Before she died, Alex asked Anna what is she worried about? He knows exactly what she's worried about. Then after their argument, he did it anyway. If he had a brain, he would know pregnant women aren't supposed to drink alcohol. That should have been a hint right there that Eva was lying. He says he hates Eva but he kisses her and treats her way better than he ever did Anna. Also, I'm glad Zachary told him this. "Those who betray their sincerity will be punished sooner or later." This is exactly what happened to Alex throughout this story.
