Audrey: Thank-you for the tour, it is always fun to see what other stitchers work areas look like. What a great way to store fabric, love it. Oh my, the thread drawer is amazing, nice start on the pear design, you are so amazingly organized, love it. Your Grandmothers quilts are beautiful, perfect workstation, your mother did a lovely finish on your hanging pillows.
Thank you so much for your kind comments! My stitchy room is definitely a work in progress but I'm happy with the system I have so far. Thank you so much for watching! I'll have a regular flosstube video up soon. 😊
Thank you for sharing your floss room. I store my linen and finished pieces the same way on pant hangers in a closet. So glad you will be joining Judy and I with Florence for our birthdays! Take care, my friend.
Thank you so much! That desk is definitely my favorite piece of furniture now. I bought it hoping I would one day fill the shelves with stitchy goodness and I am actually doing just that! Thank you so much for watching 😊
We love to see how friends store all our stitchy goodies! Love the linen hanging like this. I did that for a while with some WIPs until I got too many 🤣
Wow, Thankyou Audrey for sharing your “Floss Palace”, I now have a new name for my craft room 😁 very inspiring, I love how you store your linen. I think I now need to re-organise my craft space. Love the Sampler wall as well ❤️
Thank you so much! Yes, my husband dubbed it the Floss Palace and even sometimes just calls it "FP"! 😂 It's great to have my own space. Just hoping to eventually have more finishes up on the walls! Thanks for watching!
Woohoo, all that delicious linen!! What a treat to see your "floss palace"! Thank you so much - very inspiring! Makes me want to overhaul my craft space.
Love the linen storage how stunning to see with those fantastic linens❣️❣️ Everything nice & neat…so inspiring…Thanks for sharing Audrey. I have same beautiful color on my Potoky really enjoy mine 😘 looking forward to next floss tube.
Thank you so much! Glad you noticed the Potoky! I realized perhaps I should have stopped to talk about the tools I use but maybe next time. Thanks for watching! 😊
Hi, Audrey!! What a wonderful way to start my day! The tour of your Floss Palace was just amazing, and super delightful. ☺️ When you opened the door onto your linens, I literally gasped out loud, and I’m pretty sure my mouth was hanging open the entire time you shared all your other fabulous goodies! 😮🤣 Thank you so much for this. It was all beautiful and so much fun!!! Have a fantastic day, my friend! 🧵🪡💙 Meline
Thank you! I never tire of opening that closet door and seeing those beautiful fabrics so I'm glad you liked it too. 🥰 It did take a long time to iron all that, though 😅 Thanks so much for watching! I'll be back with a regular video before too long 😊
What a great setup, I think everyone needs a Floss Palace! Great organization for your Soie 100.3, I have been looking for something similar so thank you for sharing. I just pulled my Florence out too. Trying to decide on linen. Great way to organize the linen and the Container Store is awesome.
Thank you! I haven't yet decided what linen to use for Florence. I have the called-for Creme Brûlée but may decide on something else at the last minute. If you have suggestions, please let me know! Thanks for watching! 😊
@@StitchStitchBead My Crème Brulee is very mottled so I pulled out Dirty Teacup which I know several people have stitched Florence on that but I also arriving today is 46 count Ashley Down Bristol by Tabbycat so I will see what looks good with the thread. I’m am really liking 46 count lately. I meant to ask and you probably mentioned it before but where did you get the spool holder for your Soie 100.3? Thank you
@@reneebebla422 I have heard Dirty Teacup is a good sub and am also very interested in trying Ashley Down! It looks beautiful. Eventually I just need to make a decision. 🤪 The bins that my spools are in are from ArtBin; you can get them at craft stores and on Amazon. They aren't super expensive and have been working great for me!
I love seeing the Floss Palace!! That is a brilliant way to store your linen - I will have to consider whether I have a place in my closet setup that I could do that. My problem is not remembering what I have and then buying another piece very similar to something that I already have and ... well, you can imagine. Thanks - looking forward to your next video, as always.
Thank you! I will say, it has been nice not having to dig in a bin to remind me of what linen I have. I would always forget and now at a glance I can see what I have and how big the pieces are. It's been great! Thank you for watching; I'll have a regular flosstube up soon! 😊
Thank you! Those boxes are from ArtBin and can be purchased at craft stores and on Amazon. They're relatively inexpensive and store my 100.3 spools perfectly 😊
Lots of great ideas for organizing- thanks for sharing! Wondering what the smaller containers w lids for your kitted 100/3 are or where to find them? I have been using acrylic lipstick containers but like the idea of the lid for ability to travel with them. Thanks!
I don't use any kind of special lamp. The two lamps I have I found at Marshalls/TJMaxx and use the recommended bulbs. But I do have the overhead light on and the curtains open when the sun is out to get as much light on my stitching as possible. Getting light from multiple angles seems to help me and I can stitch well into the night. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 😊
Audrey can you tell me where you get the clear boxes for the 100/3 spools? I’ve been searching but can’t seem to find them! Thank you! Your space is lovely!
