- It's so fun seeing all of the girls interact and work towards a common goal! I am so excited and kind of sad to watch the next episode, but I have no doubt that it will be great!

The game is really where most of the story and development of Bang Dream happens, though 7 (going on 8) years of events means there's a lot to read/watch. Some events are really significant for character development, and were only alluded to in the animated version (How Sayo and Hina's relationship got better, Morfonica's formation) or never mentioned at all (how Ran managed to persuade her father to let her play, Pastel Palettes dealing with a threat from their agency to disband them, etc). On the other hand, some events are just pure fun where you get to see the girls hanging out and interacting with each other in daily life as well, and you have the Main Stories too where you see how the original 5 bands first met each other at CiRCLE.
If you want to read the game stories without playing the game, Bestdori has all of them on their site, where you can either read them or watch them with the voice acting as well. However, watching them in-game is a lot more fun because some of the special animations didn't get transferred over properly to Bestdori. If you want to watch them without playing much, the game actually lets you watch all the past events without playing, so no worries there. I think you only need to play a little to unlock all episodes of the Main Story as well.
Basically, if you have the time and would like to get to know the girls more, feel free to slowly work your way through the game stories! There's a lot of them, but that just means you have so much more content waiting for you featuring these 35 girls. :)
It's MyGO!!!!! Is a great anime
A lot of bgm in this ova is from the game.
After this, during the 6th anniversary event a lot of people graduated and became college students such as (iirc) Roselia (except ako), Pastel Palletes (except eve), Kanon and Kaoru.
The men in black 13:13 are the men in black that look out for Kokoro lol.
Moca gives off chaotic energy, she's a total gremlin lol. We love her.
Literally without Kasumi having an addiction to all things shaped like stars, Poppipa would not have been, Roselia would have drifted apart because Yukina would not have gotten counsel from Kasumi, and Raise A Suilen would have been a completely different thing altogether. Kasumi's star addiction is too strong.
Also for more BanG Dream! Context:
Before 2017, and as back as far as 2015, Kidani came up with BanGDream after listening to Kasumi playing Ryuuseigun at an Id@lmaster concert while playing the guitar.
The period of time marked by the BanG_Dream! Title is now known as Betadori, where Kasumi was depressed, Rimi was a chunibyou, Arisa was more like current Kasumi, Otae was a tsundere, and Saya didn't exist.
And the drama is darker than before.
One thing to note about Roselia here is that they signed with an agency and will debut as a pro.
I don't really play the game myself but I have it to read the stories and follow events.
We won't be seeing them much in MyGo and probably Ave Mujica next year too but we'll see them again once you start the Garupa Pico mini series. It is so fun it will surprise you.
The game has a lot good song whether Original or cover so i guess that's a good reason for u to check it
About BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! yup, they are in the same universe since the characters are studying at Haneoka, Hanasakigawa, and Tsukinomori and the timeline will be a year after season 3 since most of the legacy characters either graduated high school and go to college and the rest are graduating from high school and going to college so expect cameo appearance from the legacy characters and as I said before we will still get to see Owner-san since she's the grandma of one of the main character in the series.

@@daviddupont517 I've said it before and I will say it again that if you're in this franchise longer like I did and consumed most of their content like Live Streams, Live Concerts and follow the seiyuus behind the real-life bands and since some of the experiences from the real-life bands are adapted in this series so it isn't considered as spoilers at all rather than stating the obvious.
I play the game, watch every live, and all anime.
But Mat didn't see mygo yet.
And it will be more fun he discover for owner like we did on the show and not by reading commentary.

@@daviddupont517 Here's the thing though If you haven't known already, Mat attended the Anime EXPO and stopped by at the Bushiroad booth where MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica's life-sized cutouts are, and he said that even though he might get spoilers at that point, he won't even care, so tell me, where did I spoil stuff in the comment? like, did I spoil how MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica was formed. Who is the granddaughter of Owner-san, or who are the legacy characters that made cameo appearances? As I said I only mentioned that the characters will eventually graduate and Owner-san will appear since she's related to one of the main characters. seriously, I made this comment way before those said events and it's my own comment, and I don't even reply to your comments, so what is your problem exactly?

But look if you know the owner is involve, then when you heard about a grandma it's obvious who she is.
and Mat very like owner, see his reaction on season 3. So it's better for all of us to keep him away as much as possible.
