Scheveningen beach so yes please plan
Hello was it cold there in May?
Hey there - we shot this video in April and it was still quite chilly (I'm wearing a down jacket) but May is much warmer :)
Hi, how much the entrance costs? Thank you!
Only 18.50 EUR each person incl tax :)
@@LeesaYu And you need to book, or can we buy the tickets there? Thank you for your response!
I would book in advance!
How did you take permission to walk on the field?
Some fields don’t have any people, but others we saw did have the owners nearby so we just asked! Most of the time we didn’t walk through though
