The song is pretty good. But the mass amount of normies that straight up worship the song and anime is what makes people think bad of JoJo and this song.
Haven’t watched the video yet, but one reason I think Giorno’s theme is so special is that Kanno blended *so* many different styles that aren’t usually paired together. It’s got orchestral instruments, that piano, and a choir, yet it’s paired with electric guitar, a saxophone, electric shepherd tones, and pop-like vocals? Who thinks of doing that? Yet in the end, it perfectly represents Giorno’s elegant flamboyance, and Part 5 as a whole. And I really don’t understand why some people call it “overrated” or “just Josuke’s theme but louder” when it truly is unique Plus, the song’s melody is top notch, and has great pacing to boot. The energy in the music is unmatched, and all the styles used are blended together so well. Obviously, I could talk about the theme all day, and get much more technical...but alas. Anyway, it’s time to watch the video and see what he thinks! Edit: And as a unique (imo) request, you could react/just listen to “Valor” by Sarah Schachner from the video game Anthem’s OST. The game may suck, but that music slaps
Ok, now that I’ve watched the video, I gotta say it was a spot on analysis (imo). Cosmopolitan *is* the perfect word to describe this track, and the influences of acid and swing jazz really does give it that groove that I didn’t see before. And ATLAS, if you’re reading this, Giorno is the guy on the cover art, and his eccentric clothing is paired with arguably the most reserved and polite personality out of all the JoJos, but with a savage and lethal side towards his enemies. So his character, design, and theme are all sort of a balancing act!

The fact that this song goes everywhere really works, since they never actually play the entire thing. Instead they just take one or two sections of the song, depending on what works best for the scene, which means the song never gets stale as you watch the series. Ahh, yes, one of the coolest bangers from JoJo. I'm surprised no one suggested an orchestral version, seeing you're a composer, to have at least a comparison... But this is great too. Thank you for the breakdown! It's very informative
Agradecida con TH-cam por haberme recomendado el video.
B^) thanks for the video ❤.
other iconic songs from Jojo I would love to hear your reaction to are "Stardust Crusaders" (Jotaros theme) or "Killer" (Yoshikage Kiras)
5:52 ... kinguuu crimsonnnnn......
piano starts, ""no you" golden experience requiem....da!!!
I just noticed that this guy has a Meshuggah thingy in the bg, my best friends dad is a guitarist for that band!
Please react to Josuke's theme. It's also from Jojo's bizarre adventure and it's arguably the best jojo theme after Giorno's theme.
Fax
*Kars wants to know your location*
@@eivkiy5061 Aye Awaken and Avalon are really good too
Jotaro's theme is fire too.
JoJo music is one of the best in all anime. You should also react to 'Sono chi no Sadame' (the part 1 opening song) DIO's World OST and Kakyoin Theme.
Part 1 ain’t bad but isant the best imo
He said JoJo ost is the best anime ost
How about Kira Yoshikage theme “Killer” ?
It was funny, the reaction when the piano hit. The face of an enemy stand user, truly.
I've read all the books so never bothered with the anime and thus never heard the OST. At first I was like "This ain't that special" then boom, one thing after another everything happened and now I'm speechless. This track is amazing and encapsulates both the setting of the story and Giorno's ambition perfectly.
If you ever have the time I would recommend checking out at least certain scenes in the anime especially part 5 seeing as How imo it was a better adaptation than the manga in my eyes
@@playbutt5349 Might eventually. Part 1-2 manga artwork is so good though :D
@@RandomGuy010 yeah I agree with you there as someone who has read all of jojos and watched all of jojos there are definitely things to like and/or dislike in the manga or the anime.
@@RandomGuy010 as a jojo fan, watching the anime after reading the manga is basicly requiered, is such a good adaptation
@@RandomGuy010 David Production genuinely seems to treat Jojo as a passion project in just how much love is given to the franchise. It's so very, very good. The music and voice acting add an entire new fantastic layer. Hard recommend!
The Sheer Enthusiasm this Musically knowledgeable Guy is having with this OST is making me laugh so hard 😂❤
I always like the part after the glitch transition, it actually transit from wind instruments to piano and strings and pushed down the wind a bit and it feels weird that it worked.
It's always interesting to hear music professionals talk about pop works. Never considered the track to contain swing, acid jazz and Latin elements but now I won't be able to unhear it all!
That song reminds me to King Crimson and New kids of the block playing/dancing along 🔥❤
What a mix indeed 😆
Funny because King Crimson is the Name of the main villain’s ability in the series where this is from
5:54 bucciarotti comes down from heaven and gives you a kiss on the forehead
Would love to see you react to killer (Kiras theme) from JoJo
Yeah
Enemy Stand user: "Mwaaahahaha you're defeated Giorno! There's nothing you can do! Wait, why do I hear a piano?"
Giorno: "MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!"
That Piano solo always gives me goosebumps
This song needs more seven pages of muda in the backvround.
A golden badge for a golden song, fitting.
I was not ready for this much content in so little time, but I am loving it
This man is the only youtuber I watch every video he uploads. I really love your content! I would like to request Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern - Woody Jackson from Red Dead Redemption 2 / Tick Tock (Shadows - Part 2) - Hans Zimmer from Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows, both absolute masterpieces I will always recommend because they're soooo worth it! Keep the good content man, we love it!
Thank you so much 😄
Il vento d'oro is truly a musical experience. Some may call it vocal percussion on a whole nother level, coming from my mind!
that was truly a golden experience
I want him to react either to Noble Pope (kakyoin’s theme) or Caesar theme (il mare something I think)
Il Mare Eterno Nella Mia Anima, I'd totally agree, both are a few of my favourites lol
Great breakdown, can we get a reaction to the first hunter (ghermans theme) from the bloodborne ost
Great summary as always. It's funny that you called it a bit of a melting pot considering Giorno's lineage.
For a future review, might I suggest Nier Gestalt/Replicant's "Shadowlord" and any of the "New" titled songs (there's French "Nouveau", Gaelic "Nuadhaich", Japanese "Aratanaru", and English "New").
now you should check out Jotaro's theme! It's pretty dope!
I don't even watch Jojo but this soundtrack backhanded my face the 1st time I heard it. So groovy.
This is what i have waited all along... i subscribed to your channel just because of the attack on titan YOUSEEBIGGIRL reaction, and now I'm loving to see your reaction on the Japanese masterpieces!!
Next one should be Attack on titan Season 4 ashes on the fire by Kohta Yamamoto
I love how at 4:16 the song perfectly transitions from saxaphone to electric guitar, it's so good
Great video! One of my favorite anime songs of all time would be the elfen lied opening. It's a beautiful song. I don't mean to hype it up too much but it is great. I would love to see you react to it.
i never watch jojo but this song is ridiculously good.
Awaken...JOJO FANS !!!
Coming back to this song when you arent young anymore makes it arguably twice as good as it used to be.
And then Giorno says, "Korega requiem....... Da"
5:52 - this jamming and piano right after it actually has an important application in anime.
I, Giorno Giovanna am indeed, vining.
This song really fits passione well
The flamboyant aura is crazy
It matches with giorno's style and aura so much it's amazing
As giorno is a blend of many things, vampire human, good and evil
Things that clash hard in the jojo universe
But archives a sort of harmony in Giorno, same as the song it has polarizing opposites in terms of it's instruments and styles but the composer was able to find a balance between them and achieved a sort of weird harmonny that just works
I was eating bread in peace and when this come 5:53 i literally eated all bread in one time
"This song goes places"
Yeah this songs goes all around italy to find out about the bosses past and obtain the requiem arrow and become the boss of passione
5:55 : when someone start to tell you he had a Dream
Ur song imprint and genre background are reasons I watch ur reactions. as non musician but interested as hobby always learned something new here. ty
OOOHH PLEASE DO JOSUKE'S THEME AS WELL 😍
up
This is my favorite reaction so far, it looked like you were having so much fun
