Grey-headed swamphen | purple swamphen | Porphyrio poliocephalus | nature documentary with Eng subs

Grey headed swamphen is a species in the Rallidae family. Initially they were considered a subspecies with purple swamphen as the species. however now they are considered as full species on its own. With their cosmopolitan occurence, they are a source of conservation concern chiefly for the possible negative impacts this exotic species may have on native bird species, plant communities, and crops.
