Another great tutorial. Varying colors and sizes could make this pattern look like a shrimp, crab, or bait fish. The brushes might be a bit time consuming for just a few of these. Dubbing loops seem a bit better for just making a few flies. But those brushes would be big time savers for tying up a big batch. Probably ensure the batch would be identical too.
Yes, if your tying two or 3 then for sure, compound dubbing loop will work. And yes definitely can tie in other colors. Glad you liked the video, thank you for the comment
Oh man, I wish I could be fishing in florida! Every one I see fishing there catches tons of fish! Its decent here in Texas but nothing like it is there from what I see. Good luck on your trip and let me know how you do!
Awesome! There are a few other patterns Ive done that should work great for you. Check out this playlist as these are all of the saltwater fly tutorials Ive done. You might find a few others that you might want to tie up. Skip past the first 3 as they are the EP flies and this one... But after that starts some others. th-cam.com/play/PLzm0MUllTsDJrl4p4_aOC0EQlo-DMAQEb.html
I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Works well for redfish. I know there are a ton of reds there. I think it resembles a brown shrimp so any fish that eat brown shrimp would work
One of best videos I have seen. It moves along at an entertaining pace with clear videography and instruction
Thank you
Excellent job, perfect. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you
Yup. It was Andy Packmore's design. Great guy - humble, funny, and a wonderful fly fisherman.
Thanks for the info! :)

Cool
"...very expensive EP [products]..." No kidding! I don't mind dubbing loops that much. 🙂 Cheers!
Yeah EP is pricy! So use the Congo hair in the video. It’s good stuff.
Take my money!
Lol I appreciate the compliment.
