Back in 76, the police dept in the city near me was convinced to buy a batch of police spec Nova's, somehow the number 25 comes to mind. Well, within a year of daily street patrol use, and any number of high speed chases, they were all trashed. At least two had the entire front subframes torn out from trying to jump curbs. The survivors were pulled from patrol work, repaired and given to detectives to use. Meanwhile, they went back to full size Chevy's for patrol.

Yep St Louis Police had a flock of em. I recall one giving chase to an early 70's Camaro thru a city scaped house-to-house neighborhood. Both cars squealed in excessive body roll round a corner and proceeded up the narrow side street.Watching from my friend's porch I thought I hope that moron doesn't intend to cross the busy 4 lane Grand avenue four blocks up. Well there came this faint boooom and a rather large FLASH,almost like an incoming RLG. By the time we rushed up to the point of impact,, there, in the middle of the street was a Codorba, sliced perfectly in half,,right at the firewall, the entire front clip, spotless, crumble free with the engine and transmission intact. The rest of the car==20feet away. At the other side of the intersection that Camaro stood completely upright on it's nose--nare a scratch, leaning against a wooden light pole. The mighty Nova had served it's civic purpose, resting just sort of the most bizare wreckages I've ever witnessed.

My parents owned a propane powered tractor from the mid-'70s until about 2014.
It was an old Model 600 Case. A 1956 or 1957. I have heard that Case only made them for one model year. But I don't recall if it was '56 or '57.
It was a great tractor, for the minor purposes we used it for around the farm.
The only problem we ever had with it, was keeping the battery charged.
Since it wasn't one of our daily-use tractors, it might sit in the shed for weeks without being started.
So, whenever we knew that we were going to be using it, we would have to put the battery charger on it beforehand.😁

As I have said before, not all makes or models switched to orange frontal turn signal lights at the same time. example, The heavier duty 62 and 63 GMC trucks parked side by side were identical with white lights. My father's 1965 Galaxie had just gone back to white turn signal lights on the front. I had seen some pre-1963 cars that had been refitted with orange lights. I wonder if the imported cars such as Volkswagen made the changeover at the same time.

I seen rigs I might of went a ways on.. the 56 ford cab seemed to be a fairly easy to bring back and those are still high dollar when in shape that someone else can finish. Learning how much to put in and leave for the next guy is really the thing to watch close as your only going to get so much, if ya put too much in, its just money that you will never get back. I ain't sure about the turn out for this one, just guessing this one should not of got a high turn out and maybe leave a guy a chance to make a good dollar on them. While it is interesting to see collections of this size, it is a shame that, for the most part, these videos are past tense. There is a TH-camr in N. Dakota that might have been interested in that '67 Chev/GMC pickup as he has one he is considering rebuilding and that would given him a lot of body panels he needs to make his right.
